    Thank you for the very helpful videos
    I’ve been working for myself for two years now, doing exterior cleaning.
    Your videos have been really inspiring and I’ve learnt so much about how to get started etc.
    It’s really busy so I’m well pleased
    It’s been far more enjoyable than working for a someone in a car garage.
    Many thanks

    Another fantastic video Ashley.
    Would you consider creating one additional playlist...’Everything you need to setup a roof Cleaning business’ then you’ve covered all bases?
    You’ve helped so many people with your online content, you should seriously consider getting a teaching qualification that allows you to hold classroom style training days that include hands on practical elements.
    Lots of potential £££££

      There is a smaller version of this machine (15litres per minute) but a more powerful machine like mine will definitely help you get the job done to a better standard and more quickly. Honda engines are also renowned as being most reliable.😃👍🏼

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  3 роки тому

      When you are looking for a machine you need to consider the pressure it delivers but also the litres per minute of water it uses. A 15litres per minute machine is what you need to run a flat surface cleaner, but a 21litres per minute machine will tackle tough jobs more quickly and easily.😃👍🏼

    Hi Ash
    Love your channel, so many useful tips 👍
    Just looking at starting my own pressure washing and gutter cleaning business, hoping you can give me some guidance. With regards to your water feed for your pressure washer, do you use the customers water tap for your Driveway/Patio cleans etc or do you have a water tank in the van? (Just trying to work out what size van I will require)
    And for power for your skyvac, again do you use your customers power or have a set up in the van?
    Any help would be hugely appreciated 🙌
    Keep up the great work 😃

    Nice video Ash what would be the main pitfalls on pressure washing

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 роки тому

      Sometimes it’s not just hitting it with pressure, there can be stubborn stains that need chemical treatment. There can be difficulties if there is water gathering on the surface you are trying to clean. If there is a large amount of muck to shift, that can be tricky. Using the right type of pressure jets, maintaining your equipment, replacing parts. I don’t want to be negative, but it seems like sometimes people don’t realise that there is more to it than they think.😃👍🏼

    I've been entertaining (heavily) to get a vac system for gutters but I'm watching all of the other gutter cleaning videos and they are clean the debris from the roof also. The vacuum system isn't doing that. Can you vacuum out gutters with debris still sitting on the roofs?

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 роки тому

      symplemynd57 Yeah, sure. I also offer roof cleaning which includes cleaning out the gutters afterwards, but many people have just their gutters cleaned out as a regular maintenance job every year.😃👍🏼

    • @symplemynd57
      @symplemynd57 4 роки тому +1

      @@aemackintosh don't some, or all customers get upset if you clean the gutters and next week they are full again from debris on the roof, or leaves still falling? I guess it would be a timing thing for more leaves that haven't fallen yet. Climbing up on a 3 story roof to blow off debris sort of defeats the built in saftey factor of a gutter vac system....
