@@andrewstratford4753shrugging and saying I haven’t got it when it’s a legal entitlement and you’re the public point of contact isn’t enough. Suggesting as an alternative that the officers who abused their powers should be able to directly contact the individual who’s had their rights infringed is even worse, who would want that? She needs to do more legwork to establish what’s failed and how it can be rectified on their end rather than putting onus or further pressure on the individual
Any compensation should come out of the officer’s wages that mess up and abuse the law. That would make them think twice about abusing people’s rights. When we the tax payer have to pay for their stupidity, they will never learn.
After watching part 1 of this debacle, I'd be willing to bet a lifetime's work in Behavioural Science that there was nobody being looked for and they searched you simply because of their hurt butts. The clusters of behaviour all 4 of them were exhibiting every time they mentioned that you looked like someone they were searching for showed nothing but deception. The fact that there's no search record just confirms my suspicions. Go get 'em AB.
This is outrageous. They’re making it so difficult to get something that they’re legally required to give you. They’re also making it impossible to get what you’re entitled to without providing personal information that you’re not obliged to provide. Not only are they wasting your time, but they’re also wasting public resources by making it such a long winded process that wastes the time of multiple constables/ police staff (and still you didn’t get your record!). One thing the police are good at is being inefficient. If they can’t provide a search record on the spot, they need an organised system in place so people don’t have to keep going through this rigmarole.
They just blame it on the victims, since that's the easiest thing for them to do and that's what they were trained to do as well. It all makes sense now!
I think I'm right in saying they found no ID at Morrissons, and the name was refused. So they are left either with no record at all of the detain and search, or they have some record based on date, time and location. Also the outstanding question of, if no ID was found, why did the cops walk away after the search? If we believe their story, then he could still have been the person they were looking for. If all we need do to avoid punishment is not have ID, then we're all going to have a jolly nice time of it!
They failed to generated a search record because the search was illegal. It would be interesting to find out when the incident record was generated. They probably only generated the incident number because you showed up looking for the search record. The time of this incident record being logged is something you should look for. As always, great video.
'The most searched bag in the UK!!' I died laughing. Send the emergency services please!!! Seriously, that service counter officer is a disgrace, she simply noting she cannot give you the record ignores the failure of the officers to comply with TVP and MET policy days after the incident. Truly disgraceful people in most interactions.
"All our police stations are closed & we never answer the phone or go on the beat. Sorry about that. But if you absolutely insist on disturbing us by wanting to talk to a police officer just go to any public place and start filming.'
Do you ever get the feeling they don’t want you to proceed with the claim, everything put in the way to block it, so where is the search record or are the police now just ignoring any official paperwork. Good video AB.👏👏
Well personally I hope TVP gives AB some money to keep him and his family in fish and chips or T bone/ fillet steaks for the next month, plus a bit of petrol money for all the running about to get his search record . Further to that I hope those four officers are throughly ashamed of themselves for this skullduggery ( and subsequent shenanigans)and are asked to write out one hundred times in their own time , “I must never, I repeat never, perform stop and searches based merely on a hunch, or just to get that persons identity.
Yes, credit where credit’s due, he was the only helpful one in this video. He actually went out of his way to try to find a resolution and even apologised.
He started off ok. But when AB came back at 2pm and the cop that searched him did not want to speak to AB he was more than happy to lie to AB and pretend he wasn't there and wouldnt be coming in at all (even though he was due to).
A shining example of a newly trained officer. Looks about 12 stood with hands in pockets. National service needed I think. Today's police force, complete waste of space.
Many years ago when I served in the military, we discussed national service with a couple of officers (Captain and Major). We realised very quickly, that we didn't want it. We had enough trouble with the ones that actually wanted to be there.
To be fair, he offered help and then was called an 'idiot' and shouted at. You want to play silly buggers (of course they know who you are as you live locally and have a reasonably well known UA-cam channel etc.) so it works both ways ..
If I could suggest something AB Brother, the guarded access function is excellent, however I had the same issues when videoing or audio recording in Court and other places, I found that if your planning to record, video or audio, to put your phone into Airplane Mode also, this stops the incoming calls from interrupting the record, combined with guard mode, Job Done! keep up the fantastic work mate!
There's going to be more "parts" to this than the Harry Potter franchise, with how long it takes for police to sort there own mess out. AB, I hope you take this to the limit. Stay safe and stay AB ❤
You NEED to sue them for failing to do their job. This is OUTRAGEOUS. I'm almost 100% CERTAIN that the "we're looking for someone" was a lie and there was no description that you would match. That is why they didn't create a record of the search. I'm also almost certain that now that this story is getting traction, a report will magically appear in the system... just watch.
The deliberate attempts to prevent you from having an official record of the the police interactions is truly difficult to comprehend. They MUST be held accountable for their outrageous behaviour and they should be severely disciplined for their blatant attempts to make you just give up and go away. Why are they not held to account, there is only one logical answer - because they are utterly corrupt from the top down and all the way to the most junior plods. The entire institution needs to be defunded and dismantled and the sooner the better.
In the "current climate" you're heading towards losing your bank account. These bastards need to be held to account. The Police, Government and corporations are trying to oppress and control the public. Stay safe.
the police are clueless about thier own procedures , they are a waste of public money. Time to sack them all and start again , the same applies to politicians
you are entitled to a search record, it should be a crime when the police refuse to give you one, they deliberately try to make it as difficult as they can for you to obtain one, they should be charged with obstruction or perverting the course of justice or something, the fact that they can just refuse to give you one suggests to me that we are NOT entitled to a search record at all, if we were entitled they should have to hand it over there and then, not send you across the country trying to track it down, that officers statement said it all and screamed volumes, BREAKING THE LAW FOR POLICE IS ENTERTAINMENT, i would defo put in a complaint and claim over this, the police just lately seem to have decided that they are completely above the law and completely above everyone else's human rights, they need to be stopped, using reasonable force if need be.
How will giving your name to these two police officers help them get the information you need as during your first encounter you did not give your name to the four police officers. Do they not have a brain cell between them, just trying to get your details.
If she cannot give you a search record based on the incudent number, that means the officers failed to generate a search record. That's a formal complaint.

That is a breach 👍 if Leonardo Dicaprio went to report a crime the officers shouldn’t be telling everyone he’s an a list actor
Just shows how cops are not willing to help after abusing your rights making the abuse worse than it already was. A reference number should be supplied to you at every incident so it can be chased up a lot easier than it is.
Thin blue line protecting their own. :-(
Yeh it's a joke. I was searched outside my own house when changing a tyre with the car jacked up with the wheel off. Apparently " a car matching this description has been involved in some violent incident on the main road, streets away" detained and searched me, didn't even look in my car then told me I can get search record online. A holes. The neighbours probably thinking I'm a criminal
Police hate paperwork. Give them as much as possible
Best entertainment in the world .what an eye opener to dirty police.
They smashed in car while my wife was driving
They come out then they give her something to sign, one cop said you have to sign another you do need it so at the end she signs paper…she got like reference number and I informed my insurance and they said they will request confidential report which they never did and they don’t get anything so on the end I forked out from my pocket repairing…crazy and insane
They are like private companies operating for themselv and protecting big corporations founded by as public….unbelievable
“You’re entitled to a search record, but we won’t give it to you until you surrender your right to privacy”. This sums up the state of policing.
Right! I mean she kept saying how can I get it to you? How about you get the search record and he'll be back in a week to collect it. Doesn't need to leave name or number
@@hasan_z It should be ready on the system under the incident number. AB did this before. Is this so difficult to understand?
@@agargul I agree, it should've been. But it wasn't. So the question in this case is: where to go from here? Mistakes should be corrected not expanded upon
Spot on!
Everybody involved in blocking the auditor getting his search record should be fired if they cannot or more likely won't do the job we pay them for.
Bicester police chased me with a helicopter, a bunch of cars, one car actually parked on the roundabout stopped me, and it was all a mistake, true story.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
HNK Solicitors will have a field day with those four officers because not only have they not followed their own police process, their detainment and search was obviously illegal.
They've not recorded the search but unfortunately for them AB has.
Yes and I hope AB gets an apology and the monies he rightfully deserves.
They will never be held accountable. By design.
AB only has to play the video , they messed up, so badly
@@thetruth9210 hmmm.
No search record is just a way for them to avoid accountability for illegal searches.
No search records because they don’t record the search
There was no person that they say they were looking for
Thankfully there was a search record, AB recorded the whole incident and now they dig themselves an even deeper hole.
@@davidtodd988 The search record is to record the fact they searched someone (in this case AB). It has nothing to do work the alleged wanted person. Searches are supposed to be recorded, regardless of the outcome of the search, but police often fail to comply.
and they probably get away with it with the naive unsuspecting law-abiding public.

We need to ensure our 'common law rights' which are universal
'Human rights' is another scam as they deem 'human' to mean 'a monster' not able to own anything (Black's law Dictionary)
I am the public and I am interested :-) Especially in police abuse of authority
So the cops don't want to even deal with people in open nicks anymore ? what's the point with having a nick then ?
Somewhere to keep warm and watch TV I guess.
Completely pointless
Somewhere to hide in when AB comes back at 2pm and they dont want to talk to him.
Those four officers aww probably hiding upstairs in the building behind these two officers👊
So after this crazy unlawful search, they want AB to meet w/ the officers who blatantly violated his rights?!!! 😖 🤤🕵️👮🏻🤤
I've a feeling they'll be trying to avoid any sort of meeting as they know they F'd up big time.
Credit to that young officer who really tried yo help you out AB! The other two didnt really want to help but the young man was great and very polite
The rest of them will put him straight as time goes on.
They young guy was trying to help to be fair. But I'd say when he was inside they told him not to help you.😢..
Damn why am I not surprised, police falling over themselves with excuses, nothing new
The woman on the desk epitomises the police. She was friendly enough I suppose, but really didn't give a sh*t. She knew full well that you were going to take legal action against her employer, and she didn't care. They don't care because the compo comes straight from the taxpayer, and there are no consequences for them.
Meanwhile we're left to pay increasingly higher tax for a piss poor police service
Its not like the tax money goes into the police back pockets.
Its distributed between all emergency services.

You’re always accusing officers of being rude , and in most cases rightly so , but this time u were rude , pot - kettle , ….. again I like what u do , but sometimes you’re wrong !!
Don't agree wth you . Some times you need to stand up for what you belive in . The police were very wrong . So now we can't look at the police woth out being searched .
Police have no incentive to act in honour as we're forced to tolerate them under threats of, and actual acts of, violence.
This, sadly, lays bare how rotten and corrupt British police are these days. They originally called you over to their car asking if they could help. Then spent half an hour utterly refusing to help.
The line of can we help is police for what are you doing citizen explain yourself. No real care to the public just expecting automatic compliance.
I don’t want to sound like a Karen but this is absolutely disgusting. The detaining officer or officers have obviously not documented the search and tried to pass it off as you weren’t the person they were looking for so nothing is needed. Horrendous behaviour, get em AB 💪🏽
Constables NOT officers !
Looking forward to seeing part 3, these muppets definetely should not get off with abusing their powers, keep up the good work AB, it just lets us all see how ridiculous our police force can be 👏👏
This is how its done. Make them sweat . Let them work for the money we pay them. Also let them correct these officers that abused there power. Well done buddy for standing your ground.

The fact she could have just said "no worries sir, I see whats gone wrong here, I will email the officer involved and get him to create a search record relating to this incident and you can come back and collect it if you wish" just shows how incompetent and corrupt these people are

Any compensation should come out of the officer’s wages that mess up and abuse the law. That would make them think twice about abusing people’s rights. When we the tax payer have to pay for their stupidity, they will never learn.
Any cop guilty of misconduct should be stripped of their pensions, funds given to the victims of their misdemeanors

@@rumple7551not when your superiors are encouraging this behaviour. They think they’re the good guys, so bending the rules is okay.
They are always 'looking for someone' when they want to get your information, or 'you are acting suspiciously'.
All bullshit!
Definitely agree 👍
Only searched him to see if he had identification on him to get his details.
Abusing search powers to infringe your right to privacy
This is outrageous. They’re making it so difficult to get something that they’re legally required to give you. They’re also making it impossible to get what you’re entitled to without providing personal information that you’re not obliged to provide. Not only are they wasting your time, but they’re also wasting public resources by making it such a long winded process that wastes the time of multiple constables/ police staff (and still you didn’t get your record!). One thing the police are good at is being inefficient. If they can’t provide a search record on the spot, they need an organised system in place so people don’t have to keep going through this rigmarole.
All government bodies excel at being inefficient. The only meaningful thing they produce is waste.
They must be very bored most of the time. If there is a traffic accident, suddenly there are about 10 policemen and 6 or 7 cars attending.
And can we have some more money please.
Do you ever get the feeling they don’t want you to proceed with the claim, everything put in the way to block it, so where is the search record or are the police now just ignoring any official paperwork. Good video AB.👏👏
Luckily AB doesn’t need the search record to make a claim, however, their failure to record the search won’t work in their favour.
part of the plan
That just adds up to the claim.
They are digging their own grave.
The young man who went to find the information for you was a credit to the police force
Yes a good dude
Yes, credit where credit’s due, he was the only helpful one in this video. He actually went out of his way to try to find a resolution and even apologised.
Look again
He started off ok. But when AB came back at 2pm and the cop that searched him did not want to speak to AB he was more than happy to lie to AB and pretend he wasn't there and wouldnt be coming in at all (even though he was due to).
Na, he knew it was an auditor, he said he recognised his voice, he wanted to throw his older colleagues under the bus
A shining example of a newly trained officer. Looks about 12 stood with hands in pockets. National service needed I think. Today's police force, complete waste of space.
National service will only send them off to bomb people out of their homes and cause a further influx of immigrants. Just get him cleaning toilets.

The kid super de-escalated the situation. Good work.
The young officer actually actually seemed to care and want to help..
Yeah but I'd say when he went inside the others told him not to help

As long as the police officer decides to write one in the first place instead of pretending it never happened
They have to supply it when asked for it. There is no incident number and ne record becouse there was no one they were looking for.

Well, that's one way of hiding an unlawful search. Pretend it never happened.Lucky you had a camera switched on
you are entitled to a search record, it should be a crime when the police refuse to give you one, they deliberately try to make it as difficult as they can for you to obtain one, they should be charged with obstruction or perverting the course of justice or something, the fact that they can just refuse to give you one suggests to me that we are NOT entitled to a search record at all, if we were entitled they should have to hand it over there and then, not send you across the country trying to track it down, that officers statement said it all and screamed volumes, BREAKING THE LAW FOR POLICE IS ENTERTAINMENT, i would defo put in a complaint and claim over this, the police just lately seem to have decided that they are completely above the law and completely above everyone else's human rights, they need to be stopped, using reasonable force if need be.
How will giving your name to these two police officers help them get the information you need as during your first encounter you did not give your name to the four police officers. Do they not have a brain cell between them, just trying to get your details.
Love it, juicy Part 2 of child clowns hopefully learning a lesson about how they shouldn't violate people's rights! 💪🏽😤🤳🏽🗽
If she cannot give you a search record based on the incudent number, that means the officers failed to generate a search record. That's a formal complaint.
Which would achieve nothing. Filed in the round cabinet, the one in the floor.
That's a civil claim.
