In 2013 I went on a cruise on the Royal Caribbean and I had the best time of my life. It was the best vacation I ever had. I want to go again soon - as soon as I have enough money to go on the cruise 🚢 I'm going. Hopefully in the summer 2021. 🚢☀️🤽🏻♀️🏊🏽♀️🏖🏝⛱🛳✈️
Royal Caribbean allows you to bring 12 pack bottled water & 12 bottles of soda. My hubby I just returned from Conzumel MX Via Brilliance of the seas in April, we ported from Tampa. We also took 2 bottles of white & red wine too one of each. We had no issues.
I like the old time room keys! I have some plastic notebook pages made for organizing business cards. I have a notebook of all our cruise keys which are a great memory and reminder of all our past cruises.
Wine vodka are allow in a clear caprisun bag with seal if place neatly with hygiene products in ceram wrap and then stuff that pack in grocery bag and stuff that grocery bag incorporate into ur clothes. Now ur off the the hook. I did 750ml.
LOL your post really doesn’t make much sense. If you are sneaking it then it is obviously not allowed. And most cruise lines are going to start making examples of people they can catch… And not allow them to board the ship at all. Is it really worth risking your whole vacation over a small bag of alcohol?
Most of RC's ships that have a helipad on the bow of the ship allow their guests free access to the area, provided the seas are calm and it's not too windy.
I went on one this past weekend and one night they had Salmon Tartare with caviar on the menu. I've always been intrigued to try caviar plus I enjoy salmon so it was interesting but very tasty and something I wouldn't be able to get anywhere close to home.
DHS doesn't create the manifest, the cruise ship operators do. They have to send it in to DHS within 60 minutes of departure. Doing the check-in early will save you time in lines when you get there.
I checked how long ago you posted this. I see its recent. In the past 10 years Royal pizza has been awful. The one exception is made to order on the Oasis class. BUT Royal has heard the complaints and has started improvements. We had the improved pizza on Enchantment and it is good. Not great, but good for a snack. I'll check out Symphony soon
My last cruise on Oasis of the Seas they confiscated my power strip and made me come down to the security and open my luggage. Then drag it back to my room myself through the whole ship since I was up front. It was not a surge protector either. I liked the cruise otherwise but that was a pain.
We are going on the Oasis in February, our 18th cruise, second on the Oasis and also Allure once so that class is awesome. Loyalty does have its privileges so stick to one if you think it is good as at the Diamond level the Diamond lounge meets new people and always enjoy the free drinks and appetizers. Royal ships are outstanding if you like activities. Carnival ships are impressive for first time cruisers. We did three there but were bored after 5 days on each and haven't been back. Never tried Norwegian but will if itinerary is what we are looking for. Otherwise staying with Royal. Do everything you can, otherwise go to a beach if you intend to just sit around the pool and drink.

They dont allow any powerstrips or extension cords. Not sure if this has changed or unique to Harmony of the Seas - but they will take them if they find them. We got off Harmony the other week and there was a huge table of them to be returned - literally hundreds. When I enquired I was told - they are not allowed at all. Great info! My hubby & I will be going on our first cruise in April 2019to Cozumel MX. Were very excited! There were many things that I wasn’t aware of as far as services & amenities. I had no clue that we could take a few bottles of wine or champagne aboard the ship. Or get baggage drop off service to the airport. Those things were so helpful. Thx a bunch for sharing. I definitely hit the bell and I’m looking forward to your next video. Thx again!
I hope y'all enjoy yourselves..me and my husband are doing our 5 yr vow renewal 2020 on the royal caribbean... It will be our first time cruising as well
Also, don’t forget to bring an empty luggage or a big duffel bag. You’re going to need one if you buy merchandise. Alcohol, jewelry, watch, souvenirs, and/or clothes. They’ll have the Big sales near the end of the Cruise. After you spent most of your money. So wait till near the last day to buy merchandise and alcohol on the ship. Alcohol is especially cheap. Tip #2, always know where the bathrooms are. If you’re drinking a lot, you’ll be peeing a lot. For new Cruisers, if you don’t have a Passport, get a “Cruise Passport”. It’s way cheaper than a regular Passport. Mine cost $35 in SC. Prices might have changed. It looks like a Driver’s license. Or if you do a Passport and don’t feel like carrying that, just get a Cruise Passport then.

Just wanted to advise you that Royal has changed their policy in regards to bringing soda or water on board. You are now allowed to bring 1 12 pack of soda or water per state room.
+Jason Norris No water. They no longer allow you to bring anything in a bottle. Too many people were sneaking alcohol on board. Well, unless it’s water in again. Each person can still bring a 12 pack of anything in a can that is not an alcoholic.
Not sure I agree with #1 because it depends on if you have transfers and how close the airport is from the port. But do buy the package that combines air and sea travel like RCL’s Air2Sea.
Bear Jew , sure, I get that but depending on where you live and when you travel, there won’t be weather delays. So living in North Carolina and going to port Everglades, no weather delay in October and no plane transfers. Certainly if I were coming from Chicago I’d think differently

They do NOT allow power strips...been on 7 cruises with RCCL and never been able to get them on board. Secondly, yes you can bring water and soda on boarding day. We have brought eight 16 oz bottles of soda with us each time...never an issue. I have personally seen people carry on a case of water on board as well...we bring our own water bottles with flavor drops like Dasani or Crystal light. Again, never an issue and have been on 7 cruises now. As far as coat hangers....there are plenty on board, just ask for more, if needed!!!!
That's from editing on garbage consumer-grade software. The software runs a compression for audio, which adjusts automatically for various levels. When it starts, it's "listening" for audio. When he starts talking, the software says "WOAAA, that's LOUD!" and adjusts the audio input down. Professional grade editing software doesn't work like that.
They held my luggage because the non-surge power strip was detected through their x-ray machine and it was then confiscated. It was returned at the end of cruise, so don't bother it will just put a damper at the beginning of your cruise.
Hey SAL, since this is a few years old, can you confirm that RC still does not allow a case of soda per person? I have heard they have changed their policy? Can you please check and update.
Since I'm driving to the ship, no need for the flying info. But tell me, why the heck do I need to bring a power strip??? And I love the comment about "It's not going to be Starbucks quality coffee"....as if quality has any business in anything Starbucks does....ESPECIALLY it's coffee.
MARK MALASICS most cabins only have two single outlets. One in the cabin and one in the bathroom. Lol. So if you want to plug in two different things in the cabin... a power strip really helps. :)
If the aqua statistics show that it gets cancelled the first night why do they schedule it that day then?? (Already booked mine for the first day & it's all full for the second day...ugh)
+Rashad Ujaimi Always always always buy your excursion from the cruise line. If you buy it third-party, and you were late getting back to the ship, the ship will leave without you.
Thanks mate. Some great tips for first timers like me, and will definitely be following a lot of your advice. But I had to laugh at the end when you said "it's not Starbucks coffee" like that was a bad thing... In my country, Starbucks is the last resort coffee you drink if you can't get a real one.

I do wish they wrote the power strip rule somewhere...
Why did he say to bring one? He never explained a reason why he felt you needed to pack one anyways...??
When i called they said no. Do you carry it on in your carry on or checked bag?
What about extension chords?
Thanks
Great tips, thanks. But whats up with the audio feed (at each cut, starts loud and quiets down after 6-8 seconds)
I really enjoyed this thanks
Yw. Thanks for posting!
And the Freedom is in Puerto Rico!
They held my luggage because the non-surge power strip was detected through their x-ray machine and it was then confiscated. It was returned at the end of cruise, so don't bother it will just put a damper at the beginning of your cruise.
+Larry Aqui Hey Larry. It’s actually the opposite. It’s the surge protected ones that they do not allow. I am not really sure of the reason behind it.
They said no power strips were allowed, this was on the Harmony of the seas.
We just got back from a rc cruise and we seen people bringing cases of water and 12 packs of soda with their carry on
What if you live in the same city as you leave?
Great video. Thanks.
Thanks for posting! :)
geting reay to go on 1srceuie at 70 years and love the clues to make it great
Highlihter and magnetic hooks, multiplug? What a heck? This is when I nexted the video.
On some ships there is a Starbucks I know they are on oasis class ships
Hey SAL, since this is a few years old, can you confirm that RC still does not allow a case of soda per person? I have heard they have changed their policy? Can you please check and update.
12 packs of soda and water are allowed!
This is correct too!
Yes that policy has just recently changed and water and soda are now allowed
MOTLEYBRUE you can bring your own drinks?
@@jenniferwood4742 do you mean alcohol? No you can't... but people do sometimes wink wink
Carnival only allows can soda but me my wif drink seltzer water instead.
Escargot... Yum!
I always bring cans of soda and bottled water on royal Caribbean.
Jess Edholm yes water 12 bottles 16.9 oz to 20 oz and plastic wrap it has to be in your carry on
Great video thank you
You’re allowed to bring soda on now.
Robert Phillips That is correct. It must be in cans, and only one 12 pack per person sailing.
I thought the Abyss was a dry slide, not a water slide. We are going next week. 😲
Heather Raup the abyss is a dry slide. currently on the harmony of the seas
Cool intro on your video
Since I'm driving to the ship, no need for the flying info. But tell me, why the heck do I need to bring a power strip??? And I love the comment about "It's not going to be Starbucks quality coffee"....as if quality has any business in anything Starbucks does....ESPECIALLY it's coffee.
MARK MALASICS most cabins only have two single outlets. One in the cabin and one in the bathroom. Lol. So if you want to plug in two different things in the cabin... a power strip really helps. :)
@Sal Pitera the Abyss isn't a water slide.....
If the aqua statistics show that it gets cancelled the first night why do they schedule it that day then?? (Already booked mine for the first day & it's all full for the second day...ugh)
What is the most economic way to get on shore excursions specially for families, visiting Florence, Rome, Napoli , Palma de Mallorca, marseille ?
+Rashad Ujaimi Always always always buy your excursion from the cruise line. If you buy it third-party, and you were late getting back to the ship, the ship will leave without you.
Great tips man!👍👍👍
Thanks mate. Some great tips for first timers like me, and will definitely be following a lot of your advice. But I had to laugh at the end when you said "it's not Starbucks coffee" like that was a bad thing... In my country, Starbucks is the last resort coffee you drink if you can't get a real one.
Haha. Thanks for watching. Have an amazing cruise!
Good one !
OUr flight was cancelled and we had to drive down, so good advice!
Few cruise channel talk about list of bring or not to bring.
Hardly anyone talk about wheelchair and motorize chair..
"Cruising with Wheels" is a good one if you are looking for the perspective of a disabled guest...
It's best to bring your own.
