Hey Coop can you do a review on the parallel bars on different squat racks like T3 in rogue and others By the way even inspired me to Make my own patio gym
thanks for sharing this.. sounds ideal for me.. I don't want to use up all my outbuilding space.. I have a cinema room, so this would be perfect for me.. off one of the walls..
I ordered my PRX Profile Rack and I can't wait for it to arrive. When I designed my "budget build" I did a lot of shopping around and the PRX Profile Rack simply had the best bang for the buck since there are plenty of attachments available (dipping bar, kip/pull up bar) that can increase the amount of different work outs you can do. I did have to buy a separate bench that does incline/decline though, so I hope PRX can design a new bench that can do more. Also, a nice battle rope attachment would be cool.
so the bench does not incline or no? this is very important for me. also, as far as the dipping stand. is there a particular level that it has to be at? some dip stands are very low and not good for taller people. does this one adjust?
Seems nice but like the other comments a adjustable bench is needed. If I want to decline or incline I'll need to buy another bench, which will take up space I was trying to save. Counter productive. But still a nice set up. Thanks for sharing.
A friend of mine bought it and is amazing. But like you said the price is a little steep. I would definitely spend the money but at this price i would rather buy a full squat rack and get creative with the space.
Hey Sid, we appreciate the kind words! We only ship internationally at this point if the customer covers the freight costs and sets up his or her own carrier for pick up. We are hoping to expand internationally at some point in 2018!
I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
you think PRx would let you order the fold out bench parts and just exclude the top and reduce the cost a bit? I'm going to call them and they seem pretty flexible with their orders and design. Then I can take a rogue top and add it to the top of the bench and I believe you can just order the rogue replacement tops.
Yes! We have many rack options here. Some of which do not secure to the wall. Contact us with your exact ceiling height and we can help! prxperformance.com/collections/squat-racks
Iam reciming my PRX rack in two weeks:) Iam not a powerlifter and don't really do olymic lifts. Do you think i will be better off with just stall horse mats or should i get a platform to protect my epoxy floors? Also I have a small slope in garage and dont wanna be lifting on an uneven surface. If i decide to go just with stall mats i wonder how 🤔 should i level them? They are selling me an 8x8 platform here in my own town for $200. If i buy platform how can i level it? Sorry for all the questions and I hope you can help me. Thank u.
@@futbol1972 most garage floors are built to drain water and that's where the slope comes from. To level your rack, we offer a leveling kit on our website. No sir. If the rack is installed across 4 studs then there will be 0 issues. Almost 100% of the weight on the rack is distributed down through the uprights to the floor with very little pulling out from the wall. Hope this helps!
@@prxperformance guess ur correct. I think that differs this rack to the rogue/ titan design,. weight mostly all goes downward, well the rogue design could be pulling on the wall f the feet aren't leveled right or sitting on soft foamy flooring
Hey Ante! We do not currently have an adjustable folding bench, only the flat version. We're gathering feedback on our current version and innovating from there!
Thanks for a reply, the idea is great and it looks solid as a rock and that is very good quailty. With adjustable bench then you woudnt need any other bench. Good luck and Keep up the good work, sorry for my eng.
That hole in your ceiling and the plaster thats on the bar has me really concerned you've been smashing your head into the ceiling so many times that you've created an actual hole in your roof. Seek help.
$1,100 for 1/2 a power rack??? Uh... no. These manufacturers are trying to squeeze every dollar out of us before this pandemic is over , eh? Great review though. Thumbs up for you.
“You’re not buying it because it’s a sturdy rack...” ummm, what? Folding it definitely a priority, but I’m not gonna buy a folding snowflake rack. Come on man.
PRx Performance I understand the intent, but the fact is you buy it for both. One doesn’t help if the other isn’t present, so without both features a purchase won’t be made. Again, I’m not buying a folding rack made of sheet metal, so sturdiness is absolutely a factor. It’s not just a consideration.
Bottom line is I am a customer. I am in the market to purchase a folding rack. The reason I’m watching these videos is to find the strongest, beefiest rack in this category. To even insinuate that sturdiness is not a factor is sub-par marketing. Perception is reality to customers.
Anne, I communicated that poorly. Our racks are sturdy and made of American steel. I was trying to clear up what Coop was referring to in the video about both being features of the rack, but the folding capability being the best feature overall. Apologies for the miscommunication!
Those kipping chin ups or whatever there called are the dumbest made up move iv ever seen. It’s literally how you would instruct someone not to do chin-ups or how to cheat if you can’t do a full rep. Not only do you look like your having a seizure, it’s nothing but using momentum and swinging to get your chin above the bar. I’d be embarrassed to be seen doing them
Dang...we know they might not be everyone but it's fun to trigger the internet every now and then. The best part about having a home gym is being able to do whatever you want 👍
This guy knows alot about home gyms. He should start another channel specifically for garage gym reviews or something like that

The only "Coop" we loved , a true home gym guy not a cooperation like today
Excellent review ! Clear and concise. Great information. I’ll definitely be buying one ...
wish the bench could lay flat and be put into an incline. that would make the bench worth the extra money
Just put something under it, maybe a 50llb plate
I'm sold. Great review.

Yes, using gym equipment is a great way to build muscle 👍
An adjustable bench and safety racks are the only 2 things I could think of to improve the design
