I was very wrong, the ship was great fun and plenty of things to do and other than a little motion there was nothing to be concerned about. I think if you think on it too hard, like flying you can work yourself up about it more than you need too. Enjoy!
Terry: I've been on 20+ cruises but only once on RCI. Of all of these ship tour videos I've seen I think this is the best tour I've ever found. I checked it out as I have a friend going on Explorer in July and highly recommended this video to him. Great job!

Thank you for this great video! I sailed on the Explorer 10 times out of New Jersey and was glad to see all the upgrades and changes to the stores on the Royal Promenade! WOW I noticed a lot of great changes through out the ship during her dry dock!.....Early Morns on the ships are great! Thanks Again!
Thank you for giving such a comprehensive look. I will be on board in 9 months for an Alaska itineraray. I was frustrated to see other videos more focused on capturing selfie moments. I will be referring back to your video as I continue to plan my trip. I feel like I can get my bearings now. Great video, this will be my first Royal cruise. I have so much to learn since all my past experience has been with Carnival.
Cheers Ric, I had never actually intended to put this on UA-cam and it was more for family and friends back home to see what we experienced but I'm happy to see people such as yourself have enjoyed it as well. Especially as this was my first ever walk and talk with a camera I purchased the day before we left :) Enjoy your cruise, my parents have done the Alaskan Itinerary as well and enjoyed it.
Thank you for the video. We actually sailed on this ship in October 2004 for our honeymoon and are excited to be going back on her for an Alaskan Cruise. It was great fun to watch all the changes that have been made. You definitely should do more travel videos.

wow awesome .. I love RCI ships..havent been on this as yet but hopefully i';ll get there..thx for the tour .My friends have been on it and said it was awesome. Ive been on Rhapsody, Radiance and last yr Legend.. so all different but all pretty damn awesome :) Laughed at some of your comments to ppl too ..really enjoyed the narration. I also liked your logic about your kids not being on their own ..too many parents forget that even on a ship theyre are dangers..good for you !

Nice work Terry! My wife and I went on the same ship for the Xmas 2016 / 2017 New Year cruise - must have been the one after yours. Nice memories for sure looking at what you shot. It is funny how you can be on it for 2 weeks and still not see everything though :) I've also taken some footage both on and off ship at the same ports with some drone shots so it might also bring back a few memories for you guys too. Ahh yes, we debated that cruise as well, but honestly the xmas/nye bumped the price for us with the 2 kids so we went on the 11th Dec sailing which was still great. Thanks for the heads up on your video's, I'll definitely check them out. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy your next cruise :D

You'll love it. This was our first cruise and I think we've been spoilt :D Many people we spoke too were on their 5-10th cruise and said this was one of the best they had been on. We're looking forward now to the next time we can go :D
Terry Wood yep going not 2morrow but thursday but we are right under the windjammer altho we like going to the restraunt and on the ovation and legend of the seas the food was the same on the ovation of the seas when you went into the buffet you had to wash your hand with water and soap we found that much better then the hand sanitizer

You'd be getting excited now than! Nice.. We found deck 10 was a good spot being near Windjammer's up 1 and the pool deck etc. Have a top trip!
