You could put any fighter in the world at this time there would only be 1 outcome having Kevin Rooney with him was the masterstroke Mike you was a joy to watch there will never be another heavyweight who lit up this division like you did unbelievable fighting machine come back the 80s
Tucker was very underrated. Tall, long arms, fluid, athletic, good chin, defense, & stamina. If he had more of a mean streak, he could have been almost like a heavyweight version of young Thomas Hearns.
Mills Lane was kept busy keeping this fight going and theres a reason he is the best referee in the world and heres a perfect example of why..Tucker went to clowning Tyson and that was his down fall in this fight..every time he got funny Tyson got serious and Tucker paid for it..Tucker fought a great fight though
The bare spot is from the number of neck bridges Mike did in the camp leading up to the fight. It thrashes your hair but is a huge factor in tanking head shots that sneak through or winning the fight for posture in the clinch
Thanks!
Mike should have kept Kevin in his corner. But regardless, beating a guy 6 inches taller with a 10 inch longer reach is an incredible feat.
I remember I was a kid and ask my mom could I cut a bald circle in my hair like Tyson😂😂😂
Going 12 rounds with Tyson and leaving with no injuries... Respect
Mike Tyson is my favorite Boxer, I love him very much.👍👍
Tucker got Ali's movements down pretty good, that kept him from being knocked out.

Great again to the winner, Congrats.. Tony Tucker’s mullet belongs in the hall of fame..
Tony Tucker broke the record for most knockouts and challenged Prime Mike Tyson with the style of Muhammad Ali
Tyson still great boxer.
EVERYONE except Tyson ducked Tony Tucker until he was in his late 30's. He is a very underrated fighter of this era.

Tyson's hardest fights were OUTSIDE the ring .. Inside he is a King 👑
Tyson was the "Most Exciting Entertaining Heavyweight" EVER! And i Wouldnt even be Far Off to Say "Greatest Fighter" Ever.
This was his breakthrough for Mike. He needed this win in that moment

I once defeated Tyson in the ring, and then i woke up!😳
Amazing performance from TUCKER.

His survival tactics was too much holding otherwise Tyson would have bombarded his head with deadly blows
