ohhhh that’s so true!!! I thought it was the heavy rain here, my position was nuts at g maps. Even on highway going by 60mph straight it would occasionally think I was going the opposite way
I have the same problem as the previous comment, it’s exclusive when CarPlay is connected, the gps signal just gets crazy, weather native app get another city close to ocean or in the middle of it, it’s not exclusive of Waze or google but the entire iOS 18 gps gets lost when connected on CarPlay, I’m from Brazil and all of people here with this complaints when contact the Apple support level 2 the only answer is to blame the car brand and I think (at least here) are taking for granted our complaints about this issue.
@@GuilhermePJusto Interestingly, there is absolutely no problem with Android Auto on the Google Pixel - it's not the car brand's fault. Apple is just getting weirder since iOS 16.1.
I have a VW and none of the maps work well. Actually the GPS suddenly jumps to the middle of Atlantic Ocean and comes back a few seconds later to where I really am. This is absolutely annoying and I tried everything I read to solve it but the failure persists….

@@opdd122 Apple Maps is the only solution right now. iOS18.1 does not fix it.

The games they play with each other might get us lost in the middle of the night or delay emergence responses

oh, i'm very sorry for you. i've never heard that it affects all maps.
Me too, including Apple Maps
Same here, IOS 18.1 and Waze/Google Maps. Still waiting for the fix.
