    Thank you Bob and Brad I just recently went back to work I'm 53 years old did a road test today and I guess I haven't been in a truck in awhile in my hamstrings are killing me both right and left I have a massage gun and I started doing it I very low-level and I'm doing exactly what you said and I'm already starting to feel relief my suspicion is that I might have a tear on the outer muscle of my right leg and the left leg

    Seriously, whatever current pain or issue I have, you guys put out a video for! I just had some injections in my back this past weekend, now I have pain from the muscle going down my butt cheek and around down to my knee. I have a percussion massager, but I wish I had someone else to do it for me because of the fatigue. Thanks so much guys! 👍🏼

    Hamstrings are important. My area of tightness and occasional brief pain is just above my knee. I am unsure if that is a tendon or muscle from running and biking but could you explain the problem and advice for correcting?

      Quadriceps connect from upper thigh to below the patella so will be that

    Thanks for giving me the link. 😮 i just felt a pop when i was playing basketball last sunday and now there are bruises showing at the distal lateral area of my hamstring and at the back of my knee(popliteal).. could be my bicep femoris specifically was more injured.. but how will i know if its just a type 1 or type 2 or type 3 tear? Thank you

    I do a lot of sprinting training... and I have major pain in the lower hamstring like the SHORT HEAD femoris area on your diagram... (pain is even down to the outside of my knee). How would I specifically fix that lower short head portion?

      I strained my hamstring from sprints too also in lower half.
      Ice for the 48 hours after straining it.
      Then use heat... progess into self massage, then foam rolling it, then physio ball exercises.... then will be good to go (time vary depending upon every person)

      You can get inexpensive percussion massagers on Amazon. They work just as well.

      Your hands will fatigue. If you have this problem get the help you can afford.
