I buy almost 80% of all our grocery budget from Azure. I got rid of our Costco membership a couple of years ago. Buying in bulk from Azure keep me out of the store which in the long run saves a ton of money. Totally agree with supporting businesses that share ones values.
I’m so glad you did an updated Azure video. Your “Top 10” video was actually how I first found your channel and first found Azure Standard. I’ve been buying from them ever since and love the company and their products!
Azure quality is higher, prices are lower than box stores and the major online store. I'm sticking with Azure. My health has greatly improved since I started with Azure.
Excellent video, Kelli! Happy to see a lot of your favorites are some of our regular purchases. You've inspired us to stay away from the mega-grocery chains whenever possible. 😇
Just the same as you use vinegar for hair conditioner, I use white vinegar as my fabric softener in the wash. So far it has worked well for me. I use vinegar, baking soda, and citric acid for all of my cleaning and just add essential oils when I want any scent. I love the lack of chemicals in cleaning my home now.
@@ScottandKelli I use it in a cycle with no dishes to clean my dishwasher, will work in the washing machine to. I will heat water and dissolve it in the hot water and it to my homemade all purpose cleaner, bathroom cleaner, etc. I do not use it in my glass cleaner or on my granite countertops. I hope this helps you
Love your video! Love Azure! We buy almost everything from Azure. I buy the Portlandia ketchup in the large box as well! Before buying it the first time, I talked to the company and they said you do not need to refrigerate the box after opening it because of the vinegar in it.
Azure Standard has been such a blessing to our family and has dramatically decreased how much we spend at Costco. I think I actually spend less overall since I'm only in Costco maybe once a month instead of weekly or bi-weekly, You may want to give apple scrap vinegar a try. It's really easy to make, will cut down on costs, helps get another product out of the food you are already purchasing and is another home ferment in your repertoire. I just save my apple cores and scraps in the freezer until I have enough to do a large batch. I do still keep a smaller amount of apple cider vinegar from Azure Standard around too.
😊Thank you for sharing. I love that you have hauls and there are two of you. It is hard for me to watch some because they are just too big for two of us. That being said we do buy in bulk because we do want a great product at a great price.
I too buy almost all my groceries from Azure now. It’s just me but I do stock ahead so mostly I buy 5 lb sizes but a few 25lb for long term. BTW they are carrying Cocao now. I just ordered a pound today, (I have a 5 lb in next months but right now they are out) they do run out a lot (20 left now and my cut off is today so not sure I’ll get it).
I love how you store all of your pantry goods! Where do you get all of your glass containers? Also, did you slowly build it up or just get it all in one shot? I want to reorganize my pantry with all my azure goods in glass containers like that but I don’t even know how or where to start.
Hi Mrs. Nogueria, I definitely slowly built up our pantry. I started out getting them 50% off from Hobby Lobby, then I started finding them at auctions, flea markets, thrift stores, and yard sales (for much cheaper and usually more unique and pretty!) Most states have an online auction website called hi bid and then you can put your zip code in and find online auctions near you! And if anyone ever asks you what you want for Birthday/Christmas, glass jars are a great idea to give them, some of my favorite jars were gifts! Also, I did a video on how I started my bulk food pantry ( ua-cam.com/video/uAKS2w4xrkk/v-deo.html ) and I go into much more detail here! And invite God into this journey of building your bulk food pantry! It was so fun to see all the way he provided not only the jars, but the shelves, the food, etc. God bless you and would love to hear how it goes for you!
Also, plan on making a video on this, I've had a lot of questions about growing hair my hair out! When I get home, I'll comment again the 3 shampoo brands I rotate between.
With that grinder that you got, is it really loud? I have a grinder (that’s getting older, so I’m looking around for a replacement) and it is overwhelmingly loud! Is yours fairly quiet? I mean, compared to a blender or something like that?
Hi Hannah! It is definitely loud. I'll do an updated video soon, a full review on the grinder we got. I love it, but there are some cons... it is loud, and because it's open, it does it flour dust on everything around it. I still love it, but there are some things to be aware of compared to other options out there!!
Good info Kelli! I’m curious about how you store the peanuts when you buy a 30# box? I have been thinking of making our own peanut butter but I can only do a little at a time. That being said, hearing you share what the farmer told you about the chemicals they soak up, really struck a cord with me. I know that to be true with other food but never connected the dots with the peanut butter. 😏Anyway, I’m thinking the box could be packed into smaller sizes with oxygen absorbers. Or, maybe in a 5 gal bucket etc. Anyway, would love to hear how you’re storing the peanuts. Thank you!
Hi Cheryl, I’m not sure how Kelli stores hers. But I heard a long term prepper say he vacuum seals his nuts and opened them 4-5 years and they were not rancid. He said oil needs air to spoil.. I don’t know if he’s right but worth researching. I keep my walnuts and pecans in the fridge and they are past their best by dates and still good. Also vacuum seal and freezing works too. I’m crazy for peanuts so I don’t need them to last years but hope this helps.
@@zoieangel1234 thank you so much for sharing your experience. I do t think we’d go through them as quickly as some but the price point is better for the larger option if they can be stored safely. I don’t freeze peanuts but I have put walnuts in the freezer often without issue. Have a great evening!
I haven’t commented on your videos lately but I was wondering if you’re planning on getting a freeze dryer? I know they’re expensive but might be good if you were still growing your own food
Hi Emma Louise, we have a family member who has one, so thats a huge blessing to us! They are amazing and yes definitely pricey but can totally see the worth!
I am still waiting on my refund. They said it will take 30 days. It's only around $30. After my order has been finalized n invoice came in, I didn't know just one click this item would be added to my order. Since there was no other additional steps I didn't know it was added to my order. No invoice came in so I didn't have a clue that it was added. It was few days before the shipping out and money wasn't taken out from my bank yet but they still refused to delete the item. So I had to return the item. Azure customer service sucks!
When you said you buy from Azure because they have your values which are against social justice, do you mean that Azure stands against human rights and freedom for all? I was really interested in shopping with them, but that's a deal breaker for me.
Social Justice today has a different meaning than human rights. The founder -before their huge fire-had housing for employees and often hired people who needed a step up. I think OP meant "values" akin to Christianity since the founder is a Christian.
I hope the good Lord blesses yall with children. I would enjoy very much if you took us on that journey with you!! Seeing how you manage your homemaking things with raising a child. It took me well... a long time lets say, just to start my Sourdough starter with baby 🤭 its definitely challenging trying to find a new balance. Where does Scott work i wonder
Coming up on my first year anniversary shopping with Azure and LOVE IT. I no longer shop at grocery stores! Now that we're raising our own meats, Azure just makes since for my family. Eating healthy isn't a diet, but a lifestyle!

That's wonderful! It really is a blessing that they offer so much, so we have the ability to get out of these big box grocery stores!
I did azure for the first time this month. Was very nice. But some things are a lot cheaper at Costco so I’ll still shop there.
For those who quick costco where do y'all get toliet paper now? This is my one thing I prefer from Costco but ready to leave!
