I was at this concert as a 17 year old high school student. Awesome concert. We calmed down after emptying our pockets after watching multiple people near us get arrested by undercover cops. After the phenomenal concert there were hundreds of uniformed cops everywhere while walking back to our car. We went back 2 days later and saw them play again. I loved the 1970’s.
I was 9yrs old in 75...like they say it's all about the music...the sound is amazing...for a live concert...they are in pure form ...dark side of the moon ..shit...don't get know better than that...😢😮😅
LUV!!
I attended 2 of the shows on this run. Yes, it's true - Ed Davis, the LAPD police chief, was cracking down on pot smokers, and everyone was let in through just a couple of turnstiles, and patted down. Lots of people were getting arrested. The line to get in wrapped around the swimming pool (that's a LONG line). Of course we were familiar with DSOTM, but wish You Were here hadn't been released yet, so we didn't know any of the songs in the 1st set before the intermission. Amazing to hear all of DSOTM, and Echos was phenomenal. I suppose it's kind of bizarre that they spent money to tour and promote a record that hadn't yet been released, but they were one of the biggest bands at the time and I guess they could do what they wanted. LOVE the prog rock from the era - PF, King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Gong, etc... were making KILLER music. Nothing like it before or since.
Beautiful vocals in Any color and sax solo in Echoes.
Raving & Drooling. Which became Sheep. You Gotta Be Crazy became Dogs. Great bootleg thanks. I saw them in Hamilton on this tour.

It's so wonderful to hear Rick fully playing on "Sheep" and "Dogs". We need remastered versions of the best performances, so we can hear what got pushed out by the bugger.
final studio versions are too rigid
If only there was such a thing. Maybe a couple soundboard recordings locked up in someone’s basement but the fact that Pink Floyd didn’t film or at least record their concerts is a sin against humanity
well there's Wembley 1974
another superb show...thx.
Welcoming The Machine 📡📠📻🛠
At 1:28:34 When "Us & Them" surfaces. The beauty of what Rick & the boys plays is incredible 🥰
Setlist: ..., SoYcD pts.1-5, Have A Cigar, SoYcD pts.1-6, ...? Pts.1-6 = pts.6-9! Different anyway from most versions: no sax in SoYcD on Apr.26 & 27, 1975 but more Rick Wright.
From "brothers below" to "brothers above".
So Roger, see you next Saturday... 😂🤣
Ovations !
This was a show in which police officers were arresting people left & right for drugs! Not cool👎
It was a 5 day run of shows at the Sports Arena. I went to 2 of the 5 shows. Many arrests were made every night.
are any of the arrests audible on the bootleg to your knowledge?
And I can't go to concerts because of this scum polluting air around them with their "preferences". Do drugs at home, leave us alone !!!
@non-haereticicoalition8392 At 13:13 you can hear Sgt. Stadanko say " hey, dirtbag with the joint". Then if you listen closely you hear the clacking of beaded dreadlocks as the hippie scampers off into the crowd, never to be heard from again.
Seriously man, I'm pretty sure the busts were happening outside the venue, which may have possibly been inspiration for the scene in The Wall movie.
Or perhaps I'm just jealous cuz I was too young to attend, therefore I mock to compensate. Regardless,
Floyd Fuckin Rules!
Peace!
