I always just used fiberglass stick on tape vs paper w mud every time I had to do it; but this does make it look really easy.

Because changing it makes work faster and easier. Just like horses worked as a mode of transportation for many many years. Why do you use a car then? Living in a cave worked for many many years, why do you use a building to sleep in? Pen and paper worked for many many years to send letters why do you use a phone and computer to email?
