@puppygxtz So? They have the most selection of dresses in America. And, with a budget of $15,000, the bride could have gotten almost any dress in the store. Therefore, if there is a dress available for her that is not custom, it probably she will not like it. If Kleinfeld doesn't have it, it probably doesn't exist. She needs to go to a private designer and make her own dress. Therefore, if she doesn't like it once it is finished, it is on her.
@@catladyfromky4142 very much not true, the dress I want isn’t at Kleinfeld, Kleinfeld doesn’t have everything you seem to think it does. For example, people who like the dresses on SYTTD Lancanshire probably wouldn’t like a lot of the ones at Kleinfeld as they’re completely different styles
Most wedding dresses can be bought in the moment and under 1,000 but at kleinfelds the minimum they expect you to spend is like 2,000 and you have to wait months for a dress. Not to mention the fact that they barely have anything coloured, if you want a black or pink wedding dress or something you'd need to go somewhere else
Dear Bride-to-Be, If you look back at your wedding photos in 20 years and regret the dress, there's something else at work. Look back and see where your story began. Who you were then. I think that high budget is why she had trouble finding a dress. A bride could probably find *tons* of beautiful dresses up to $15K. Imagine the inventory available to you if your budget was "up to $15,000"! How do you choose, when you have these lovely dresses and you look very good in so many of them. Plus, at that price point, you might start wondering "this dress is $10K, and I really like it, but could I do better, for that much money (or a little more money)? Is it really good enough for a $10K dress?" By comparison, if you only have $800 to spend, you are probably just happy to find a dress that looks fabulous on you for $800. I doubt you're going to say "But I need more bling/drama/whatever". JMHO

Like everyone else here, I feel like the first dress and third dress would've been amazing on her (or a mix of both like the consultant suggested), much better than what she ended up buying at the other salon. But we have to remember that ultimately, it's not always about looking beautiful, sometimes, it's about feeling more comfortable. Maybe that's why she ended up choosing that other one. Either way, I just hope she didn't have any regrets!
@@Mzd455 the sales people are just going their job. No one's time is wasted. I bet for every bride who is so picky there'll be 20 who choose on dress no.2 or 3. And if they've decided to film her for the show...the shop makes money. What drama will there be otherwise?
She was worried that the modern style wouldn't be "timeless" enough and would date her, but the dress she chose will FOR SURE date her, that style is not timeless at all??
I absolutely loved her brunette friend - so sassy. I fell off my chair laughing when she said "No I think you could wear it year after year for sure." Also, was it me or did the dress she ended up in look nothing like what she asked for? Looks like a sheath dress with little peplum wings on the hips....
The bride is indecisive because she is addicted to the process of wedding dress shopping. Going to beautiful stores, getting compliments and attention from family and sales ppl. She's prolonging the process because it's fun for her to be the center of attention
Seriously, it would save her time and hassle. I bought a basic white, off shoulder dress and since I sew, I added my own embellishments. All together I spent about $390, people thought I spent a few grand.
I asked my dressmaker for long sleeves, mandarin collar, small split in neckline, peplum, pencil skirt to just below the knee. Dark navy blue. I gave her the brief 15 days before the wedding because I am (clearly) not like these brides to be. I had one fitting. It fitted perfectly. I had a pair of high heeled shoes covered in same fabric. I had an exact copy made in a deep ruby red for my attendant. No one saw the outfits until the day of the wedding and everyone went bonkers, in a good way. My bouquet was a bunch of red Anthuriums and my attendant’s was white Anthuriums. Done and dusted. I’ve always known what I like since was little. These Yes to the dress shows always amaze me with the family dynamics and personality clashes. But Randy knows his stuff. He’s a trooper.
I’m glad she didn’t say yes on the spot because she’s every business owners nightmare, wants something custom, owner starts making said custom item then suddenly they don’t want it anymore & don’t wanna pay for it either even though the item was custom for them.
That’s not really a custom dress. Custom dress is they take every measurement needed and they will design a dress for you, which you pay upfront when you order one. Then they have some standard designs or can custom design a dress which is original with fabric that doesn’t exist on off the rack dresses. Not just combining just two dresses of a top part and bottom part of off the rack dresses using retail patterns…
Those dresses were made for her! She looked stunning in all 3 but my favorite was the last one she tried on. She picked a dress she was most comfortable in I guess and really all that matters is that she loved it and was confident in her wedding dress.
Does it look dated? It's a strapless mermaid, woman. Seriously, a strapless mermaid is a strapless mermaid is a strapless mermaid. Just pick one, and even at $12k you too will look like every other bride choosing a strapless mermaid.
I'm going to say now before I have seen all of the video, that this bride does not appear willing to actually PURCHASE a dress. She just likes SHOPPING for a dress. If I ran a place like Kleinfeld's I would instruct my staff that when a bride comes in and has tried on this many dresses, they need to not waste a lot of time on her. She probably just wants to try on some more dresses.
I don’t like any of them. The strapless and mermaid style look unflattering because it looks so tight and uncomfortable to walk in. The strapless draws too much attention to the large mole on her chest. Why not try a whole different style?
Personally I think the mole on her chest is cute! It’s just a beauty mark, it’s nothing to be ashamed of or hide:) and if she feels confident showing her mole, all the power to her!
This is a bridezilla. Her companions said they have gone to 7-8 bridal shops BEFORE this one. If she has that much money, why not just get it custom made at an actual designer instead of wasting everybody's time doing all these dress fittings?
I just LOVED that 2nd dress, it looked perfect on her! Much more beautiful than the 3rd the discussed. I like Christiane very much. She seems so kind, bright, humble and solution oriented. No fuss.
I think after over a hundred mermaids it was time to try a different silhouette! None of them caught her fancy, but maybe a ballgown or A-line would. Try stepping out of the box!
It sounded like among the hundred, she had tried all the styles and settled on mermaid as her favorite to me....and then she went with a sheath with a peplum.....😐
Wow that was a tough beautiful bride! Her family so supportive and her saleswoman so very patient. I love this show this particular one had quite a twist. The bride is blessed beyond measure to have such awesome loving family and friends in her life.
I watched this show as a kid thinking 15k for a dress was acceptible, now years later in my 20's it's a crazy amount. The UK version of this show does a way better job!
No it doesn't. The bride gives a budget of 2I and they'll ultimately put her in something twice her budget and make her stretch of leave disappointed, and they use the same dresses over and over....unless you mean the Gok version. He always does a great job!
First dress perfect Second dress curtains Third dress divine Said yes to a dress that was nondescript on her. Is That the timelessness she was seeking?
Bride: Do you think that this will date itself though ……. Friend: No I think you can wear it year after year for sure. At every wedding We all need a friend like this. Lol
Sometimes it really get hard to choose for the person who want lots of perfection and want a dress which exactly match the expectations that they have set in there mind 😅 Btw she looked beautiful ❤️
I think that maybe because she went in with such a huge budget, they only showed her dresses near the top of her price range - which means designs with lots of sparkle, appliques, and glam. She might have wanted something simple all along, but wasn't being shown those styles because they're cheaper. Consultants aren't going to pull a 3k dress for someone with a 15k budget, even if it's the perfect one.
"Do you think this will date it?" Sorry to disappoint you, but no matter what dress you get it'll be dated in some way. You never know what features will stay in fashion and which will go out. Maybe when you are in your elderly years that geometric look is still in style but the whole mermaid style silhouette is completely outdated. You aren't getting a dress to wear the rest of your life, you're getting a dress to wear now for one day. Wear that you like now and don't worry about if it'll be in style in 30-50 years from now...
And to further your point, it seems so common now for women, especially well to do women (for the most part), to have the lavish wedding gown, plus another totally different dress for the reception !😱 Can you imagine dropping $15k for an amazing gown, then God knows how much else for another dress for the rest of the evening???😱 God bless anyone who can spend money like that, but it doesn’t mean they always have to🤷🏻♀️🤣

Her friends are annoyed they had to go to a million stores, and my friends were mad that I found my dress at the first store I went to with only my mom "just to look" 😂 And then my best friend did the same thing to me - she went "just to look" and got her dress without me there 😢
Heather Eagle I went to a local evening & bridal shop by myself. Found my dress, tried it on and it was timelessly gorgeous. Bought it that same evening. Never once regretted buying the 'only' wedding dress I tried on. Maybe I was just lucky but that dress was truly made for me.
Omg all to go to yet ANOTHER shop and finally say yes to a crap dress, when she could've customized her own!?! She wanted to play dress up and isn't ready to get married 100%.
That's what I thought too, i mean come on, the wedding is in Paris, the capitol of fashion, she could have had any dress she wanted. And when she said i need to think about this dress overnight i was like: girl i bet you didn't take too long to say yes to the proposal and now you want to think overnight about a dress that you could have it customized to your liking considering the budget that you put for it. The problem is not the dress, it is you are not 100% sure about the whole marriage

I talked to a jeweler one time, he told me this story about a bride who was designing a ring, she kept changing it because it wasn't perfect. The marriage didn't last, the husband wanted to sell the ring back to the jeweler.
I always hate the question "is this going to date itself" because no matter how hard you try, every style will date itself eventually. Maybe not if we're talking about silhouette (ballgowns have been around forever and I don't see them getting old anytime soon) but when you get as specific as beading, it'll always age and that's not a bad thing.
I think this bride is nothing more than an attention seeker! Her mother and friends were lovely! I don’t think I would have handled her indecisiveness (through that many stores, over that amount of time), as graciously as did her entourage!

That's what I was thinking. She can have anything she wants so it is harder to make a decision. Then I'm like - it's not that big of a deal, just get one. But the dress her friends all liked should have been the one.
@@michelebrown9923 she is obviously a perfectionist, with maybe a little OCD on the side? I’m not an expert, of course!🤣
She obviously loves the finer things… everything has to be “just so”….
All that said, when you have one shot at achieving what you want (the kind of wedding, dress, etc), and you have the funds to make it happen, you’ll drive yourself nuts, lol!
I agree, I would expect an amount of happiness from something that costs 15.000$ that a dress could never offer
She got a dress at the end they show it. I will say I do agree with you 100% though
They should have asked her whatbherbdream dress lookes like! That way theybhave an idea what she wants.
She was not a type for mermaid dresses her waist is small.
Hats of to everyone who works at Kleinfeld’s for their patience
At another salon? That customized dress would have looks way better than the one she got
Interesting how she sent the show a picture of her in her final choice….
They must have asked her to…
Still, it Seems a bit pretentious that she did….
Thoughts??
@@electraking8856 The show definitely asked her to. It's not the first time that has happened. The audience (like me) just wants to know what dress she eventually chose, we do not care if she got it from Kleinfield's or not hahaha.
@@mumu87 oh, agree totally!
This is the first Ep I watched where that happened, but I am glad they do that follow up! Would love to see those dresses… I’m totally here for it😄👍🏻
I haven’t really seen anything here, but has a follow up special ever been done about the couples from the show?
THATis something we would NEED to see!
That is what I was thinking
Absolutely! The Kleinfeld gown would have been gorgeous!
She talks about the first dress being "too trendy"?! Mermaid dresses ARE trendy
“We’ll go for drinks.” Love you, Mom.
BEST COMMENT!!😄👍🏻
This girl is just loving the attention and her entourage should stop going to appointments with her. Boundaries, people, boundaries. This is ridiculous.
If you can’t find a dress at Kleinfeld’s , there is something wrong.
not at all, so many of Kleinfeld’s dresses are tacky and overdone, it’s 100% not for everyone
For example, people who like the dresses on SYTTD Lancanshire probably wouldn’t like a lot of the ones at Kleinfeld as they’re completely different styles
yea, with their stock!
If I were to remarry my husband today, I wouldn't wear the original dress because I'm not who I was then. But I loved my dress then. It's perfectly okay to change as you age.
That is amazingly said!
While I don't like mermaid style, I liked the geometric pattern of that dress. If it was a ball gown it'd be a winner for me
I really don’t like mermaid either.
Same I don't like mermaid style 😅
Or a simple A-line with that geometric pattern top...
@@sandisteinberg731 I think it would work if it flowed into the skirt as well. I find those patters are really good for summer weddings.
@@MsJubjubbird I too, prefer dresses that aren't two parts--top and bottom--sewn together.
To me they're more graceful and figure flattering.
Her friend is total MOOD LOL. And the dress she got at another salon wasn't half as pretty as the first or third individually, much less combined! But happy she got one! Omg.
those bridesmaid deserve combat pay. is it just me, or does anyone wish she would say yes to mole removal? that big one just above the breast line was horribly distracting. once noticed, I couldn't stop looking at it.
with that budget why didn’t she just get a custom made dress instead of trying on 100+ dresses
BUT to make it custom you need to know what you want. She clearly did not.
15,000 is a massive budget surprised she hasn’t found one yet
JMHO
she is spoiled...
@@vc5385 she definitely has a love for the finer things in life👍🏻👍🏻
@@vc5385How is she spoiled? You don’t know if it’s somebody else’s money or the money she saved up for or made herself as she may have a good paying job. Not spoiled.
Nah, she is spoiled & clearly used to the finer things & life! The dress she ended up with (from elsewhere) suited her perfectly. And I am sure it cost a fortune!
When they showed the other one she chose at a different salon I was like "What? That's the one she chose?! That's so basic lol"
The dress she ended up, makes her look frumpy, it doesn't have the structure that Zunino's dresses have. It is what it is🤷🏻♀️. Kudos to her entourage for supporting the bride!!!
She will! She will probably change her mind again. Waste some more people's time. Obnoxious behavior
@@Mzd455 I found her FB. Looks like she got married in it and has had a child since then.
@@Mzd455 the sales people are just going their job. No one's time is wasted. I bet for every bride who is so picky there'll be 20 who choose on dress no.2 or 3. And if they've decided to film her for the show...the shop makes money. What drama will there be otherwise?
I noticed she kept pulling the dresses up at the top. Maybe she didn't really feel comfortable in that style.
So she didn't like the geometric pattern bc it was "too trendy" and ended up getting something with *PEPLUM?*
Looked red carpet to me not bridal
Peplum isn't trendy. It hasn't been fashionable since the 1940s.
That was my first thought. I can't get past the hideous peplum.
The worst, I am so confused 😩
@@joralemonvirgincreche it was around for a couple seasons a few years ago but I agree it wasn't fashionable
$15,000 on a freaking dress! That is insane. There is no way I could spend that amount of money on a dress that I am only going to wear once
😍 Loved that first dress. It was unique with the pattern. But honestly, nobody but the bride will remember the dress in a few years time.
She was worried that the modern style wouldn't be "timeless" enough and would date her, but the dress she chose will FOR SURE date her, that style is not timeless at all??
I love the mom’s answer about going for drinks. My kind of mom!😂🥃🍸🍷
The first dress was GORGEOUS 😱
I absolutely loved her brunette friend - so sassy. I fell off my chair laughing when she said "No I think you could wear it year after year for sure." Also, was it me or did the dress she ended up in look nothing like what she asked for? Looks like a sheath dress with little peplum wings on the hips....
The bride is indecisive because she is addicted to the process of wedding dress shopping. Going to beautiful stores, getting compliments and attention from family and sales ppl. She's prolonging the process because it's fun for her to be the center of attention
Sometimes I wonder if these girls are actually asked to come in by the store, just so the store can have an opportunity to show these $10,000+ gowns!!
Maybe, good point.
And all the family and friends just want to be in their advertising video? I don't think so!
You can find the pictures of the wedding online, she looks amazing! The dress up close is INCREDIBLE
Can you give her id
where tho
I live in Vancouver and I’ve met her many times before..she works super hard and so does her husband..
She needs to just design her dress and have it made...
Yes, absolutely! I did just that, because I knew that I would not have been able to find exactly what I had envisioned.
For 15k , she absolutely should
Seriously, it would save her time and hassle.
Ridiculous…the first dress was the prettiest dress.
I’m glad she didn’t say yes on the spot because she’s every business owners nightmare, wants something custom, owner starts making said custom item then suddenly they don’t want it anymore & don’t wanna pay for it either even though the item was custom for them.
Not true
😂😂😂
Right? She is going to look super dated in the one she finally chose, it did her no favors.
Yes! I tired of the strapless wedding dress about 20 years ago!
Strapless mermaid is pretty timeless, It’s been popular since like 10 years for a reason
to end up in a peplum dress #confused😖
I agree about the mole. If I could afford 10k for a dress, I’d have that removed ( both for cosmetic and medical reasons).
Oh, I thought that was a pendant.
Personally I think the mole on her chest is cute! It’s just a beauty mark, it’s nothing to be ashamed of or hide:) and if she feels confident showing her mole, all the power to her!
Totally agree! Why not spend some that money and have the mole removed? Also, what could be more uncomfortable than a strapless mermaid dress?
@@cynthiasnyder1561 Why should she? This is what actual confidence in your body looks like.
She seems like she’s recognizing her friends feelings about it all and she’s very nice and pretty
This is a bridezilla. Her companions said they have gone to 7-8 bridal shops BEFORE this one. If she has that much money, why not just get it custom made at an actual designer instead of wasting everybody's time doing all these dress fittings?
$15,000 and you haven’t found a dress. Oh boy this is a tough client
Seems like possibly she didn't really have a 15k budget to spend
@@athenaemmanouilidis1291 I didn't think about that. Ir could've all just been talk!

I think that maybe because she went in with such a huge budget, they only showed her dresses near the top of her price range - which means designs with lots of sparkle, appliques, and glam. She might have wanted something simple all along, but wasn't being shown those styles because they're cheaper. "Do you think this will date it?"
Sorry to disappoint you, but no matter what dress you get it'll be dated in some way.
And to further your point, it seems so common now for women, especially well to do women (for the most part), to have the lavish wedding gown, plus another totally different dress for the reception !😱
Can you imagine dropping $15k for an amazing gown, then God knows how much else for another dress for the rest of the evening???😱
God bless anyone who can spend money like that, but it doesn’t mean they always have to🤷🏻♀️🤣
@@electraking8856 really if you look back over the decades, that geometric thing surfaces frequently. plus if she wanted to recycle, cut short and have the embellishments refinished, it would be fabulous cocktail dress, evening party dress, etc if it is silk, it could be dyed. she is crazy girl. other comments said she went with a Peplum! seen peplum 2x in my lifetime and once before I was born in '56! whaaa haa haa talk about obvious outdated look. dont last the time test. peplum popular with old church ladies. whaaa haa haa

I love the answer the friend gave to that. It will be still gorgeous when you wear it next year and the next year and for all your marriages.
I would typically say “she should get it custom designed” but imagine how awful that would be for the seamstress. Ugh.
The cost of travel to try on dresses far exceeds the cost of the dress. After 30 I would say, you’re on your own. Gheez.
From the look of things, she can definitely afford it, but it only makes things more complicated once you’ve tried on an insane amount such as she did….
Other than taking pics with the phone, how would you remember them all?!??

Spending so much money on the wedding dress...it's plainly stupid
her friends have the patience of Job, my gosh.
How to get rid of irritating entourage
Step 1: try a dress
Step 2: try a hundred more
Step 3: be picky and reject the 100th one.😑😑😑
I don’t understand ppl like this..like the amount of money you spent traveling for a dress because ur “picky” you could’ve easily found a designer in ur state and have a custom made dress for u..but i guess she just wants the attention
The dress she chose looked frumpy, I think the first dress looked so flawless on her.
The secret weapon, for the most part, is an amazingly talented seamstress….
They can work any kind of magic you want, and need…
Wow... I'm honestly shocked. What they were designing for her was going to be way more gorgeous than the one she chose. I really feel the skirt thing around her hips on the one she chose just doesn't flatter her. I'm disappointed too. But That's just my opinion. As long as she loved it. I just hope she doesn't look back on the pictures and this episode and wish she had gone with the one they were going to custom make for her.
On her wedding day: did she have to constantly pull up the whole dress, because of the decolleteé?
Why does anyone notice the tops on all 3 were too big
Why do brides drag their friends to every appointment? If the friends really want to be there then cool, but I think it's weird to expect them to show up to store after store.
Her friends are annoyed they had to go to a million stores, and my friends were mad that I found my dress at the first store I went to with only my mom "just to look" 😂 And then my best friend did the same thing to me - she went "just to look" and got her dress without me there 😢
I guess the answer is to just go "to look" to see what's available. My niece found hers in a regular store and it was stunning
She is always fussing with the top and pulling it up. Maybe she should go with a different top. I see her getting frustrated.
Yes. It looked like they had straps but she tucked them in and made the dress strapless. I think straps would have been so much prettier on her.
It's not about finding the perfect dress, she just never tires of hearing how great she looks in every dress.
That first dress was fashion FORWARD! Love love love ❤️
Omg all to go to yet ANOTHER shop and finally say yes to a crap dress, when she could've customized her own!?!
She wanted to play dress up and isn't ready to get married 100%.
That's the impression I got, too - that she isn't ready to get married and this is just her way of stalling the wedding.
Bride: I'm a problem solver. Me: are you sure you're not a problem creator?
i love when brides have big budgets it makes me fantasize over the different types of dresses haha
That consultant was very helpful!
What patient family and friends! Sort of ridiculous trying on so many dresses.
The girl with a bang is hilarious . CAN I CRY NOW ? . Then pretend to cry so that she could get tf out of there. Lol
Glad she found a dress she loved but I think the custom dress would have been amazing!! 🥰
At 15k it seems like she could get a custom dress made that would look exactly like what she wants.
Oh my giddy aunt. I get the feeling that she's in love with love, and romance. I talked to a jeweler one time, he told me this story about a bride who was designing a ring, she kept changing it because it wasn't perfect. The marriage didn't last, the husband wanted to sell the ring back to the jeweler.
Her friend is Eloise from bridgerton! Like literally 😂 looks, mood everything
Anything that has a wow, unique factor is not a "timeless classic'.
I don't understand the concern about it looking dated years into the future. It's current now when she is getting married.
I thought that first dress totally screamed Paris and the pattern actually made me think of the 1920s, so I have no clue what she's talking about
I think this bride is nothing more than an attention seeker! Her mother and friends were lovely!
I don’t think I would have handled her indecisiveness (through that many stores, over that amount of time), as graciously as did her entourage!
Oooooomg! I was just about to type this! This is about the attention this is not about the dress! She's not looking for a dress she just wants this attention on her to stretch out for as long as she can before her friends and family snap.....
Ugh the bodice on all of those dresses were hideous. They were not attractive at all. Way to low she needed a sweetheart neckline or something with straps. I would love to see what she finally picked
Yes! None of the dresses fit her bustline. Should we assume they could have been altered to fit?
The first dress was the best!
