Imagine all the highs and the lows that happened through the years in those buildings and just like the song playing… ashes to ashes… everything comes to pass. Nothing lasts forever
A special tribute to an iconic hotel that served not only tourists but was also a second home to it’s loyal employees…gone but not forgotten…love Las Vegas💖
@@KingEdwardAumm if the building you're in was built prior to 1970, it's more than likely in the floor tiles, ceiling tiles and heating/cooling system. So yeah it's in the room with you and the folks "waiting in line" are the ones standing around with their phones out inhaling the debris. "Were you or any loved ones near the Tropicana implosion in 2024, please call the mesothelioma hotline..." Fun to joke about but the reality is no one should be near that junk and hopefully these people filming stayed up wind. Stay safe!
Charles Finley was the owner of the As in the old Coliseum in Oakland who wanted pyrotechnics at that old stadium in the 1970s during the times they win a game or hit a homer. It will now become the Las Vegas Athletics now that the Oakland As have now officially been permanently dissolved in the Bay Area. Was Charles Finley there for that big pre-implosion firework show? If yes, he would have been happy for the As to move to another town, but sad for not having the As anymore in Oakland. And for the first time ever in Las Vegas history in its 30-plus years of building implosions - it is a mixed spectacular. A hybrid spectacular. Drones and fireworks. As well as thunderous dynamite. First time ever?
This is the first place I ever stayed in Las Vegas… came with my best friends in 2012 and we had a blast. Goodbye Tropicana! All good things come to an end
Excellent view. Spectacular light show and fireworks too. The asbestos like dust cloud at the end added a typical Vegas ambience. Another one bites the dust. Well two in this case.
😢 This was where I hit my first jackpot in Vegas. $1,000. I was only 20, but my Mom was able to collect it. That was when u could still get away with things like that.
The A’s won’t ever really play in Vegas. You can take that to the bank. Still no financing, still no concrete plans. A lot of talk and promises. Ask Oakland how that routine went. That space will be used for something, but not the A’s.
Your a party pooper the fire works where cool and deffenilty made it more memorable and I somthing Tropicana deserves biengs one of the oldest hotels on that strip
Don't know how much I watch this but Everytime I saw the implosion I cried so much ,too many great memories. Good bye Tropicana 😢😢😢
Good bye Tropicana had fun working there.
As usual Vegas knows how to make everyday things unique, congratulations to those who planed this event and pulled it off flawlessly !
Vegas are the kings of fireworks and bringing these old casinos!! That was some awesome shit!!
Spent my Husbands 75th there, had a great time, so sad to see it go.

Wow that was quite a show
"I hear that hotel tropicana is quite comfortable" James Bond (Sean Connery) in a scene from Diamonds are Forever 1971.

People waiting in line to breathe asbestos 😎
Where are they waiting in line?
They probably removed all the asbestos before the implosion.
"Where's the asbestos? is the asbestos in the room with us now?"
Silica

Imagine People watching this same w 9-11 and they still think we were attacked😂
James Bond (Sean Connery) Stayed here in 1971 during Diamonds are Forever shooting even other cast and crew members also stayed here.

I don't think Finley was there - he died in 1996.
Now that was cool! Tropiana going out in style. I have fond memories.
Thank You🎶🎶🌸

Was there a reason why they did this at 2:30am in the morning? Vegas is never a quite town, they couldn't of done it at 11pm or midnight?
Man i live in vegas and i was already knocked out when this happened
The last of the legendary iconic Vegas hotels. Now there is no reason to go. All for a stupid baseball stadium! Stupid!!!
Goodbye Trop, had many great memories there
UP NEXT!!!!!
Circus, Circus
I used to work there as a teenager. 😂
@@wstcst4lmy son did too.
Probably when Vegas buys the next sports team.
I can see Excalibur being gone before circus circus!!
next OYO future park of the stadium
What a grand send pff.
So very sad. Never keep anything old , always after “new”.
Farewell Tropicana Las Vegas.
There goes my free parking
On the end of are I'll likely I was fortunate enough to see it before this implosion
More dust,+ rubbish into the atmosphere ,pollution galore
What did the A’s have to do with it?
That’s where the new stadium will be
The A’s should have stayed in Oakland
F the A’s. they belong to Oakland. Going to cause major traffic and will be expensive to go to stadium
Agreed.
Not many things cheap to go to in Vegas anymore. Been going there since the 70's and the buffets have gone from $3.99 to $60
You don't even watch baseball.
Oakland rejected them. If it wasn't Vegas it was Portland or Salt Lake City.
No ones sexing the As they ain't porn stars
It was a Tropolics .
So ssd😢😢😢
Sad
How much did the fireworks cost???🤑
100000000000000000000000000000000000000$
More than the A's payroll from last season.
ROFL at the fucking A's logo's. That team is not moving to Las Vegas mark my words
Man removing this work of art just to make room for a 30 win baseball team. stupid
And no one complained when the Brooklyn Dodgers later became the Los Angeles dodgers?
Most of the team won't be able to leave Oakland without violating parole
Oh now that's sad...i thought it was for something better.
@@marciamartins1992 🤣
Sad just to build a stupid baseball stadium..
Progress
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
And the A's dont even have a deal yet for vegas
Looks exactly how The World Trade Center Towers fell
No it's not don't start
Was this a casino?

Hard to see the future is. Anyone willing to take bets for a you tube pool?
Awful 911 resemblance
Wow, that looks just like how the twin towers came down in New York City
Strange hey! 😂
Almost identical to tower 7...you know, the one that fell because of an office fire lol
🕊🫡
😂
Would have been better without the distracting fireworks. Natural sound is better, and with the smoke obscuring the view.

@@Mysticalwarlock89 Sure. I can go with that. ;-)
FJF AND DK! The A’s should stay in Oakland and JF needs to sell the team!
