Great instructions, this really helped. 👍 I have two questions though please. What happens when you draw an opportunity card for a specific location and that location already has one on it? And, does your character *have* to stop at a location with a trouble or opportunity card on it and complete the challenge, or can you move freely around the board and pick and choose the challenges you want to take on?
I don't know the answer to the first question, but for the second question: you do not have to stop. You can freely move around the board and choose the challenges you want to take on. I'll see if I can find an answer to the first question.
@@WatchItPlayed Great scott!!! That's awesome, thank you so much for taking time to answer me. I think that's it all covered. Time to go.... Back to the Future! 👍
Hello Rodney. We played this following your How To but came back here to clarify some rules 😅 1. At 12:15, you mean I can exhaust multiple power tiles with modify/reroll on one challenge I'm attempting, or you're just showing an example on the difference between those two tiles 2. At 15:35, Skateboard "Exhaust this item to turn 1 Biff into Courage during a challenge roll". Do I exhaust the item after I see the result of the roll or before I roll? Is it like gambling the item in case there will be Biff in the result... Or there is Biff, I will exhaust this item. I'm confused about the "during" in the text. 😅😂 Thank you!
Hi Rodney, question for you: if a "Trouble" card says we can't modify dices results, I can still use the "Re-roll All" power to re-roll dices? Or the "Trouble" card limitation is more important?
1. If Marty is in town square and Lorraine is at doc Browne’s house and he uses his special ability, can he move her to George’s house or Hill Valley high? He can’t move her into the town square but those two squares being adjacent rather than diagonal are nearer to him? 2. If using Jennifer’s special ability must you move the other character the most direct route (ie through the centre) or can you move them around the outside?
1. Yes, Marty could move Lorraine 1 step closer so that she is now adjacent to Town Square (and Marty). 2. It is fine for Jennifer to move another player around the outside, as long as it is in the direction that is moving that character closer to her.
Hi, nice video. Greetings fron Mexico. When the orange cube moves to the next turn all players plays (by sub-turns)? Or only one player plays and then orange cube has to move again
Hi Edgar, I’m travelling right now, so can’t easily rematch to confirm for you, but if you check the video again, the wording should hopefully make it clear.
Man, Prosperous Hall has been knocking it out of the park with these games lately. They’re very unique. However, I’m not the biggest fan of the dot eyes, and the event names are so clinically clean that it’s boring. “Scare George to Act” and “Biff Puts Sign on George’s Back”, really? How about “Invasion!” And “Kick Me!” Or “Pranked” or something other than a flat explanation of what’s happening.
I'm sure I could read the comments and get my answer, and get my answer, but I'm lazy. Is the game not officially released? I want to make sure I pre-ordered the Right game. Thanks so much! Love your videos!
I have a couple of questions. 1. If I move to a location with a opportunity card and a trouble card with the same roll requirement (say a speed symbol) do I need to roll for each card? Or does rolling on speed symbol count for both cards? 2. When I get a power card is it unusable until the next turn?
1) You resolve that kind of challenge like other challenges (as explained here: ua-cam.com/video/16R4e-YUrvc/v-deo.html) 2) Those are 2 different challenges, and each challenge is resolved separately. So a die you roll in one challenge, can't be spent at that time on another challenge. 3) You'll find that explained here: ua-cam.com/video/16R4e-YUrvc/v-deo.html Hope that helps.
Sorry I didn’t get one thing, the round cube must be moved to the right every time one player starts their turn, or just in the end of the round after all players made their moves? Great video
Ok one resolving Biff scenario unanswered. Scenario 1:What if Biff, Lorraine, and George are still all on same spot (love meter already resolved) an on the next person's turn they don't move any of the trio, but now they get two Biffs? Love meter becomes negative 2 to resolve the 2 Biffs (because one doesn't get used to move him so both Biffs apply to meter)? Scenario 2: at the beginning of your turn Biff and Loraine are already on the same spot. To resolve two Biffs, negative two on love meter? Or move two spaces toward George?
1) Right, each Biff would affect the love meter in that case. 2) Biff wouldn't move as he's already with either George or Lorraine, she he's stay with Lorraine and both Biff results would lower the move meter by 1. Hope that helps!
@@WatchItPlayed Fake video alert! I can't believe it, the Internet is full of fake video, I need to disconnect my computer from this Internet! Seriously though, it is these bits of extra effort you put in, whether it's the box flip, the humor, that makes it a joy to watch, and brings a smile to my face, beyond the actual content of the video, thank you
Awesome game! Challenging to beat, but fun! Just to clarify: After rolling once for a challenge, I can reroll the non-Biff dice as many times as I want until I quit /all dice are Biffs? When playing the game, I was under the impression that I only get one reroll.
I'm hoping you can settle a disagreement, since the instructions aren't explicit about this. At around 7:45, you mention, "...as long as you have some [power tiles] remaining, you can attempt, and re-attempt, any actions you want." If I have 4 available power tiles, and I am in a location of a Challenge... Influencing Love, for example... can I exhaust 2 tiles to roll 2-dice attempt at the Challenge, complete all the stages of rolls/re-rolls/etc., gain rewards and/or suffer penalties of that 2-dice attempt, and then flip over 2 more tiles to use in a subsequent repeat of a 2-dice attempt at the same Challenge without moving out and then back into that board location? Otherwise, great video. Thank you for explaining it so well, since it is rather complex the first time through.
Correct. You don't have to move out and then move back in. You could select 2 tiles, attempt the challenge, and then immediately after select 2 other tiles for the same challenge. Hope that helps!
Does the Turn Tracker move at the start of any one person's turn or at the start of a rotation of turns? Like if I move the piece at the start of my turn, and then my turn ends, does the next person move it once and so on? Or is it at the start of the first person's turn?
Just to be sure about the turn tracker phase. I hear you say "from then on everytime this phase is resolved in the future, you move the token one spot to the right", but... Is this phase resolved for each player as they take their turn? Or do all players play one round together and then move the token to the right? I believe every nect players turn the token is moved one spot, but I want to be sure when we start playing. ;-)
I’m traveling, so can’t easily check the video, but I’m confident that after the game play overview (around the 3 minute mark), this clarifies that’s the turn tracker phase is part of a players ‘turn’. Which means that on each player’s turn, they resolve that phase. Have fun playing!
I really love this board game but the turn tracker still confuses me. I believe there's a line in the rules that says something like "every player, except the first, moves the turn tracker at the start of their turn". does it just mean at the VERY first turn or does that player not activate the turn tracker for the entirety of the game? it feels like we never have enough time to resolve a game if the turn tracker moves on every turn but maybe we're just bad lol
On a power card. One lightning equals two lightning. Can u resolve the card so two lightnings = two hearts to move the cube up the love meter? Because around 12:39 in the video, you only moved the heart 3 spaces.
If you have that tile which converts 1 wild to 2 wild, those 2 wild can be anything you want, including 2 hearts. At 12:39 I has showing a new example and just using the dice, not the tile. Hope that helps!
Hi David, as the video mentions, it's for 2-4 players. It also provides the instructions for what you change, based on whether you have 2, 3 or 4 players. Hope it's helpful!
Hey Rodney Smith, if I've taken my turn but didn't use all of my power tokens can other players in my location make us of my unused tokens to assist them? Or does it have to be from a player who hasn't taken a turn yet?
Did you Try allready JAWS?. AMAZING. As I love Movies I hope this will came to Spain soon. Between this one and Horrified which one you would choose? Or can they have together???. Thanks.
I have two questions. Does each person move the turn tracker or does the first player move it every time it is their turn (making it rounds and not individual turns)? and 2nd. If the trouble card says that Loraine and George can't move (using movement cards or excorted by a player) mean that Marty's special power then no longer works, or can Marty still move Loraine the 2 paces closer to him?
Hey Katie, each player-except the first player-begins their turn by moving the Turn Tracker Cube one space to the right. I do by best to answer all rules questions on the games I cover, but I avoid individual card effects, as that's a level of detail beyond what I can manage across all the videos I do. I'd suggest checking the rules forum for the game on BoardGameGeek or the publishers website. My sense of it, is that if there is an effect saying that George and Lorraine can't move, than Marty would not be able to move them. I hope you can find your answer - have fun playing!
so on the turn tracker, does each player do the slot in that round of turns and then you move it over one slot. or does 1 player do the first slot then 2nd does the next 3rd...ect. i dont know if thats confusing, im just trying to figure out if each player playing will pull a trouble card and movement or if it was just the 1st player that does it.
Each player-except the first player-begins their turn by moving the Turn Tracker Cube one space to the right. The first player of the game will start on either the 2P, 3P, or 4P space, depending on the number of players in the game.
@@WatchItPlayed ok. I'm still leaning how to play the game. Me and my wife tried after watching this video. We obviously did some things wrong. But with 2p it seemed like we were running out of turns before even coming close to accomplishing anything
What is the purpose of there being 3 spaces at the end of the DeLorean track? Is it possible for the car to get pushed back, meaning having it at the furthest of the three spaces is beneficial?

@@WatchItPlayedoh ok , so at the end of the your turn you immediately flip your tiles over. I thought once every player has gone you then collectively flip all of your tiles. Thanks so much!!! You really do great work!!!
Hey Suns, don't feel stupid. I need a little more help with the context though. What do you mean by "what do you do"? In other words, what do you think has to happen? Do you have a time stamp for in the video to point me towards the part that is causing concern?

What happens when you draw an opportunity card for a specific location and that location already has one on it?
And, does your character *have* to stop at a location with a trouble or opportunity card on it and complete the challenge, or can you move freely around the board and pick and choose the challenges you want to take on?
I don't know the answer to the first question, but for the second question: you do not have to stop. You can freely move around the board and choose the challenges you want to take on. I'll see if I can find an answer to the first question.
Got an answer on the opportunity card drawn for the same spot... just add it to that spot. Now you’ll have two potential challenges there.
@@WatchItPlayed Great scott!!! That's awesome, thank you so much for taking time to answer me.
I think that's it all covered. Time to go.... Back to the Future! 👍
Hello Rodney. We played this following your How To but came back here to clarify some rules 😅
1. At 12:15, you mean I can exhaust multiple power tiles with modify/reroll on one challenge I'm attempting, or you're just showing an example on the difference between those two tiles
2. At 15:35, Skateboard
"Exhaust this item to turn 1 Biff into Courage during a challenge roll". Do I exhaust the item after I see the result of the roll or before I roll? Is it like gambling the item in case there will be Biff in the result... Or there is Biff, I will exhaust this item. I'm confused about the "during" in the text. 😅😂
Thank you!
1. Yep! ua-cam.com/video/16R4e-YUrvc/v-deo.html
2. You can use the item after you see what you've rolled.
Hope that helps!
@@WatchItPlayed Wow that was fast! Thank you so much. 🥰
This looks far out man! Thanks for the video, great job as always!
“What was the meaning of that?” “It was right in front of him.”
Thanks for the kind comment Dany!
Hi Rodney, question for you: if a "Trouble" card says we can't modify dices results, I can still use the "Re-roll All" power to re-roll dices? Or the "Trouble" card limitation is more important?
Found the answer from the designer if someone comes across this comment: boardgamegeek.com/thread/2514258/does-modifying-mean-re-rolling
Whoa- this is heavy!
I like it how he likes all the comments
I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave them :)
You're the best, Rodney! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed Nathan!
Oh, I love the art. Reminds me of Hergé. But hey, art is subjectivity, of course.
I'm sure I could read the comments and get my answer, and get my answer, but I'm lazy. Is the game not officially released? I want to make sure I pre-ordered the Right game. Thanks so much! Love your videos!
It is officially released.
I have a couple of questions. 1. If I move to a location with a opportunity card and a trouble card with the same roll requirement (say a speed symbol) do I need to roll for each card? Or does rolling on speed symbol count for both cards? 2. When I get a power card is it unusable until the next turn?
1) You resolve that kind of challenge like other challenges (as explained here: ua-cam.com/video/16R4e-YUrvc/v-deo.html)
2) Those are 2 different challenges, and each challenge is resolved separately. So a die you roll in one challenge, can't be spent at that time on another challenge.
3) You'll find that explained here: ua-cam.com/video/16R4e-YUrvc/v-deo.html
Hope that helps.
Sorry I didn’t get one thing, the round cube must be moved to the right every time one player starts their turn, or just in the end of the round after all players made their moves? Great video
At the start of each player's turn.
@@WatchItPlayed thanks for the reply :)
Haha I wonder how many takes Rodney did for the first scene where he's spinning the box and catching it at the right orientation
Why, first time, every time - of course! ;) ua-cam.com/video/9WXTNh3fsM0/v-deo.html
You can re-roll non-biffs as often as you like!
@@WatchItPlayed Absolutely. Thank you!
Looks fun, but those eye dots creep me out. Like showing up to a new town where everyone is obviously a serial killer.
But... Tintin!!
Does the Turn Tracker move at the start of any one person's turn or at the start of a rotation of turns? Like if I move the piece at the start of my turn, and then my turn ends, does the next person move it once and so on? Or is it at the start of the first person's turn?
At the start of each players turn. Hope that helps!
Funko publishes some of the best games
@@WatchItPlayed thanks so much, happy travels.
Question.
There is a situation where you can’t move Lorraine or George from their houses. Can Lorraine be moved with Marty’s ability?
I'm not quite sure I understand the question.
Amazing game! How do we play 3 players?
It's been a little while since I shot this, but the video should cover the changes to setup for the various player counts.
Are any games harder to flip than others?
Never! ;)
How much TIME does it take to play it? XD
Do all players take a turn before moving the turn cube? Or do you move it for each turn?
Hey Duncan, you'll find that covered here: ua-cam.com/video/16R4e-YUrvc/v-deo.html
It means JUST at that very first turn. Time does go quick in the game!
Can this be played with 3 players ? Thanks great video
Hi David, as the video mentions, it's for 2-4 players. It also provides the instructions for what you change, based on whether you have 2, 3 or 4 players. Hope it's helpful!
Watch It Played very helpful thank you now pre ordered 👍🏻
When there are two symbols on a card, do you have to roll both symbols or is it either or.
I shot this long enough ago, it might be helpful to have a time stamp to an example of what you are referring to.
you have to roll both to complete the challenge
Hey Rodney Smith, if I've taken my turn but didn't use all of my power tokens can other players in my location make us of my unused tokens to assist them? Or does it have to be from a player who hasn't taken a turn yet?
Hey Adam, it doesn't matter if you've taken a turn or not.
@@WatchItPlayed thank you
Did you Try allready JAWS?. AMAZING. As I love Movies I hope this will came to Spain soon. Between this one and Horrified which one you would choose? Or can they have together???. Thanks.
I have not played Jaws yet.
@@WatchItPlayed Try... It's just great and totally amazing as living the movie in two acts, the beach, and the Orca... Great game.
if you have a (heart) = (lightning/wild) power token, and you roll a double (heart) on one die, is that worth 2 (lightning/wild)?
Yep, if you roll a double-symbol face, you may change both symbols to Wild symbols, and each one may be used for any symbol.
@@WatchItPlayed Thanks for answering!
@@sew2242 A pleasure to assist - have fun playing!
so on the turn tracker, does each player do the slot in that round of turns and then you move it over one slot. or does 1 player do the first slot then 2nd does the next 3rd...ect.
i dont know if thats confusing, im just trying to figure out if each player playing will pull a trouble card and movement or if it was just the 1st player that does it.
It's been awhile since I shot, this, but I believe so, yes.

Video seems to not work? This was a great walk through wishing it was loading for me.
I was having a problem with UA-cam earlier. Seems to be working now though.
If you go first and don't use all your power tiles, can you still use the remaining ones to help another player on their turn?
Hey there, I'm always happy to try to help with rules questions, but if the answer is provided in the video, than I have to direct you there. You'll find an index in the description to help you find the section you might be looking for.
Thanks!!! Although i watched it a couple times, It still doesn't answer the question that I was looking for. I will have to check the rulebook thanks again!
@@DarkPassenger07 Does this cover it here? ua-cam.com/video/16R4e-YUrvc/v-deo.html If not, can you be more specific with your question?

Biff already disliked your video, Rodney...
We need to send him back to his own timeline!
I feel stupid for asking this but what do you do if you are on a space with no opportunity card?
Hey Suns, don't feel stupid. I need a little more help with the context though. What do you mean by "what do you do"? In other words, what do you think has to happen? Do you have a time stamp for in the video to point me towards the part that is causing concern?
@@WatchItPlayed let's say I am at Hill valley high and there is no opportunity card. What do I do from there?

Sorry Lily, I don't recommend, because I can't know your tastes, but I do have videos for both games, so hopefully that can help you decide which might be the one that you'd like most.
Why are there 3 end goal spots for the DeLorean? Is it possible to overshoot and drive too far? If not, then one spot would have sufficed.
Certain effects could push you backwards, so the further ahead you get, the less likely an effect like that will affect you.
