    For the last example “por lo tanto” isnt that also where someone would use “asi que”?

    This is good, but save yourself the trouble of trying to find the PDF on this. It involves signing up and then winding up on a web site - no lo PDF to be found.

    I thought I was good with lo but I'd never even used it once to mean 'that'. Thanks as always Andrew

      Yes, it can be a tricky word and appears in lots of different contexts. We don’t have to translate it as “that” but I think it’s useful to think of it this way.

    careful with your pronunciation of mismo, you are defaulting back to the gringo pronunciation (mizmo)

      Check out my video on this very topic. “Mizmo” with a z sounding pronunciation is perfectly acceptable and common in Spanish.

      Pronunciation really depends on the region. My fiancé and her family don’t even pronounce the s so it becomes “mimo”
