Love taking macro photos and was using the FTZ but very much interested in getting Z mount extensions. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Jules, I didn't know about this so I'm glad you made the video...price is reasonable for what it does.

Hi Jules, great video, very informative. Question: If I put this extension tube using a z9 and z100-400 lens. At 400, the min focus distance is 3.22 feet, how do you think the extension will work on this lens ? Thank you for any info.

Well not so convinced by these tubes. They cost 79 $ … for 150$ - 200$ you can find a macro 60mm f2.8 D which is great with the ftz adaptor. You don’t have the autofocus but it s useless for macro. The advantage of the macro lenses is that they are optimised for short distance which is not the case for zooms, and fixed lenses. The 85mm is for portraits so for 3 -8 meters… so will not be as sharp as the 60mm at small distances. If you want a cheaper solution and if you have some old nikon F lenses you can find second hand extension tube for nikon F at cheaper prices. They are all metal and well made. You don t have autofocus capabilities but again who cares…
