Phillip Danner is back in the shop with Narwhal Labs divulging more of his secrets for silicone mold-making success! In our previous video, Phillip showed us some techniques with limited specialty tools to make the process easy to replicate in a home workshop. This time around, Phillip teaches us some of his more specialized mold-making wisdom and shows us some additional techniques to make complete acrylic mold masters and prepare more advanced silicone formulations.

What brand is the vacuum?

It’s a Bacoeng that we got from Amazon. It’ll work for degassing silicone no problem, but you might not want to leave it running for extended periods of time. The coils in the motor got too hot and shorted.
