In this video i show you how to change your seats color and how to install the leather Seat Covers. It is very important to protect the original seats, if you want to sell your car later the value will be higher and also you have 15 color to choice from. So if you want a new appearance for your interior i think it is the best way to go.

I ordered my model 3 with black seats because I didn’t want the hassle of cleaning the seats all the time, especially with an 8 year old but now I feel like I should have just ordered the white but I’m glad to see that I have an option of ordering these covers and like you said they can be washed and easily replaced. You can remove the large back cover of the front seats by pushing the buttons on each side up on the headrest mounts. That way you can tuck in the rear edges of the cover, as well as the strap which goes behind the seat will be covered and hidden when you clip the back cover of the seats back on.

Hey just wondering how does it affect seat heating? I have a 100D s and not sure if worth to get seat covers if warm function is nullified

i still have concern with airbag operation although they claimed it’s safe. any thought on this?
Yes I have also the same though. They say it is safe but iam not sure about this. I also dezinstalat them now....I use the old one and I use them from time to time 👍

@@SDADanCars I agree with this. We love the white seats on the Y but hate the white on the doors and dash. We ordered the black interior and will be covering the middle console with wood grain to match the dash. It should look great with the white seat covers and white arm rest. We can protect the original seats that way too. I messaged two different people at Taptes and they assure me that it is compatible with the airbags. I see that there are universal seat cover companies that have tested compatibility and also many sites that say just make sure your covers are made explicitly for your car and the airbags should work. So I'm confident that these with their near perfect fit and construction, will have done a good job with the airbag as well.

Isn't this interfering with the airbags in the seats ?
I have ask them and they said that is safe for Airbags......
If you take the headrest off, it will be easier to put the top of the seat cover on as well as the headrest cover on. dont make it harder than it has to be for yourself.

Thanks for the review, they look great! I order couple things from taptes; namely wireless charger and console center cover. They work great. One thing i wanted to point out is delivery time is very long, the products come from china at least for what i have ordered. I believe it took over 4 weeks

Hello, thank you for your video, can you tell us more about the color, are they white like the original ones? Or a little beige like some covers that are found everywhere?
Thomas they are white same as originals. You can't make the difference in terms of color. I was surprise how good they make it. The only concern is the airbag ...They say it is working with airbag but iam not sure about that 🙂

MAGA yes vegan leather isn’t even a thing it’s something the car trade came up with rather than describing their seats as faux leather, which is exactly what it is. They use plastic polymers like pvc and polyurethane, they are the most common two.
Sure, but if you are vegan like me, you want assurances that it is not a dead animal carcass ;). The name provides that assurance.

That doesn't mean that everything is made through human instigated unnecessary suffering of animals and continued arrogant entitled anthropocentrism. If people don't want to harm animals and/or don't want to eat them for health, climate, or biodiversity, protection reasons, maybe you should not take that personally and just let them make their choices the way they would like. Labelling plastic - sourced car seats as "vegan" helps us to know we are not sitting on dead cow carcasses. It's useful. If you don't want to be vegan, at least don't shit on other people's efforts to do so through lame attempts to trivialize their efforts. It's damn hard work to be vegan - especially when the whole world seems to be offended by your choice.
