I don't usually comment, but man, what a battle, you know the fight was intense when you notice that Apollo didn't have to speed up the replay in all the video. Congrats to both teams.

Another well fought siege, and great coverage.
I feel as if the attackers should have utilized the artillery more before scaling the walls, they took a lot of casualties during that first attack phase.
The defense was strong and all players and teams fought well.
I’m not crazy about Rome 2 and the Total War games that have came after it, but it sure does look good! Awesome video!

You should do a ranked tier list of your favorite total war games and why you recommend them over others sometime.

I don't want to see my enemies ammo count during battles but in replays I think it's better if you see everybodies ammo.

Ah another good siege battle in the ancient world, if i just had a good siege like this one (covered by apollo ofcourse) a good bag o' chips and tea i could sit there for hours
I would of moved up the artillery to attack those troops on the second line of defense to dwindle them down.

I also have a strategy for you to try out. You charge a line of soldiers with shock cav and pull them back right after they change breaking the line and then send in cheap light cav to butcher the soldiers.

fr tho Kingdom Come was a nice break and I really enjoyed the play throughs , but seriously my sanity depends on being able to fall asleep watching these Total War Battles
To answer you question, I think it's better to use your archers first. For me, the javies are the final blow to a unit already shaken by arrows... then the javelin men can charge

Javelin before arrows because javelins also weigh own enemy shields so it can be harder to block from arrows. This is the whole reason why javelins were used to make the shields clunkier

I dun get why ppl won't bring naked warriors. Those guys are unique to barbs and they hit like a truck. They are way better late game compared to oathsworn.
