    Following this instruction (very carefully) has massively helped me manage my achilles tendonitis - more specifically the pain/discomfort! Great video!

    Hi Bob And Brad, you guys have helped me with other 60+ yr. old body parts, but now it’s the Achilles and I have a big bump on the back of my heel. (Haglund’s bump???) It started with just Achilles pain, no bump, I don’t wear heels, I was jumping around a little exercise wise, but am a good stretcher and very limber! Any suggestions. Worst time is walking down stairs in the morning, but once I warm up I’m pretty good.

      Hmm, we haven't got a video on that yet, however I will add that to our to do list! We do like the TENS unit for treatment! Here is a link to that program in case you're interested: www.bobandbrad.com/health-programs/tens-for-pain-management

    How often would you recommend doing this per week??

    • @BobandBrad
      @BobandBrad  6 місяців тому

      You could use it up to three times a day, however if it causes new pain or more pain, please discontinue using it for a while and cut down to once a day.

    My fingers tend to get in deeper into the side of the tendon (and therefore hurts more) than any of the attachments on the gun, is that normal?

    Can you pull a muscle by using the gun too aggressive? Just did a couple of minutes quite aggressive on my calve muscle and now it feels very stiff and almost like the muscle “locked” itself.. are there any contra indicators for now using a gun like this?

      Prehab it with loading, mate. Tons and tons of eccentric single leg calf raises down to neutral. Once you’re at 3 sets of 20, add weights.

      Day after this comment I tore my bicep clean off the bone n had to have surgery. All I been able to do has been basically what you said and slept a shit tonne due to painkillers, seems to have cleared up, first time the tendon hasnt had lumps on in years

    Apparently massaging achilles tendinitis is "old science" and can make things even worse. I'm not physio so I don't know the science. Would like to hear you guys' view on that.

    My old man twisted his ankle while playing basketball just to have his old lady tear her ligament when she twisted her ankle in hole just to confuse a some dude that thought they were cat’s and ask if “someone hurt their paw” funny right?
