This video also helps me to understand why so many of my fitness class participants cannot seem to stretch one leg straight back - because of weak hip flexors and slack/tired Gluteous muscles - honestly it's like an epidemic so this is so helpful.

Wow you guys, this video on the nagging hammy instead of a full-on tear was super helpful. I've been dealing with this for a while and I'm so glad to know about strengthening the glutes so that my hamstrings can breathe again! Thanks guys!

Wow, interestingly I had that numb feeling with pain and I accidentally did the thing but I just rotated my foot completely like till I felt I cant no more just laying down on bed on my stomach. Now I know the science and miraculously I just searched this on UA-cam and found out u just uploaded it 2 hours ago. 😂 Maybe universe wants me to write this here for anyone having this issue, this really helps.

This might be just me but, it seems like you guys seem to know my injuries and decide to make a video about it. Thank you so much for all the informational content and the constant laughs in between. Glad this channel is growing well deserved. I’ve been a viewer for more then 2 years now

The last two suggestions for running, The shorter stride and forefoot landing, not heel strike I was just figuring out for myself. It's so great for me to have you confirm those two !! I will of course try the exercises too. I was starting to wonder why my hamstring strain wasn't going away. Great explanation, Thank you so much.

This explains a lot. Another of your videos showed me that I was slamming my heels down when I walk, and going more forward helps a ton with the pain. I had been in physical therapy for 8 months and made no real progress even though we were working the glutes like crazy, and now I know why!!!! My hip flexors are super tight. I'm going to do these hip flexor exercises every day now, and combined with continuing the glute workouts and remembering not to slam my heels down on every step, I actually feel downright hopeful.

Very helpful information. Particularly the role gluteal muscles and hip flexors play in tight hamstrings. Thank you both so much!

I haven’t worked out in years and after going too hard too fast, I injured myself and was out for 3 weeks. Now I’m looking for low impact and targeted muscles exercises and I love that you guys have a video for every thing I need!
