So far I'm very happy with it.

The foil will help with cavitation of the prop. Way back when ; many moons ago. Outboards ran normally on 25:1 oil gas mix. Motors have improved over the years and EPA requirements demand 50:1 on 2 stroke engines. The Chinese are good at copying whatever. Why spend money to design, just copy; seems to be the China way of life. I have thought about getting one myself to use with my dads old aluminum jon boat for fishing on the lake. The reason why Hangkai uses these HP numbers, it's because it keeps them below the radar of copyrighted materials from major brands. If you contact a dealer, or Hangkai directly, they will never admit to it, otherwise they get into legal trouble. Good for us since they are so cheap to get.
