Good job. Watching Cal and Sam working together is a real pleasure. You showed nicely how real life utilitarian design process looks like. There are always a few ways to achieve a goal. Using your experience you choose the one that is optimal in therms of durability, maintenance, cost and aesthetics. No time for influencer BS.
Re-bar gaurds are a Brilliant invention!.We have had them on our machines for 6 years now and they have saved no end of damage to our tackle. They look mint Baz! 👌👍
Baz we OAP's really enjoy every one of your video's, most of us are past our best, but still tinker around in our garage come workshops. The new ideas you think up and put into practice give us ideas too, indeed, we enjoy how they give us ideas and how we can safely do similar small jobs ourselves. I quite often watch reruns and still enjoy them the same as if the were new posts.
The plasma table is definitely a game changer for you. It's great to see you are not sugar coating stuff and changing your ideas to improve the quality. A lot of creators would have edited the video to show your first idea and then the finished article. Best bit about your videos is you get the proper way to do things👍
On the plasma. When cutting those triangles if/should have Carl turned the 2nd &4th there would have been less waisted steel. If when operating the Plasma b4 starting check layout (remember it is like doing a puzzle) also less waist more bonus (that is for the operator). Thanks I do look forward to your videos.
As I’ve said in other videos with this same issue, there is a bug on the computer which doesn’t allow parts to be spun 180, however this is being looked in too 👍🏻
@@Proweldcal Whoever is causing the delay should be mage a wear of the wastage of steel & got onto the fixing asap..(As its not mine time is their problem sorryfor caring)
It must be nice working with good lads. Explain what you need and have confidence they can sort it. I have to spend days sorting out work instructions for people not to follow. 😊
Brillant video yet again ye are lucky to have Callum and that young lad sam for a 16 year old he has great attitude and it's all down to you Baz your like a father figure to them I hope your business exceeds your expectations because your one hell of a great guy all best from cork ireland keep it going Baz and the stig of course
Every day's a school day, the next ones will be heavier duty from the start. Cracking welding from both Cal and Sam good pair of lads. As always stay safe and crack on lad to the next one.
Midweek video, oh yeah! Baz, just wondering if the triangular gussets could be nested better on the plasma for less material waste, flip the 2nd and 4th ones over? Maybe it's a software limitation.
Class work again lads, design and build all the way develop and learn see even for a demo first time around how it progressed with the thickening and strengthening plates sure next time out be x10 again spot on
Just watched CEE channel he was working on the rams for the biggest cat loader i got a suggestion for this video glad i did awesome work on the track guards 😊
@welderfabber yeah even had the bloke from mythbusters was there last weeks you will be up there soon enough love the videos sat and watched a few today keep up the hard work might see you around my area one day fox just opened up a lock up down the road from me
I am so happy you changed things, I was screaming at my wife, that it wasn’t good enough hahahahahaha, why didn’t Cal question you?, he is a diamond, he should have spoken to you about it before doing the second one, boost his confidence baz
Thanks for a brilliant video x well done all especially Sam coming on leaps and bounds watch you're ar*e Carl Sam is young blood catching up fast 😂 well done Baz and Carl for showing the right way to teach you're skills and to be able to push a welding gun as well as a brush xx
It does look like by trying to protect the underside of the cab your putting the track frame in the line of fire instead as there would be a fair bit of leverage from the ends of the guards
Great little stand alone,if I may ask, when welding you appear to have a jump lead attached to what you are working on, what is this and why is it there? (I work in healthcare,so please be kind)
Very nice, a option Bax would be use M/S plate on the top with a strip of Hardox welded to the front of the plate (just like digger buckets ) less cost for the top place also you can replace the wear edge and better for welding re Hardox to MS Just the same but top plate is MS
@@welderfabber Yes you are correct it is very strong, just a thought as you mentioned the "cost" of a sheet. Who I sub to use it a lot on cultivator legs they make
Good video and a good safety addition. Do you think that the underbody of the machine should be made stronger, like hardox plates welded underneath the Cab? It would be easier and less chance of being ripped off.
Just an observation lads, try be more thoughtful on where your cutting shapes out on the plasma looks like your getting abit of waste. You could save on material and money with a bit more planning. Great work as always. 👍
Baz them WF plates cut on the plasma would they be available to buy on your website, another job smashed by cal always too work from the man you and your work is a credit to WF 👊👍💪
Very cool. Do you ever run dual shield wire? I’ve noticed you mostly run hard wire even on heavy steel, other than not having to clean up the slag what’s the advantage over dual shield? Thanks and keep up the good work.
Hi baz can i quote you for any profiles you need that you cant plasma yourself ? I stock hardox and have laser plasma and flame cutting machine also Lumsden Grinders
Baz just a thought i am spending a lot of time walking away from screen with the welding Scenes . Could you not put a filter on camera for these scenes . Might seem petty but old eyes don't do good on the welding stuff .

Agree , significant wastage there.
we working closely with weldfast we will get it down in time
Cals vertical mig is the bees 🐝 knee's, awesome welder 👍 love the videos Baz and crew 👌
Thanks 👍
Sam is very steady with his welding. The joys of being young. Prototype 1 done. Callum is happy to weld. From any angle. 👍😜💥
Nice work Cal
That plasma table is a game changer! And having someone like Cal that can operate it great asset to the company! 😊
yes all them will know it 1 day
Baz and Callum something else mate ❤
Looks factory-installed nice work.
Brilliant video Baz and Cal. You always give the customer the best service and quality in your work that you do. Stay safe and keep the videos coming
and sam
My apologies for not including Sam
its a team effort a "WELDERFABBER" job no need to name names
Good to see Sam doing so well. I only hope he doesn't run when he sees the hard graft. You wouldn't do that would you Sam .lol
It must be nice working with good lads. Explain what you need and have confidence they can sort it. I have to spend days sorting out work instructions for people not to follow. 😊
Absolutely good lads that listen are hard find and trust
Awesome video, great work everyone thank you baz & The director
Thanks again!
Thank you welderfabber team 🤘 love the plant videos
Very smart work this Baz and Cal, could do with these on the 380 now it’s getting different Jockeys! 👍
And sam !!

What a treat. Plasma table in action. Like a ballet dancer with Cal doing the choreography 💃🕺
Brilliant video lads 👍
Well Baz young sam is truely coming a long and is going to be an amazing assist to the business .
fantastic chapter well done BAZ /CAL and SAM stay safe guys. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you team welderfabber another super upload

Was going to say same thing, noticed this on a previous video, it’s all a learning curve.
defo learning as we go
awesome. you could make the height of plate taller. then cut the hardox so it goes threw and weld it up both sides
Class work again lads, design and build all the way develop and learn see even for a demo first time around how it progressed with the thickening and strengthening plates sure next time out be x10 again spot on
'ey up Baz, cracking episode, great job from Cal and Sam 👍👍👍
Awesome! Thank you for sharing your work and skills with us.

Very tidy work as usual lads,, great job by Sam
Hi Baz Cal & Sam very nice job Thanks again
Super enjoyed all the fabbing. Thanks for posting.
Another fantastic video Baz and team
Nice work Cal and Sam...Bass/ Wellderfabber

Both him & Director spotted it as did I when I got back.

Hey Baz as solid of a solution the rebar plates are would the track frame itself be the next weakest point?
It does look like by trying to protect the underside of the cab your putting the track frame in the line of fire instead as there would be a fair bit of leverage from the ends of the guards
This a solid design been working well for demo machines for a long time now
Awesome job!
thanks
And the young lad ❤
Always great Lads….Paulie
Wasting material there Baz (5:04) Turn the second cut out 180 degrees.
Yeah its a learning curve
Should make little wf key rings on the plasma table be cool 😎
We may make some merch on it at some point
Great vid seeing things being made they look solid fab stuff.👍🍺😎
Top job 👍
Thanks 👍
Tintin on the job 😅
haha
Great video boys, again some lovely welding by our Cal the mutts nuts

@ that’s very true
Thanks 👍

No Hardox has very little flex M/S could bend

Have I missed an episode with the heli lift getting used?
No customer didn't want it on cam
Good jawb
Obviously a lot of heat needed to weld those big plates on, do you need to account for warpage with gear that thick Baz?
Good video and a good safety addition. Do you think that the underbody of the machine should be made stronger, like hardox plates welded underneath the Cab? It would be easier and less chance of being ripped off.
Hardox is very expensive these work fine
Hello!
Which is better: Kemppi X3 or Cebora Kingstar in your opinion? Which welding arc is better?
both great at what they do
what are those yellow ear plugs cal always wheres? or are they headphones. must be good for him to use them so much
Does the software for the plasma table not have a nesting feature?
Yeah we are still learning bud
excellent, that should deffo help you maximise your material use 👍 The table looks a great piece of kit
Another great job. At first, I thought Cal was putting the scrapers together and was surprised it was Sam. He's coming along
right nicely. Cheers.
That's two of us he did a cracking job.
Why was you surprised. He’s been welding since he was 4 years old ?
Just an observation lads, try be more thoughtful on where your cutting shapes out on the plasma looks like your getting abit of waste. You could save on material and money with a bit more planning.
Great work as always. 👍
Thanks for the tip! We still learning the NEST system
Baz them WF plates cut on the plasma would they be available to buy on your website, another job smashed by cal always too work from the man you and your work is a credit to WF 👊👍💪

Maybe 1 day
Another quality job!! How do you clean the lazor cutting machine 🤔
dig it out when full
Hi Baz and team another great series. Could you tell me why sometimes when welding you don’t wear a welding mask ? Ps I’m not a welder
Good question! Its when tacking up...up to the welder.
Very cool. Do you ever run dual shield wire? I’ve noticed you mostly run hard wire even on heavy steel, other than not having to clean up the slag what’s the advantage over dual shield? Thanks and keep up the good work.
We dont right now but plan to
Old Bazza is a bit OCD about how thick his metal has to e 😂😂
OCD about making it right bud
Hi baz can i quote you for any profiles you need that you cant plasma yourself ? I stock hardox and have laser plasma and flame cutting machine also Lumsden Grinders
Always good to have options, but I have a good relationship with Bullen's
How much power does the plasma cutter use?
Not 100% sure but it isn't that much with the new compressor
👍💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
can we have a master class from Calm on vertical MIG?
Sam will show ya 😉
@fatsam515 Ok I’ll put him on vertical mig next week on cam lets see how he does.
Hi Director, Please could you tell me the name of the soundtracks, tia.
All from epidemicsound.com
I’m pretty sure the excavator will fall off the track guards before the track guards fall off the excavator.
🤘😎🤘🫖☕️🍪🎥👍👍
Could you not of made it like a bridge and put a piece down on the outside to help strengthen it?
No need
Baz just a thought i am spending a lot of time walking away from screen with the welding Scenes . Could you not put a filter on camera for these scenes . Might seem petty but old eyes don't do good on the welding stuff .
Buy yourself a welding mask problem solved 😂
@@gregshearer423 LOL look a bit silly sat in front of a laptop with a welders mask on . Love the content get baz to send me some sunglasses 😅
Cant have a Director in for 2 day to just to put glass on when welding...
