@@trav-Elr thanks! That ridge is called “The Narrows.” If you look it up online, you might see it spelled “The Nars.” And the canoe is a 15ft Nova Craft Prospector.
good video! hit ya'll with the sub! keep em coming.. just a tip... when those water filters freeze they can crack on the inside and not filter properly.. I've heard some people actually put it in the sleeping bag with em to keep from freezing.
Thanks so much! I’ll definitely keep the videos coming! Ooo great idea! I’ll remember that tip for future for sure. Definitely seems like a solid way to keep from ruining a filter.
Absolutely! 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 cup powdered milk, 1 tbs shortening. Super simple and you can scale it from there. I mix the dry ingredients at home along with the shortening (which I melt and mix in). Then just add enough water in camp to make a dough consistency. I like it best over the fire or straight on the coals, but it’s pretty good in a pan too if you add a little butter or oil to sort of fry it.
@@Beyond_The_Treeline I'd never even heard of Bannock before, but made a batch last night at home. Pretty yummy and great for carb loading! Have you tried oil instead of shortening? Just a preference or does shortening somehow last better in a bag over several days?
@ amazing! Glad you liked it! Yea recently I replaced normal flour with bread flour and I think it’s so much better. You get it to rise more and it’s more like a biscuit. I haven’t tried oil before juts because it’s easier for me to make the shortening last with the dry ingredients. But I bet doing oil or butter would also be a great change!
Easy to watch video, Thank you for sharing your life 🙂
@@freelanceminddrift thanks for watching!
Beautiful river and scenery. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Nice trip, What is the name of the rock ridge at 14 minutes? What brand is your boat?

Your videos are put together nicely. Im enjoying this. That knife edge climb was a little crazy

Are you brothers? Enjoying your video 👍
Not brothers, just good friends that grew up together 😊
Oh lord! I’m afraid of heights! Great view though 😊. Just curious if you ever have any bear encounters on your trips?
Sorry I just saw this. I’ve had a couple of black bear encounters but never had them coming into camp or anything.
Right?? It's like Angel's landing, but without the chains! Yikes.
