You guys! Your thumbnail was on point and then when I saw where it came from I was dying. As usual so much beautiful stitching. I am stitching Baldaquin Birds from you showing it so I am thrilled you will be stitching it in the future.
Your monochrome (gentle note that monotone is musical…1 tone whereas monochrome is 1 color) piece is so beautiful. I love the variety of your projects!
What an action-packed and amazing journey you took us through today! First off - the tiny fingers are hilarious 😂 Congrats to Amy on her gorgeous finish - love it! I am OBSESSED with Elizabeth's plaid method and want to try that out as soon as possible. Thanks for the WorldCat info too! I LOVE the Voluptuous Mermaids pattern; it's wonderful and I totally want to stitch it too (and go on a deep dive into WorldCat)! Caroline's d20 ort idea is awesome and a great way to commemorate the year. Fabulous! Thanks for all the laughs and ideas!
@Threadgremlins I would love a plaid pattern and how-to to buy from Elizabeth. :) Also, I loved her library story. Reminded me of all the bookstores I worked in and the random quests we were sent on. "It's cream colored and it's about slavery" "It's usually on the bottom shelf at the grocery store." "The girl with the ponytail was holding it on Good Morning America this morning (pre-internet).
I'm doing my first Chatelaine too, and I chose Octopus treasure cave! It's beautiful, I'm stitching it on 32 count Smooth sailing by roxy Floss and I am so happy I chose this one as my first 😊
Omg love you ladies!! First, Elizabeth, that plaid - what?!! Seriously, I need to see that in person! Caroline are you planning on stitching the entire Dutch beauty?? Mine is 3 feet wide on 40ct! If so you’re gonna need a full yard of that beautiful fabric! And Aimee - love your Inspired by Nature! I literally want to stitch this all day long! And I want to stitch the red reversible sampler with you when it’s released!
So I have a TW piece that I both adore and spends a lot of time in time out because the border is this beautiful Celtic knot work that is all fractionals and blends. Worth it but slow progress Also I love the library story! I went on a World Cat scavenger hunt for OOP cross stitch and also ended up in New Zealand (what’s up with that?) but unfortunately they couldn’t locate the book. I even had a person in NZ ready to check it out and do the scanning 😂
Katie of RedsStitchery! I love her. She just released a WIPs parade too. I knew I'd seen those gorgeous mermaid ladies before. Also, pleaaaaaase teach us your ways of plaid stitching Elizabeth! The bags were so cute too!
I just started hand dying fabric and I tried tea staining. and I got a beautiful super pale caramel colored tan and I think I’m going to recreate that color and use that!
Oh my gosh Aimee, that is SUCH a beautiful finish! Thank you all for bringing your creativity and joy to all of us ❤️

Jawline was sharp!
Another great flosstube. Hilarious how you tracked down the voluptuous mermaids. They sound like something Jill Oxton's Cross Stitch & Beading did.
Yes! That’s the publication exactly!

Great video - so much fun! Caroline, finished is better than perfect, and your framing didn’t cost an arm and a leg.
They are framed. The end haha

Librarian are heros
Oh that must have been so frustrating! For both you and the librarians.
I hear you about TW pieces. They’re worth it, though. :)
I just love what you are doing with Skatumn, Caroline! It will be a beautiful record of your progress for you when you are done!
Feels very good to have it back in the rotation. Clean slate
