@@BryanMartin-o6g that is a very kind thing you did brother!! That speaks volumes about the kind of person you are! And as far as your kayak goes the limitations on what you can do is really up to you. My advice would be take it out bare bones and see how stable it is and what works best for you when you are fishing or whatever you want to use it for. I have some older videos on fixing up an older kayak that may help you out some. I am also really looking forward to seeing your videos on fixing up your boat you may help me learn a few things!!!

Yeah that’s a pretty good one especially when you’re like me and lose lures in structure so much and the Bobby Garland ones are 4 to 6 bucks a bag unless you get lucky and catch them on clearance!

@@BryanMartin-o6g technically you don’t have to have it in water because it’s air cooled but I always put it in water to keep the lower end cool while you run it. Just don’t run it over half throttle for the first couple of hours and then you’ll be fine. It actually details how long to run it in the paperwork or it did in mine. But I ran mine at half throttle for the first two hours and it has been running fine since. Thank you so very much for watching and commenting! Man I was in Va & N.C. Right after and it was unreal all the workers there and heart broken 💔 seeing just what little I was able to see, which was very minimal because they wouldn’t let any traffic through most of the areas. @@jaybyrdsshenanigans, Sears was GREAT in its hayday, they sold EVERYTHING ! My neighbor had an old Sears runabout. Don't know who made it but Sears stamped their name on it. I paid $115 for my little outboard, because it was a closeout, that was one paycheck.

@@markkobuck693 there’s really no information on the prop in the manual…..if you can call it that! Lol I took it to a local boat shop and they told me it was the same as a Suzuki 3 horsepower propeller. The one that came on it was actually plastic and the Suzuki one that I bought is metal. That was a good score you made on selling yours!!! Thanks for watching and commenting I really appreciate it.

Awesome thanks for sharing 👍 I had saw a guy on UA-cam who used pvc as well and it turned out great too. Grease monkey bass fishing I think it was. I happened upon the ones I got looking at the new pelican stand and cast seats and figured why not! Lol thanks for watching and commenting brother I really appreciate it.

@@jaybyrdsshenanigans Yea I would've probably bought these if I had seen them at the time I modified my chair. I raised my chair about 5" higher than what it was. It made a world of difference when it came to fishing and being able to sight see fishing.

And what I don’t understand is this guy is the only seller on eBay or anywhere that I could find that sells them for the catch 110! You would figure that there would be at least a couple more people that makes and sells these.

@@jaybyrdsshenanigans Probably because of supply and demand. Most people will purchase these kayaks as an entry level starter kayak and then will upgrade to a higher end kayak in a year or two. I myself am one of the people that is wanting to upgrade to a higher end kayak that is more stable for me to stand and fish.

@GearHeadMoto if you watch my buddy Travis he swears by the old town he has and I’ve seen some reasonably priced used ones but I would not personally buy a new one because I’m a cheapskate 🤣🤣🤣
