wondering why eagle dynamics didn't include these details in the L16 of their Viper :') this is too helpful for SA and it gives much in depth infos ! very informative video, thanks chief
4:39 -I think Donor PPLI is implemented in the current version, per the training manual page 290.- Edit: I misheard you, you were saying they are supposed to donate their radar contacts to you. This is indeed not implemented. My bad for not waiting for the morning coffee to kick in.
@@Scotters1000 You still need to understand bulls eye Link 16 just gives you a location of a contact. If a bulls eye is called there is no automatic bulls eye coordination you need to know how to interpret bullseye.
@@AviationPlus Sorry bad english, I mean I don't see it. Im fragging a package and I do the clickdance. Everyting seems to work with the link 16 but when I look at my wingman I don't see the cirkle or the number.
Very good tuto as every time, please speek a bit slower . I am french people and understand very well but sometinmes I have to listen twice . Thanks for us.😉
Does link 16 truly help you with situational awareness?
Quite a lot
Game changer for us trying to learn how to improve SA
It can also give you false sense of SA being that the Link 16 is not perfect, doesn't show everything and tends to be delayed.
Don't forget to confirm with multiple mode 4 only iff interrogations
Very good quick tutorial, thank you!
Thanks mate!
This is what I needed to fully understand BMS Link 16.
Its totally different story than DCS x).
Cheers once again.
In DCS it seems to be just magic.
another great video, thanks AP
I was making fun of people who were saying that it would never be in the game, even in a way DCS did it because it's too secret, like 3 years ago

Not sure
good work, Prime.

Hi all. Can somebody explain to me what “Correlated to Onoard” means? What is the difference with “Correlated to Offboard”? Thanks in advance
4 Missiles ans 2 Seaker ? Thanks for the quick brief and the long DMS down didn't know that one
This really helps. So I don't think that I need to calculate where enemies are in relation to Bullseye, right? Link 16 does that for us.

09:58 I don't get the cirkle with the number on top when looking at my wingman or element using HMD?
I explained it at that time stamp. The number on top is their position in the flight.

@@ortbrant77 Is your HMD on?
@@AviationPlus Yes
@@ortbrant77 If it works on your HSD then it should work on your helmet nothing really to do it "bring" it up it's just there

Check for “playback speed” options in your YT app/client. HTH.
Thanks for the feedback. Need to speak a little slower.
