Elizabeth, I love your hair! And omg another happily enabling episode.🩷. Ran right over and ordered Ghosts Queen of the Needles. 🩷 Amy, love Quaternion designs. I’m working on the Fairytale Forest SAL.
Ya’ll are so funny. I loved it when Caroline said she convinced her friends to make her favorite show! Amy I finished Moonglow a while back. It’s the beading that’s keeping me from finishing it. I need to just do it. How hard can it be? I also changed the hair color to match my own. ☕️
I just discovered your channel and have binged watched all your episodes. I love you girls. So much fun to watch. Thanks for the entertainment, oh and the cross stitching. ☕️
O M G! It would be amazing watching you guys playing a DnD short campaign! Love what you did with the Hawk Run fabric Caroline! Cracked me up watching the wheels turning in your head, Elizabeth, when Caroline suggested encasing your project in resin😆 You have become my favorite show as well. Great job entertaining and inspiring us all!
You all are hilarious - thank you for a fun time! Love your new look, Elizabeth. You all stitch so many fun patterns that I have to sit here with a pen/paper to write down the ones I love. I'll be doing the Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow starting in October! Looking forward to see all your progress. ☕ ~Sassy~
I love the California Raisins Christmas Special. I have that same Christmas book and also have plans to make one large raisin Sampler. I want to chart garland across the tops with the bells and a fly in the center of the garland. Then maybe each block will be an old TV. I'm hoping to start it this December. Maybe we could collaborate and have a SAL. Also, I made my own floss drops with two holes for each color of the blend, and a smaller hole for leftover already blended floss. It's a lot of work but it really helps because her charts are very confetti heavy. ☕️
Love your hair!! It’s soooo cute. I want to do a UA-cam called stitches and styling which is a mix of hair styling and cross stitching 🤣🤣🤣 I’m kidding, not kidding… I’m thinking WIPS and SIPS(styles in progress) 🤷♀️. I do wonder how many people are in the middle of the Venn diagram for “cross stitch” and “hair styling” videos? 😂😂 I love your UA-cam!!
☕️ love Pirate and Robin flosses and those patterns are so cute!! I’ve DM’d Tomb of Annihilation! So much good stories from those sessions and I’m definitely a dice gremlin.
Awesome video as always! I had a couple of things to say but I don’t remember one of them, of course.. However, the one I do remember has to do with the yellowing of Acrylic. My Mom loves to watch woodworking videos where they make furniture with both wood and epoxy. In one video, they discussed the yellowing of clear epoxy and it does yellow over time. So, what he does is slightly tint or use an epoxy that is a very faint blue because they are opposites on the color wheel and the yellowing will be neutralized so you don’t notice it. Just some food for thought.
I asked about the not colorfast-ness of Under the sea fabric in the dark queen of the earth stitching group. I never seem to get the wrinkles out of my fabric unless it's dampened. Someone said they had dampened the fabric and it went fine. Not sure how it would act if it was soaking wet though. I have string lights with Christmas dinosaurs! They all have Santa hats. It's the ugliest but also best Christmas decoration I own.
Ok, this is helpful, thank you so much!! I’m so afraid I going to ruin it…or my project! Pirate Robin was kind enough to give me a tiny bottle of her dyers soap. I’m going to try soaking it in cold water and the soap to seal the color in.
I could see mini cross stitch resin pendants on necklaces or key chains. Now, I would never dip the magical wizard clown in resin, but think of the fancy red frame that could be made from it! 🤡🧙♂️ I have a little 2 foot Christmas dinosaur that goes on our porch every year!
My kids had the Claymation Christmas. and now that we are spread out over 5 houses, three of those houses also have it. What about Emmit Otter's Jug Band Christmas?
Aimee! Moths and the Moon looks so gorgeous on that fabric! Can't wait to see your floss choices for the rest of the moths. Also excited to see some acrylic creations! Thanks for another fun episode, ladies!
Wow, the framed pieces are beautiful! I’ve heard of people putting their orts in acrylic but I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone use acrylic on a finished stitched piece - that will be an experiment, definitely! ☕️
A Thread Gremlins DnD group?!?!!! I would totally be down for that LOL. Loved the projects! I'm also doing the moth pattern by Tiny Modernist using my own floss on a dark fabric. LOVE the green fabric you picked for it Amy!
❤. Wonderful video ladies! As a stitcher from the 80’s, using blended threads are not new to me. My suggestion that I used back then (😂)-I cut down a file folder and punch holes into that folder. I then marked each hole with the symbol of the blended threads. The symbol is the key to keep the many blended threads on that project.
@@Elizabeth-pj5if Blends can be fun. That list you showed was massive. But that bell pull will be simply stunning when done. It will look like a tapestry!
Great show as always, Elizabeths reaction to Carolines suggestion of sealing her cross stitch in acrylic was priceless! Great idea though Caroline! Loving the snowflake piece by Textilly ☕☕
When you started talking about the California Raisins Christmas Special, it was just one more confirmation that you are my people. And the claymation dinosaurs need their moment.
I love the idea of pouring acrylic for framing, that’s so fun! I’ve thought about doing that for the witchy stitcher tarot cards so they look like actual cards, but with resin rather than acrylic.
Loved seeing your finishes and progresses. I also am a D&D nerd. I currently play 2 games and Dungeon Master one. I have some D&D cross stitches that I want to make into a banner to decorate while I have gaming sessions at my place.
This is my favorite show too! I was online yesterday looking for your new flosstube! Whenever another flosstuber asks about who we watch, I shout you out. I have watched all your episodes. Liz, your hair looks great! As far as patterns you show, I have started the tree Christmas stocking that Liz finished. I love that you all have different taste in patterns. You all pick great things!
All the blended threads omg. When I did a pattern like that I just had multiple floss drop cards and wrote what all the blended threads were and tried to keep it organized that way. Coffee cup ☕️
for Elizabeth's piece with all the blended threads check out Atom Heart Cross Stitch as I know she has shown how she uses her floss drop to store and label the blends. Essentially, she uses floss drops that have a hole for each color of the blend and labels each color on the drop.

Amy I would call Leslie at under the sea fabrics . She has a brick and mortar store now . She is the dyer and may be able to give you some extra advice on your non colorfast fabric . Good luck !
☕That pattern with the blended threads was mind boggling. It would be a pain to get them resorted, and it would be wretched to throw thread away. I think I would make a new bit every time the needle ran empty, rather than make a big initial supply for what I expected to need. Then I'd use that one leftover blended bit in a "tails" project. I've just learned that people who don't like to save threads back to their main supply do tails projects. If this appeals to you, you could even use them up willy-nilly in a Long Dog and not be stressed by the prospect of crafting a traditional Long Dog.
Elizabeth, your hair looks amazing! What a transformation. Arica, at Fibre and floss Canada, has done great tutorials on kitting up a Teresa Wentzler - including how to manage and track the blends.☕
