Just ordered a grey set. I’ve been looking around for a nice seat cover for some time. I saw you testing and poking through the seats in one of your earlier videos. Looks promising but wouldn’t wanna wait who-knows-how long. Ordered a set from taptes. Not cheap. Took 25 days to arrive. Cleaned, Prepped, Gyeon-coated and installed on the the 1st of this month. Then, this came available. Gotta do it all over again. Sigh. I don’t like the taptes rear. These looking much better.

Do the red seat covers stain the white seats after prolonged use?

Hey, any chance the black backing of the seat covers can transfer dye or black color onto the original white seats?
No. We’ve had these on for months and no impact on the white seats on our Y. Happens usually when it’s cheaply manufactured.
Do the covers decrease the temperature of the heated seats?
There shouldn't be much of a difference. You may notice that the seats heat up slower and it might not get as hot as before, but should only be minor
