I’ve been using baby wipes for quick cleanups and maintenance on my white seats and works great. Pretty sure you were the one who mentioned that tip. Also come in handy at public restrooms on road trips. 😅

Yo Kevster, I've put 10.5k miles on my Model Y with the white seats. I've mostly worn black or blue denim on them and YES it does transfer to the seats. I've also had cherry icee, coffee and chocolate on them. So far, I've used nothing but hypoallergenic baby wipes on them and they look great. I clean up the spills and smears as soon as they happen and I wipe down my seats 2-3 times a month. My advice is, if you're interested in the white seats, get them. As for folks that have stain issues, I'm curious about how often and "how" they clean their seats. Most will not mention that.
@@gbearfan1670 my transfer were from “Cintas work pants” I’m assuming bcz they were new idk. To answer your question it was within 5 work days and got to them on the weekend and the transfer didn’t come off
Ok this stuff is great. Coincidentally just arrived today, after wife stained the passenger seat with some sunscreen over the weekend. What didn't come up with a baby wipe came right up with this stuff. Pumped to clean the entire interior now before our first bigger road trip tomorrow!
Tip: Don't let people use hairspray in your Tesla! It'll leave stubborn spots on the black interior. I took a chance on Hydrosilex Interior after watching Gjeebs' channel. I was surprised that the product took it right back to brand new. Now I'm in the market for an effective bug cleaner :)

I have white seats on my LRMY and i live in miami! My seats look great! And yes…if you live in a hot region, white seats are a must! A baby wipe takes away most stains…..go for it!

I have had my Model Y for 2 + years and I have had no issues with my white seat. I will the seat cleaner plus the bug cleaner. Here in Florida we have a lot of bugs.The bug cleaner you used looks to work great!

I'm so glad you brought this seat issue up, front and center! Our used 2018 Tesla's white driver seat has blue jean wear on the driver seat and I can't wait to clean it off. Who wants to sit where some big bum has rubbed their jeans to where you can see it?! My suggestion? Stop wearing 1973 Jordache jeans if you have white seats! If you can afford a Tesla, you should be able to afford Paige or Gap jeans that don't stain! There!
I saw how easy it was to clean your white seats before, so I got white seats when I ordered my Model Y, which is only 6 months old, but looks like new. Great job, going to get the brush and some Hydrosilex.
I’ve been following gjeebs cleaning method and product. They are great. It’s an OCD’s bible. 😅 black exterior is so hard to maintain. Hydrosilex water solution is great. Can’t wait to get the bug bottle when I visit the US. The shipping is $75 usd to Canada. 😢

Only have 4 months on my white seats so far but adding a baby soon so that'll finally give the back some wear. Biggest issue so far was a black headrest pillow leaving dye marks on the headrest and seat (when I had it sitting in the passenger). Need to get the interior cleaner on it cuz baby wipes even w prior gyeon coating didn't take it off
Nice video. I went with the black interior but this is a good reminder I need to clean that too. I do brush my teeth so it makes sense to clean my interior ... :) We also have a NJ-FL road trip planned in August, because the smart thing to do is drive to the most humid place on the planet in the hottest month! I will have to pick up some of the that Silex Bug and Tar Remover! Tons of bugs will be inadvertently squashed on this road trip!

I used Gyeon Leather Shield on my white seats, treated them day 1. 100.000Km’s; still fresh! Only using baby wipes on the accidental spill.
I’m glad you mentioned the cracking on the side. I have dogs so I wouldn’t dare think about white seats. My black seats needs a little TLC as it is.

The seats are now perforated in the 2024 model 3, so not the same maintenance at all. Much more difficult with those small holes
