You what is so frustrating? I refurbish laptops and genuinely do NOT want or need to use my MS account. I just need an "Admin" account for the legitmate purpose of clean installing the machine

This was a life saver, thank you. Nuked my server and could not get around the MS login prompt after deleting the partition and reinstalling from ISO/USB. This worked perfectly.
THANK YOU!!! This took me 1½ hours to solve... I thought for a second this fix didn't work, but then I realised, Microsoft is check if there's a cable in your PC, even though you have disabled the ethernet, so unplugging your cable is essential!
Thank you! I didn't mind installing with an account. it was always the one drive part that messes up all my pc lol. Did it this way, uninstalled one drive and signed in. No more one drive format folders lol

I hate how Microsoft makes it a chore to just use a local account. Honestly I wouldn't even mind using a Microsoft account if the setup would let me choose a custom user account name instead of automatically taking the first part of my email address and forcing that as the account name. I did change it in the registry following other tutorials but all that does is change the visible account name. It screwed with file permissions and if I wanted to add myself back as an owner I had to use the old name not the new name 🙄 Thanks for the tutorial! Can't wait for Microsoft to obscure it further in another update

EVEN EASIER, if you can turn off the internet by unplugging the nic cable OR go to airplane mode then all it takes is "shift + F10" and then type "oobe\bypasnro" in the command prompt, reboot and DONE! All the rest of the steps you can just skip.

What pros won't tell you. If you cant use shift + F10, try Fn + shift + F10. Sometimes the keyboard on the laptop is set to function keys as default, so if you press just f10 you will be pressing a special function not the actual F10. Leave a like :)

Im stuck on the location and privacy page. I dont have the option to turn on and off those settings. I only have "accept" which i cant click on since its grey. Anyone know why?
If you install 'Windows11' on a local account from scratch, without the regular Windows, does this wipe off all the pre-installed programs that come with Windows? I ask cos a lot of vids show the 'Windows Icon pop-up window' after, that only has 'Settings' & one other on that pop-up. Thanks in advance! 👍

it works i used only the netsh commands and didnt have to use the oobe commands in order to bypass the microsoft account login! Thanks a lot!

In my case i had to perform a network reset. It restarted after a few minutes and then I just to connect to a wifi network. Thanks man.
