We're all very fortunate that you're willing to do these videos. Thank You Herbie!! I've learned something from every one of these videos... keep 'em coming!
@@herbiesgarage681 I have a question, if I have a 16 JTF259.16 sprocket like you have, and a M428H-132 link chain that mean I need to take off 3 links? or 4 to make up for the master? and what the best tool to break the chain?
@ Herbie, I noticed on my KPR200 it has a sort of place for a center stand. So I was wondering if you installed one on your bike to the frame. If so where did you find it. I prefer it over a stand that go on the spools. Can you help me out here? Another thing, I love how you strapped the bag on to the rear seat,it's genius, I have the same bag and had a difficult time getting it to stay on the seat right, Thanks for you informational video . It helped me in many ways.
Thank you for the kind words serafin !!! I did install it to the frame, there is a spot made just for it. I bought mine from a chinese site engtb.com but I couldn't pull it up today for some reason, but I buy from this site as well, here is the page, the cost is very small but the shipping is high. My total cost was less than $50 usd. www.superbuy.com/en/page/buy/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fitem.taobao.com%2Fitem.htm%3Fid%3D44245317136%26ns%3D1%26abbucket%3D16%23detail&nTag=Agent-product-taobao
Thank you, the speed test was not gps verified just actual speedometer reading. You are correct in saying the speedometer reading will probably be generous by anywhere from 3-6 mph. It’s the same way with most bikes I owned including Japanese bikes. Thanks for watching!
Hi Tac, this is the chain I bought, it is a basic made in Japan chain that is good quality. If you don't like doing chain lube and maintenance, then you might want to look into an x ring chain, as it will not need lubing quite as often. If you are wanting to put your new chain on stock sprockets than simply count the chain links like I show in the video and order the same length. Here is the Amazon link. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WJB15W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Herbie how can you have 129 link chain out of a 130 link chain? I thought it was by 2 links so that will give you 128link chain, correct me if I'm wrong.
@@dmachn333 correct, they come in sets of 2, so it would be 128 links when removed, sorry for the confusion. This is an older video, and I didn't realize that I said that in the video, I will correct it though, Thanks

Thank you for the kind words, Josep! 🙂
One of the best chain maintenance videos I've seen on UA-cam. I subscribed to your channel because of it.
Thank you so much for the kind words, I appreciate the support! Thanks for subscribing too 👍🏻
Thank you!! Couldn't have asked for more.. Hope to see more maintenance videos in the future. Looking forward to your top speed test.
Thank you, I will be putting out a few more maintenance videos soon!

Thank-you your a good teacher i know i can do it now. Was that speed test gps verified other peoples lifans speedometers run 5 to 6 mph higher.

Great video thanks
Thank You, I'm glad it was useful, I plan on doing more maintenance videos in the future. Thanks for watching
what is your rear tyre size??
The rear tire size is 120/80/17
Do you think there's room in there for a 17t front sprocket? Thanks for another great maintenance video!
Yes there’s room in there and I ran a 17 tooth for a while but the 200cc struggles too much at highway speed. The 17hp engine has a hard time imho
@@herbiesgarage681 sounds like a 16 tooth is the way to go 👍
@@herbiesgarage681 yeah there's definitely not a ton of power to play around with here, so I don't want to give up TOO much torque
@@ryanwilliams5402 I think you’re right! 😁
Can you send a link to your chain and will it work with the stock sprockets
