Eh, not just CR leaving. Felicia Day leaving, along with Zack moving on to Hyper RPG, the direction of the channel serously changed. It's just that after that CR was the only thing left holding the channel up. If the channel was like it was back in the glory days then losing CR would have been a deep cut, but there'd still be enough good stuff to carry on. I remember the channel being popular even before CR started, and many of us that stayed tuned into the twitch stream all day and night. Team no stream.

I am actually shocked at how similar this game seems to the original (legendarily bad) atari game.
I was thinking the same thing however I know I am in the minority but I actually like the Atari game. Once you learn how it plays, it’s pretty fun calling the space ship and getting him home before the timer runs out.

Geek & Sundry began to die in 2016 when Felica Day left, and succumbed to death in 2019 when Critical Role left.

Though I do love Becca and wish her the best in future endeavors, as one who started Geek and Sundry from the very first day with their beginning charity broadcast and used to keep it playing all day long, it has gone far astray from it's early roots. Hardly any of the old crew, one video posted a month.
Yall need to do a let's play again. It doesn't need to be as "high budget" as game the game or tabletop. But some games, you really need to see turns plays out to grasp it...
