Filler is Tech pod racing to help Cid with a debt. This was more semi-filler. They obviously need to get information on where Tantiss is. it would be unrealistic if they suddenly knew where it was.
Legit.
Just because an episode doesn't reveal a major plot point doesn't mean it's filler.
Agree 100%. Not sure why everyone screams filler every episode. It's like people just want the beginning and end of a story. If the season was only like 8 episodes or something then I would agree that this would be a waste of a full episode and the information could be included in a previous one, but with the amount of episodes we have this season, this one seemed fine. It did what it needed to do, and like you said, it's not like this was Tech pod racing to settle a debt.
In all of bad batch there have only been 2 filler eps.
It is filled. We do not need an entire episode dedicated to just getting rampart out. Nothing important happened in that sequence so it could’ve literally been cut in half or even shorter. There are soo many bad batch episodes that could be combined and reduce filler
Oh man I fucken hate that episode and that bitch Cid needs to be destroyed by a Death Star useless character
There was no filler in this cause fat mace ate it
LMFAO this comment is criminally underappreciated.😅😅
Agreed 💯 percent 😂
Explain
"The episode was filler because I was bored"
Welcome to Star Wars Theory
@@mrgermanvono35 Yeah I honestly watch SWT to laugh at him complain about everything, EchartsLadder is much better for actually learning something.
Lol what a trash take. When they take the time for a proper set-up, it's filler. When they don't explain how they magically get to Tantiss, it's bad writing smh
spittin fax
The Ventress episode was a filler episode, nothing happened in that one, that the audience already knew.
@@vruxdrossgaming I mean, from a certain point of view, it showed how easy it was to find the Bad Batch.
Under this logic the Ventress episode is filler because nothing was learned other than Omega is not force sensitive as of yet
Objectively subjective, the episode was another snooze fest, like many before it. Show is mostly boring writing mixed with a few great moments that keep me keeping up with it.
People should really check what a "filler episode" actually means. Filler episodes are the characters don't do anything to progress the main plot and impacts little of their character development. This is more of a "setup" episode, where the plot DOES progress, but they need to gain or do something / someone in order to get to their goal.
I think its because half this season has been "we are doing X to find Tantis/Find out what M count is." SIKE actually its just a guy who knows a guy that might know
THIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly. Thank you.
Bruh you can't just not mention in your initial synopsis that the clones found out admiral rampart might know where tantiss is and went on an epic rescue mission to get him. That was pretty darn involved
what are you and yall that likes this talking about lmao he broke the whole thing down 🤦🏽♂️🤣
@@goonmal yeah, but in his intro about it, he skipped the entire B plot.
Lol I know he said we learned nothing and it did nothing to further the plot
Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Last Crusade 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that heard that
@braydencooney this just cracks me up. I can not unhear this 😂🤣😭
C’mon man.
Definitely heard that as clear as day. Although the Juggernaut chase scene also felt more like Raiders and Last Crusade combined.
@@hungtheheroluu Yeah, maybe you're right. But honestly, I find it hilarious how Theory describes this juggernut chase scene. I can’t unhear this. 😂😂😂
I hope Crosshair gets to off Rampart after this.
I hope so
He won’t. Rampart is probably going to end up an an eventual asset to the rebellion since the empire betrayed him. Kinda like Kallus
I think Rampart will become a Rebel, either after getting a position in the Empire again or just not.
It wasn’t filler it was a good transition episode
Exactly
My only issue with this episode is that the pacing felt a bit off, but aside from that I agree. Just because it doesn't have a huge lore dump or a major reveal doesn't really qualify it as a filler episode.
it was a huge filler. They did nothing important to the storyline.
It was filler.
@@metrik12To you, getting Rampart so the batch could track down Omega is "doing nothing"?
You serious bruv?
“The Empire would’ve flattened the whole town except for of course Mace Windu” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So i guess hijacking a imperial turbo tank and breaking rampart out of imperial prison to get the location of mount tantis is considered filler now but on the other hand i get why people say that it looks like filler episode
You’re describing what happened this episode. Even filler episodes have descriptions 😂 the point is we learn nothing new. The only thing in this episode is getting rampart that could’ve been done in a couple minutes. But instead it’s stretched out
@@gavinbeard4026 it still progresses the plot, just cause u wanted more to happen doesnt make it filler
yea I think filler would be something from last season when they did a mission for someone but this actually moves the story along also I think the stormtroopers actually kind of seamed kind of cool this episode
@@jeffingtonproductions2978 I agree but with that said it moves the story by like an inch. The problem is we now have 3 episodes left if this was in the first half no problem. In fact a lot of those inch by inch missions I loved but as we get closer to the end of the show in its entirety with the past 5 episodes being inches it just makes for a frustrating watch. Especially when you have to wait a week and yet things like XMen 97 are killing it so there really isn’t an excuse
But the thing is that they didn't get the location of tantis. That is why it's called a filler
Star Wars Theory don’t have an L take challenge (impossible)
Not a filler episode. If this didnt happen and the bad batch just turned up on tantiss with no explanation, there would be questions. Though it wasnt the greatest ep and was still not as good as the rest
Bang on dude, I loved today's ep but I do understand why people were a bit meh on it.
But to say it's filler is ridiculous? Sometimes I worry that theory wants star wars to become like on of Michel bays transformers movies, big action and flashy shit with no explanation as to how it happened or how they got there...
All they did was bust rampart out. That doesn’t need a whole episode. The omega scenes are fine sure, but those can still be squeezed in with a more important storyline of the batch
@@MusicAddict971 He does. It's why he hated Andor despite it being objectively excellent.
@@Samuel2oh9 mate I have seen whole clone wars episodes devoted to C3PO and R2 getting fruit... Same with rebels.
Breaking an imperial out of a labour camp who will play a massive part as to why and how they get to tantis, is a big deal!
You say all they did was do that like it was nothing? The episode was 20 mins long dude, they needed to get a ship, get plans for an attack, go to said planet, break him out and escape? That absolutely needs a whole episode!
Especially with the omega stuff added in too! Now if they had used an episode to plan the capture, then an episode to free rampart I would understand your point. But If they had shown everything they did in 5 mins or just by dialogue or something, I would be very very pissed off myself tbh. One of the fan bases biggest gripes with the ST is that they just started chucking shit in there and barely explaining it... Yet now when a story takes a bit of time ( only a 20 min episode I might add ) and people are moaning just to get to the next action scene?
No way a FILLER.
Still liked the filler, it looked amazing. And the music in the vault is soooo good
The animation is so good and that turbotank chase was actually sick
Regardless of what you say the animation is beautiful
There’s better animation in most anime tbh.
@@HappinessPunch777most? Absolutely not.
@@HappinessPunch777 this one person that always needs to say oooh yeah uhm actually in most anime the animation is better...xD
Definitely not filler, it just feels like not much happened because we waited an entire week just to watch a short 20 minute episode and that is why it feels like it was filler, even though it wasn’t. It definitely does keep the story going
Yeah wtf tho, they are getting shorter each week. Not cool at all
Probably they want it to end quick by cutting back on it... Hahaha like people say Star wars is dead 😅😂😂😂🎉❤
Good episode but nothing really went wrong with the plan to capture Rampart. On the other hand though, kind of nice to see a mission go so smoothly for once in a while.
Man, the way my guy emphasizes the e sound in necromancer kills me. He says "knee-crow-man-sir" I would say it "neck-row-man-sir"
North Americans are famously know for struggling with English
Same thing with "Omeeega". Apparently nobody has a grasp on Greek.
Kinda felt like a setup episode
I’m gonna say that the first episode last week was more filler than this episode. This episode was to me fair better than both episodes last week.
The Ventress episode was definitely filler.
@@vruxdrossgamingwhy spend the whole episode to test force sensitivity, Qui gon sensed immediately and used a little device to test. If Ventress is looking for high M count why not carry the same device we see the female clone use
@@seriousnesstv7902why the heck would she have access to Imperial tech 🤣? Also, Qui-gon was able to immediately sense Anakin's abilities because he was strong in the Force, even without any training. He would probably would have developed some abilities even if he hadn't been trained. Omega has no natural affinity in the Force. There's not thing there for Ventress to sense. And she doesn't have access to Imperial or Jedi Order tech because there is not Jedi Order (and she left it years ago) and is all on her own. I don't know where you except her to pull such technology from. The Force isn't magic, lol 😅🤦🏻♂️.
This wasnt filler, they needed to find a way to get to omega. Otherwise we would have gotten "somehow they found the planet"
It would be "somehow they found the planet" if Ramard just told them the coordinates. Then it would have been a good episode actually
Filler episodes don’t expand or help explain the whole story. This wasn’t a filler episode it helped bridge the gap about how they actually are going to find and get omega back from tantiss
GUYS WHY IS BAD BATCH NOT ON THE DISNEY PLUS HOMEPAGE RIGHT NOW!?!?!? WHY ARE THEY DOING STAR WARS DIIIRRTTTYYY!?!?
It's there for me
@@villadavid1997 oh. I guess Disney just doesn’t like me then
@tomsayer5186 It wasn't there for me either.
Just type it in the search bar bro
The Bad Batch was honestly the last Star Wars show I actually like. Its going to be sad that it ends
Same, but it’s been hella slow and boring lately.
Filler?? Filler would have been a story nothing related to the main plot... In this episode we get to see how the batch is trying by all their means to get Tantiss location and Omega meeting the force sensitive kids... Yeah.. it was not the best episode, I agree. But that does not make it filler 🤨
Yes it is
It’s definitely filler
"filler" has lost its real meaning now. They just say filler to anything they don't like. Theory would've loved it if Palpatine or Vader had appeared
Tje main plot was finding out where tantiss is
@@DS9TREKThat is sooo not true. I call it a filler as nothing happened to drive the story forward. If Ramard actually had the intel it would have been a good episode, but since he hadn't they now need to spend even more time obtaining what they should have obtained already. I don't think you understand the terms "filler" correctly and it is very silly of you to assume that it has anything to do with Vader or Palpatine. It is a technical term with the film industry, and it goes beyond just star wars.
This episode was definitely slower but it wasn't filler as it was set up episode. If you remove this episode the next one won't make sense therefore it is not filler
Filler?!🤨! It’s not a Filler!! It’s a very important episode leading towards the Epic finale! Omega thought like a Jedi handing herself over to be taken back to tantis + Hemlock all to do with > (the emperor has returned project!), + the tank battle was awesome just like Mando😎! + Rampart lead us closer to knowing how TBB will locate tantis hence “ There are no coordinates to tantis but I know a way round that!” + emire had the look of😯! “ I'm glad that your safe!” omega “ am I?” I🤔she will turn but isn’t quite ready to do it! = Hemlock taking omega to the vault sets up operation break out! Omega seeing the force sensitive children🥲😯! Omega will help them hatch a plan to leave tantis!
This episode got a massive budget increase, I swear.
So u also noticed the massive jump in animation and detail?!? I thought i was going crazy
Same here
This episode was AWESOME, I really liked it, can't wait for next week and the finale!!!
I don't think this was filler at all. It wasn't my favorite episode, but it was definitely necessary to move the plot along. If they just showed up on Tantiss, that'd be pretty bad writing.
The Batch breaking into a prison to gather intel from Rampart on the location of Tantis is “filler” … Interesting …
These episodes need to be longer …
You know Hemlock sure seems like Emerie is getting a bit sympathetic towards Omega, I mean that’s just a theory… *A GAME THEORY*
It would be A FILM THEORY instead because this is a show yk?
@@MidStar_gamer95*THANKS FOR WATCHING*
That’s not even a theory. It’s obvious that she cares about Omega and the kids. Disney just keeps recycling the same stories. Obviously Emerie is going to pull a deus ex machina and save the day after everyone thinks all is lost.
@@InfectiousViperhe said hemlock not emerie
Definitely wasn’t a filler episode, it was a great transition from last weeks episode to set up the last few episodes!
The action was pretty cool with the juggernauts and it was interesting seeing Rampart’s current condition
It really isn’t a filler episode, this is all necessary to see but maybe not in so much detail. Honestly if they stuck to treading 2 episodes every week instead of just one the reception would be a lot better.
I’m curious what the point of bringing Scorch, specifically, into the show was, since at this point it wouldn’t make any sense to add any characterization to him.
Bro I feckin love crosshair man, what a DOPE CHARACTER gonna miss him!!
"Temple of the last crusade". Lol
Give me a break! It's not filler. It was great content
Mandalorian vibes in that tank
How this is the one yall are calling filler, when episode 8 (the one with Fennac Shand) exists.
The Ventress episode as well, but 8 I give some leeway to since it shows Crosshair spending time with Omega.
@vruxdrossgaming I almost wanted to add that as well. At this moment, there was no good reason to bring that lady back to life or have her in this show.
Phee’s reaction to her home being invaded by the Empire made no sense to me
Because it's a place she helps, not her actual home.
@@willfanofmanyii3751 Still seemed way too casual about it imo. I’m not the biggest fan of her character. She’s on par with Sid for me
@@dooliciousNah definitely not. Cid sold them out twice despite them doing jobs and gaining money for her.
The sad part is this is setting up for the horrible trilogy and clones of Palpatine and Snoke. Poor Rey came from a petre dish.
how is this filler dude, they pretty much showed us that their gonna combine all of their dna in the next couple episodes, as well as the batch figuring out how to get to tantis, would of rather they just instantly get their bro. It’s okay for every episode to be ultra action packed and with lightsabers
I was waiting for Fat Mace to tell the boys “May the Fork be with you “ lol
Wish we saw more of the turbo tanks in TCW or just in general going forward, they are really cool.
The theatrics on the bridge were insane for being animated.
Sickened it was a 19 minute episode, though.. also, fingers crossed we get the finale's episode(s) all at once, rather than waiting week-to-week. They've done good this season not leaving big cliff hangers, just giving us double episodes when needed.
I laughed the way they barely got Rampart on the ship and just kinda yeeted him up on the ramp right before he came very close to just slipping off and falling to his death
Absolutely not filler in this episode. Very important information received about the BB trying to get the where abouts of Tantis.
Definitely not the worst episode this season. Not the best, but imo one of the more decent episodes. Seeing a clone turbo tank and republic ships was dopeeee and it was nice to get a good action battle.
it all leads to the sequels :(
Unfortunately… but at least they tell a much interesting story and explain the sequels.
Not sure how you call this filler, what do you expect them to trip and fall onto the coordinates to tantiss? They gotta acquire it somehow
he calls anything filler he has the shittest takes of any star wars channel lmao
Theory, i beg for you to learn what a filler actually is. Just because YOU don’t like it doesn’t mean it was a filler episode
It would be an interesting surprise if Palpatine had Yaddle in his vault-or at least her corpse. Yoda's and Yaddle's species is supposed to have really high m-counts. He might be trying to replicated their high m-counts in clones.
Fun fact: (I just found this out today) Admiral Rampart is actually Charles Smith from RDR2
we started the episode off with the goal of finding out where tantiss is, at the end of the episode we still have no idea💀💀
Why didn’t you call the episode with Ventress filler? Oh that’s right because it’s one of the characters you simp for and this episode was about a character you didn’t care about (Rampart)
It's really not a filler.
So much happened in this episode
Why am I not surprised that this guy doesnt know what "filler" is? LMAO
bro they did not do the impact of tech’s death properly
that pirate clearly had an attachment to him and they just skipped past it
I really enjoyed the episode, just wish it had been longer.
It was slow like a filler, but was still essential to the endgame.
I usually agree with you but this episode was no filler I saw your video title before watching the show, so I already had a bad expectations before watching but the episode went against everything that a filler would feel like. Was a great transition episode from omega getting taken again
I thought it was a really good Episode. I don't understand how it's "filler" We got to see Rampart again, Which continues His Storyline instead of just leaving it open ended, And
The Bad Batch are getting closer to finding the coordinates to Tantiss. They're not just going to find it in like 5 minutes. I like the idea that Tantiss is somewhat untraceable, It makes it feel like more of a threat. Plus, The Action was Awesome! How can You not Love The Bad Batch taking over a Turbo Tank! I thought it was Great and even though it was a little short, It's still moving everything into place for The Finale Which I'm SO Excited For!!! I Love Theory, But He needs to understand what "filler" actually means.
Lol it wasn’t filler. Whether you thought it was a good episode or not, a filler episode has almost no bearing on the plot moving forward. You can make the argument it was slow, but they busted Admiral Rampart, the main imperial antagonist in season 1, out of prison in order to rescue Omega from Tantiss. If you just focus on Omegas perspective sure it wasn’t anything special, she arrived, got her blood taken, and was told something vague and cryptic, but that wasn’t the focus of the episode.
How is this filler? Do you just expect a magical way of them finding Mount Tantis. "Somehow, we found the location. Let's go get Omega."
That's the way he thinks. Very childish. It's why he couldn't appreciate Andor. Intricate storytelling is boring to him.
But at the end they still don’t know where it is. It was a waste of an episode
If they at least found out the location it would be a better episode
@@TheTruth-si5zq Not really, since they have the person who believes they can find the location
@@TheTruth-si5zq No, that is simply not true. Can you not see how they now need to spend another episode before they obtain those coordinates??? That is why it is called a filler
This episode was dope. We needed a piece to get them to Tantis, and now we got it with Rampart. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds with only a few episodes left. It's so sad to see this be the end of Bad Batch.😢. I'm hoping more animation to come besides tales of the empire and visions. We love the clones!❤❤. Also, the visuals were amazing this episode. Insane.
I noticed how they keep teasing wrecker to die next..
If this episode is filler, then the episode with Ventress should be considered filler as well since we didn’t actually learn anything new in that episode. I’d say this week’s episode at least progresses the plot a little more.
(2:49) Do you mean “The Last Crusade”, or “The Temple of Doom”? I think it’s Crusade, where Indie was on chasing a tank on horseback.
This season of bad batch is peak Star Wars to me, like season 7 of clone wars level of good. The story has been compelling, tensions high, and it feels like Star Wars. I’m not entirely sure what it is that makes this season feel more like Star Wars than others, but I know this is good stuff here.
I feel like if The Clone Wars came out today it would be constantly panned for its filler episodes
Apparently if there's no giant action in the episode it's filler now, this was honestly one of my favorite episodes of the whole series
1:07 can't forget fat mace windu
Loved the episode, especially the escape scene. Classic star wars action!
You guys think project necromancer has the potential to open up the avenue of making star killer cannon? I mostly assume it’s to tie into how palp “returned”
What if it’s Starkiller in the vault but he’s still being worked on
Its no filler. The episode keeps the pace going
Literally a good episode.
What was Grogu doing while Rey was fighting the sith?
I'll admit, this episode was less filler and more transitional in nature, a big way to look at it is D&D. We the players knew all this information already, but none of the characters knew that, so despite our knowledge, we're not gonna rush from Point A to Point C and ignore Point B.
This episode was Point B, seemingly filler in story structure? Sure, not a lot happened that we didn't already know, same for the last episode with Ventress, but these get the point across, for our immediate future and our "Post Bad Batch" future.
And to clarify my point on the post bad batch, they hinted at Ventress taking Omega as her apprentice, or at least with her, which could be the next show. but we'll see soon.
I can at least say that the bad batch working together and crosshair holding himself back to get rampart off planet to help will help in the last episodes and love how it at least showed our theory about rampart was right that makes the episode at least good to me
Only three more episodes? I feel like there's going to be a lot of stuff left unfinished... I could be wrong, but to me, it seems they have a little too much going on. I guess we shall see. It has been a good ride, though. Have enjoyed it.
Bro I love this show and gotta say it really feels star wars and the animation is off the chain. Hemlock is really growing on me, I hope he continues to become more twisted and creepy
Those strange laser scan sound effects are actually in Battlefront 2 (2005), its the Bothan cloaking sound effect!
Episode 12: Moving our heroes close to their final fight, tie up loose ends with giving some previously left storylines an ending.
Star Wars Theory: Filler.
Understandable, Have a Nice Day!
This episode was awesome I got to see a juggernaut again if people keep thinking this is filler then I don't know what you guys are on about this episode helped move the plot along
I burst out laughing every time Theory expresses his hatred of Sid 🤣
They just forgive crosshairs so easily to let Omega go along with no absolute torture scene of Rampart for what he did.
For that reason it was “Ight” episode for me. Pretty rushed but still good.
It wasn't a great episode but it was a good break from the anxiety of the previous episodes ! In my opinion, it was important for us to kinda relax, see some action without being afraid of the lives of the characters. Let's not forget about what's coming in the next episodes ! Probably sadness, anxiety, fear etc... it was nice to see probably the last relaxing episode of the series !
“Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Last Crusade” -Star Wars Theory
It was a nice transition ep. when we have the chance to binge rewatch all, it will make more sense
That sound made right before Hemlock walks in is actually the sound your shields make when they're recharging after taking damage in Republic Commando. Jedi Academy was definitely a fun game though.
Pretty sure that sound you referred to theory is from Star Wars Bounty Hunter, when you pick up bacta health or one of the mythosaur symbols. I can't remember exactly but I know it's from that game, I noticed it a few episodes ago and felt nostalgia straight away haha.
The turbo tank high jack was pretty cool 10/10 episode for me😂
The battle footage in this episode is great.
The temple of the last crusade lmao 🤣🤣
Filler but I thought it was fast paced and overall enjoyable. I do think it was needed though to fill in how they are getting to Tantis, in the end it can't be an easy find there needs to be some work done. This is a good show and I overall enjoy it as well and feel a level of investment as well to the characters. I like them all but Wrecker might be my favorite.
