I would agree, because no one really does what he does as well as he does. He's like the best of Venti and Sucrose in one character,@@alatus_knight . Neuvillette might be a beast, but we're spoiled for choice with DPS units, and even Hydro DPS units - Ayato, Yelan, Kokomi, Tartaglia... they all do what Neuvillette does.... maybe not as well but well enough. I used Ayato National in the top half of Floor 12 this latest Abyss and it was pretty well suited (that team features Kazuha).

I don't have both. I'm going for Kazuha. He is my anticipated character since I started playing the game. But neuvelette is also a top tier character. Will try for him in next re-run
yeah kahzuha is a long standing improvement for 1 of my teams he is a perfect replacement for sucrose on my xianling tartag team
Kazoo single handedly boosted my account beyond what any one other unit has, maybe with the exception of Nahida but for different reasons.
Kazoo is also just hella based.
DPS characters are replaceable.
Excellent Support characters (like Kazuha) are more future-proof.

As someone who has both and loves both of them, I really recommend Kazuha especially if you're still starting out. His versatility means he can fit in almost any team you can think of and he'll add a lot of value.

Thing is that I haven't played genshin for long yet. I started merely a few months ago and I lack a lot of characters that could be really helpful like Kazuha, Nahida, Yelan etc.
I was thinking about getting arlecchino too but most likely will not this time, simply because I have several other Pyro chars already ^^

Getting EM VV pieces is pure agony
Agreed, but you don't need bespoke VV sets (with EM) unless you're trying to 36* the Abyss. A VV set on Kazuha is good enough to clear Abyss 12.
Note: Level 90 Kazuha, 8/8/8 talents, and level 90 Favonius Sword or Iron Sting, with +20, 5* VV set - regardless of sub stats - is what I use and my Kazuha is a beast.

Sorry, @@DynamicDuo002 , it means the artefact is levelled to its maximum level. You infuse other artefacts into a 5* artefact to level it up. +20 is the highest. I hope that clears it up. :)
Keep an eye on the 4* pieces, and you’ll get a workable set quicker. Also, strongbox for hyper farming.

If you don't have Kazuha, I'd pull for him dude completely transformed the open world exploration for me. Being able to group enemies on skill is just too valuable for exploration imo, and he is still meta as the best anemo shredder. So yeah, tough decision if you don't have one of them but if I were in that situation I'd pull for Kazuha.
Missed both of these guys during their last reruns, but I gotta go all in on Neuvillette. Been in love with his kit since his trial run

@@morecroutonsplease4582 because he is a very easy candidate for vertical investment. Even just C1R1 is extremely powerful. This goes double if you already have Furina. I also happen to be a big fan if his appearance, play style, and backstory
I have both Kazuha and Neuvillette. I love Neuvillette, but pulling Kazuha changed my account and the strength of ALL my teams, so I def agree with the conclusions in the video.
I'm planning on getting Neuv's C1, but I'm definitely waiting for the 4.6 announcements before I used any of my saved wishes. It's just like Hoyo to release a tempting new character after an amazing banner like this 😅

@@light37377It depends if you're using other teams that deal swirl-able (cryo, pyro, hydro, electro) elemental damage + if you're fighting against multiple enemies that can be sucked in by Kazuha's skill

its nice to see someone acknowledge how many resources it takes to buidl the showcase Kazuha. one thing forgotten is how 1/3 of Kazuha's OP stuff is locked behind c2.

Not really. Kazuha is one of the easiest to build, without a doubt. All you need are em pieces and favonius sword, and granted, you might not have fav sword, but you're eventually bound to get one. For the time being, you can run er sands and iron sting. And you absolutely Don't need freedom sworn or c2. Freedom sworn js good don't get me wrong, but gbe difference between something like xianyun sig and oathsworn eye is wayyy bigger than freedom sworn and fav. C2 is good, but a lot of teams just don't benefit it, and even the teams that benefit from it don't need it. Kazuha is a pretty complete character at c0 without sig.

I am newer to the game and a bit confused as to how you can get a character with gems.
I know you can use the star dust (I wasted a lot before I found out), and just got my charachter from that.
Does he mean using gems for wish pulls? Because I do them as often as I can. Got 5 characters during lantern rite.
But I am hearing folks say "wish for" this charachter... But how can you ensure a wish for a specific one?
I wish a knew someone that plays.
@@r.sexton3454 yes, primogems are what people use to pull. you can't guarantee the character you want 100% of the time-- you might get lucky, but usually you have to win your 50/50, which is a 50% chance you'll get the five star you want. If you lose, you have a 100% percent guarantee for the next character, but it still can take up to 90 pulls(160 primogems per pull, so it can add up to 14400 primogems if you're unlucky). In genshin there these currencies called primogems that you can use to get intertwined fates (pink and blue balls). You can use these to get limited characters when they appear. You can also get these intertwined fates from spending ur stardust at paimon’s bargain.
@@r.sexton3454hey so primogems are super easy once explained, essentially every month a new limited banner appears, currently that's the Xiao and Yaemiko banner
For that month you can get that character off the banner from getting a 5 star wish and winning your 50/50 (meaning you have a 50% chance of getting the character on the banner you wished for or a standard character) once you lose your 50/50 your guaranteed to get the 5 star character you want by wishing and getting another 5 star. Keep in mind you can just win the character you want without losing a 50/50, as well as it takes at most 90 pulls to get one 5 star but can be earlier.
Using that knowledge you spend your primo gems on the banner of characters you'd really like to get and go from there
I was pumped to get Kazuha for so long as Sucrose was one of my main characters since I started playing, but now that I have C1R1 Neuvillette, Furina, and Jean, I don't see as much value in him as I used to. I'm trying to save for Skirk so I'm not sure if I'll pull for Kazuha now, hopefully i don't regret it.
I'm a bit in the same situation because I've already 36 starred Abyss three times with spread+hyperbloom Alhaitham, and Furina boosted melt that makes Kazuha a bit redundant. Sucrose is also my most built Anemo unit.
I'm thinking to pull Xianyun on her rerun as my next Anemo 5* support; might even go off-meta DPS Xianyun since I somehow got a C6 Faruzan from standard banner pulls.

I would say if your sucrose is completely built you don’t have to get kazuha. I have him and he’s really good, but so is Sucrose. Go for new characters and stuff.
So... I don't know when or if Skirk will run, and she won't run in 4.5, so you have a whole patch to save minimum, which is plenty if all you want is C0 Skirk. Moreover, Kazuha and Neuvillette are in the later half of 4.5, which means you will know who is running in 4.6 before you have to make a decision. So, you can wait on this choice, but I would still pull for Kazuha. Having built both Kazuha and Sucrose, I would say Kazuha is a 5* Sucrose with better grouping, better exploration, and better resistance shred. I have both built and I never use Sucrose (C2) because Kazuha just does her job better.
I've heard the argument that you don't need both Sucrose and Kazuha... and that's technically correct because you never NEED any one character in Genshin, you always have options. True, we're spoiled for choice now, for the Abyss, and you don't need Kazuha on two of the best Abyss team out there: Alhaitahm Quickbloom and Raiden National.
And for anyone debating Sucrose or Kazuha, I would say that Sucrose DOES NOT replace Kazuha. It's like saying you don't need Neuvillette because you already have Barbara because she is also an on-field hydro DPS with a catalyst, who you can get to C6 for free. The gap between Kazuha and Sucrose isn't that pronounced, but I hope I have made my point: Just as Neuvillette is clearly better at the DPS role, because he's tuned to be better, Kazuha is a better Sucrose.
So, form your opinion... but my advice is don't cheat yourself out of Kazuha just because you have Sucrose. Sucrose is a placeholder for Kazuha until you get Kazuha.
Thanks for removing my doubts. As a new player who doesn't have either, I will go for Kazuha. Already got Furina and Xingqui as awesome hydro characters. I have been saving fragile resin so i afford to spend them on farming artifacts for kazuha.
I'm so incredibly glad that I don't face this question. Thankfully I already have Neuvillette so Kazuha is the one I need, I'm just worried he came too soon and I won't have the resources to get Kazuha. I was kinda banking on him only showing up in another 2-3 months.

As i have a c6 Kuki (also have Nahida with her BIS weapon), i want a Neuvillette so badddds but, I'm a solid Nilou bloom team addict so I might take the seat for this one and wait for Kokomi or Furina (as I've always lost on their banner 😢😢😢) (PS. also have a Kazu boi with his BIS weapon so if you're looking for a sign to go for this superb support character, go for kazu boi!!! Also, think about the characters u have and what u need the most... This banner is a DMG DEALER vs SUPPORT CC)

Kazuha is life changer, I wouldn’t know if I would survive without him early in the game. For early players I would really recommend him. Personally gonna see if Arlechinno is in the 1st or 2nd phase then I’ll pull for Neuvilette for fun haha. Good luck on your pulls next update guys!!
i will go for Neuvillete since i need a second unit for Spiral Abyss even though i still don't have Kazuha, i already got Ayato, Raiden and Nahida for hyperbloom team. i'm just a F2P player so i can just to choose one..

Well if I don't have them these are the hardest for me to pick but since I have both of them I don't need to pick. But maybe this can help you.
Kazuha - Great support, can cc, focus on elemental reaction and of best off field dps character.
Nuevi - can solo the abyss, strongest on field hydro DPS, can heal your characters if you have Amber.
I think ill pull for kazuha,as he'll help some of my favorite teams like yae aggrevate or ayaka freeze,and i dont feel like i want another carry when i already have a bunch of them,so ill get kazuha and wait on 4.6 livestream to decide what next
4.5 is almost here and I don't even have enough primogems, that's your typical f2p genshin experience.
Imma go for Neuvillette first. If I have extra wishes, then I'll try Kazuha. But I might sit Kazuha out to save for Furina instead.
Between Kazuha and Furina, I'd say Furina - especially since you want Neuvillette (who is one of the few characters who doesn't really need Kazuha... althought Kazuha would still help with grouping and hydro resistance shred). Although, I would say the top 3 characters in the game are Nahida, Furina, and Kazuha - as the most flexible and desirable supports that for the widest teams.
@@John_II Ohhhh good point there. Thanks for the advice! I'm a relatively new player so I don't have too many wishes OR characters yet, so knowing which characters to pull for is tricky.
No worries,@@ahlorachew7726 :) I'm an AR 60 player, with two years in the game. I've made so many mistakes, and one of them is pulling for characters I thought were "cool", when what I really wanted was to be able to beat the Abyss and the harder content without wanting to put my head through a wall (I have a job and a kid... I don't have time to 'git gud'). I mostly try to save people from the same traps I fell into - like building a character to level 90 with a level 90 weapon and level 8/8/8 talents only to never use them.
So, Neuvillette is in the category of extremely strong damage dealers, while Kazuha doesn't deal as much damage himself, but helps the team do more damage as a whole.
This distinction matters less in the overworld and at lower adventure ranks because the content is easier. Later on when you build Abyss teams - especially floors 11-12, need to know who is doing most of your damage (maybe it is a team effort) so you know how to cycle/rotate your characters on and off field. But I will leave it at that.
Both Kazuha and Neuvillette are worth it, even if you're new. So there's no wrong choice here. I think Kazuha is going to be more future proof than Neuvillette because DPS units tend to come and go, but Neuvillette is still always going to be super strong.
Sharkheart has a great video called "the only characters you need", which is worth a watch. Jello impact does a similar one, and both come to very similar conclusions because both understand the game very well. I just like to show up and nerd out.

yeah fact u need like 2000 resins ore more to build 1 character or double for a team based on khazuha , sticking with Neuvi for my low investment - high hyperbloom damage team .

Neuvillette doesn't need a team to clap the entire game, he is better overall. Just as new dps comes over time supports does too

C1 for Neuvillette is good and a solid investment. I can see myself using him for a long time.
But I’ve always upgraded something for Kazuha every time he’s had a banner (C0, Freedomsworn, C1) so now would it be time for that wonderful C2.
Kazuha is replaceable. Neuvillette is undisputed, the most broken character hoyo made. No need for teams, just worry about hydro resistant and immune enemies. He will still dominate the SA for years to come.
Nahh😂😂😂😂😂😂 kazuha is better and if u want a dps like neuvi pick Arlechino cuz she will be overpowering him.
How you know arlechinno will overpower Neuvilette? He the most powerful one man team, so if she really overpowers him, that would basically break the game. I also douby.mihoyo will power creep him so early on, and she is not even hydro but pyro.

In terms of this question, fortunately was easier for me, since I managed to be fortunate enough to get Neuvillette on the last 50/50 I won, and I love and adore him both as a character in story and also because as someone who is historically terrible at combat, he made clearing overworld content much more doable for me. (And came at a time when I basically only had Alhaitham and Non-C6 Noelle as my onfield DPS.)
I'll be aiming for Kazuha and am hoping to get lucky, because technically my savings were originally meant for Furina as he usually re-runs later. TT_TT
Eventually, one day, I will get C1 Neuvi though because I really do adore him - just... priorities. LOL
heres the thing, ive already pre farmed for kazuha including talent books and lvl up mats also artifacts because of sucrose. i will get kazuha to replace jean from my neuv furina jean (flex) team but i also want to get my neuv c1r1 (c0r1 currently) because zhongli is currently with my navia. its really hard to choose. i have a guarantee with 50 pity and almost 120 wishes total till 4.5 ends.

As someone who missed Kazuha on his release buy finally got him on his rerun I had no idea just how good he was and what I was missing. He instantly made my account better even at lvl 60. I did also get his weapon. I'm not sure it was necessary but got him way early so why not. I also pulled Neuvilette on his release got his C1 but missed his weapon. I tried but didn't get it. I rarely use him, even though I like him. I just have teans I like using better and Kazuha still functions as my pseudo DPS. He's just so fun to use and his shred makes especially over world combat so enjoyable. This is not a knock on Neuvilette at all, he's awesome but I couldn't imagine not having Kazuha where I could live without Neuvilette on my account.
I have both triple crowned.....Neuvi/Furina/Zhongli/Xianyun or Baizhu (all C0, 4* weapons) can clear every weekly boss, every overworld boss and Spiral Abyss (Layla/Fischl/Kazuha/Neuvi if I need Zhongli&Furina for Navia team) so having one team to clear everything is far more resource efficient
So if you need a character that will clear almost all content in the game - choose Neuvi (even if you don't have his premium team he is strong enough without them and can heal himself)
But, Kazuha's grouping & Dmg amplifying ability is just SO GOOD if you already have teams invested into and you just want to elevate the dmg further instead of building a team around a new DPS

I’m excited to get more neuvillette cons, and since I have no interest in Arlecchino, clorinde, or sigewinne I’m not too worried for remaining patches . There are a few re runs I’m waiting for but I am curious how good Arlecchino will be especially with natlan coming up and we know we’re going to get powerful pyros.
I have both. Thankfully got them both on their first banners. Was planning to aim for c1 neuvilette. But if arlecchino is coming next, then I'll have to control myself and pass for now.
i hope i can get both as my pity is 62 i am on a guarantee pull with 57 fates in my account rn , and can farm even more before the banner comes i just hope after i pull for one of them the other comes early and i in my 50/50 on it
It's funny seeing 2 characters coming at same time which I didn't wanted at first when they came since I was saving guaranteed for another character both time but I decided to wish for them I don't know what I was thinking at that time but now they've became my favourite 2 characters lol I still thank myself for wishing for them 😅

I remember not pulling for atleast a year since the first time I missed Kazuha's first ever banner, I chose to miss on characters like Raiden, Shenhe (As an Ayaka Main), and many more hyped up 5 stars on that time, and when I got him on his first rerun banner, I never regret waiting for him all. Yes, Hydro is a good element, but Anemo is better all the way even after the addition of Dendro and how it cannot be swirled
As a very new player (started during lanternrite this year, so we're still on my first patch, I am S O torn on this. I failed my 50/50 for Xaoi (got Dehya 🥲 the one I wanted least), so I have a guarantee and it's really tempting to spend it on either one of these. I think Kazuha would be great for my team (Gaming, Xingqiu and YaoYao) and I really like Neuvi. But I'll be patient and see what 4 stars they run with and what banners are coming in 4.6. Both are runner ups on my wish list but there are some I want more (mainly Baizhu but he ran such a short time ago 😭 I'll be waiting ages for the snake man)
I’ll pull for both. I’m currently with 250 wishes saved and there will be more 50-70 wishes in 4.5, so i’m pretty confident that i’ll get both
I have Neuvillette already, from a Guaranteed after losing to Qiqi on Wanderer's banner for cons. If I recall correctly, Neuvillette was coming home early for people when he was released. I'll be pulling for Kazuha since I do need him for the Neuvillette Hyperbloom team I'm building.

my plan i will do single pulls first starting from the left banner then nxt on right banner then on left banner , ik it isen't efficient but i don't wana fell like i missed a certain character cause of my choices and make it seem like a rng for self motivation

I will say this, I am glad Neuvillette is going to be in the 2nd phase because when the 4.6 showcase comes out, I'll know by then if I do want my water boy (see if I want C1 at least). I say this because I am still waiting for Alhaitham's rerun and I'll be curious to see if he gets one in 4.6. Alhaitham is my current main DPS, but I am slowly building Neuvillette to be my main DPS for Natlan. Love Alhaitham, but he's not great against Pyro foes, thank goodness I always have a healer on stand by and Noelle has decent shielding. But yeah we'll wait and see though.

I have a guaranteed kazoo which I'll get in 10-15 pulls (which I ALREADY saved lol), I think I'll save up for kokofishh or furina or someone, since so many cool characters are gonna have rerun (And fyi, yes I'm a Hu Tao main, No I WON'T pull for the 4th Fatui Harbinger)
I got a Hu Tao team with yelan, xingqiu and layla. I recently got nahida and im missing hydro either off field or on field. Would neuvilette be better for my account? Im AR 45. I like Kazuha's character more but if i get him what would i do with Nahida? I got kuki and fischl too.
I have had the opportunity to demo both Kazuha and Neuvillette during the triumphant frenzy event. Kazuha was kind of eh, he is definitely strong and reliable but kind of underwhelming. Neuvillette on the other hand was an absolute blast to play, and has since been on my wishlist.
I still think I'm going for Neuvillette seeing as I'm looking for mainly a hydro damage dealer that can work with my kuki and nahida for a bloom team. I'm mainly just trying to get a good all round bloom rotation, and seeing that Neuvillette can almost guarantee me hydro application, it is definitely helpful in my occasion.
If I made the smart choice for my account, I would pull Kazuha now. But I am going to pass on both of these for Arlecchino. It's a risk, but I suspect she will be insane and future proof since support for pyro should go up in Natlan. Based on early leaks, it's a good thing i picked up Chev.

I have neither, but the Fontaine and Hydro and badass biases are strong. Plus that I can build Sucrose, or Nahida, or Dendor traveler at any time, since I got them. So I guess my team could be (if I get him) Neuvi, Raiden, Nahida and a 4th member that I' still deciding on.
I just need to build them./desperate sarcasm of potential farming bad luck

each time a new region is introduced there will be a new OP Main DPS. But the top tier Support role usually retains its spot for really a long time. Nahida, Bennet, Kazuha & Zhongli are my must get list. I have Bennet and Nahida. Will pull for Kazuha and wait for Zhongli.
Plus, Kazuha helps a lot in the Open world.

Tbh I would love kazuha for my mono pyro klee team but honestly I like using Lynette more because I don’t have to worry about a 5 star burst animation and her taunt is really good at keeping klee alive and let’s me use the tome of eternal flow since I feel like if I got kahuza he’d kill everything before klee even gets on the field 🥲 so idk what should I do? Keep my c6 Lynette or go for c0 kazuha

Oh god this is like choosing between my parents. I either spend go with kazuha who Ive spent my whole life with reliable and whom i love or neuvillette idk him, don’t know anything about him, but he does give me more opportunities in the long run.
As a Neuvillette main since the day he came out the struggle for me is deciding whether to get his signature weapon or Kazuha to be a support for him.

I strongly disagree, any new players should go without a doubt for neuvillete, he's easy to play/build therefore for them would be a way higher value, kazuha needs knowledge with elemental reactions and still needs somewhat well build hydro,pyro etc characters so he can buff them well, I got neuvillete on my second day of playing and it carried me through challenges that's not possible for newer players.also when u play abyss u will realize, neuvillete literally never dies, over 40k hp that's a huge convenience and if u using prototype amber he'll be a healer which both weren't mentioned in the vid.

Already have Neuvillette, guess Kazuha will be my pick unless somethings changes my mind. Also have played Kazuha in events where we can use trial characters and I used those two to wreck the entire field of enemies.
I have kazuha but I’m going to c1 him. I got him on his last rerun while I was a newbie not knowing much about him. Best character, I use him all the time.
I have neither and will probably be skipping this banner lmao, I just need c1 wriothesley and cashflow supervision. If a better support for my yoimiya overload team comes out I might roll on them too.

I swear next neuvillette rerun I will get him, but right now, Kazuha is the character I need because I do not have good supports even in late game and have to many main dpss compared to supports. I also use mainly swirl teams as it is easier for me than hyper bloom.
I think Neuvilette is a great DPS, but there area a ton of DPS in the game, and Supports like Kazuha that also round up the enemies and increase the damage are few. I would go for Kazuha, but I already have both, so maybe I'm biased :P
As a day 1 Kazuha haver, Neuvillette is an easy one. I wanted him since the beginning, but I went for a rerun (can't remember whose rerun it was lol). Next on my list is Furina, as much as I love everything about Arlecchino's aesthetics.

As a raiden main , I am currently running Raiden national (Ei. Xiang, benett and Xinqui) i really want kazuha cuz i couldnt get Sara , ahaha- So, if i get kazuha , He will be a perfect role for support, because raiden struggles with multiple targets ngl

For meta-slaves who lack on-field DPS, it's a decision between Neuvi and Arlecchino.
For meta-slaves with two+ on-field DPS already, it's more about catching Kazuha and/or Furina, if they haven't yet.
Getting a top tier on-field DPS first can carry your acct tons more than having a support without any strong DPS, even if it's a stronger long-term pick. Like SharkH3art said in lots of vids, what struggling players are lacking is dmg. Some people have a "mental illness" in which they hoard limited resources if they're not confident that they'll not regret it.
Go Neuvi if you need an on-fielder, IMO. Clears content a lot easier than Bennett+Xiangling+Xingqiu, IME. Less frustration with fliers and ungrouped ranged enemies. Why group them when you can just kill 'em where they are? Less frustration with artifact domain grinding, as HP% is a super common main stat (~22% vs less than 8% for EM and Anemo/Hydro dmg). Self-sustain and survivability are huge comforts too. Just need a teammate to kill the hydro immune units, and some form of interruption resistance (shield or ability like Xingqiu's or Dehya's).
Hey Shark, just confused on who to pull, Neuvilette or wait for Furina? I have some good built dps chars like haitham, Lyney, wanderer, navia, Ganyu and even cyno. I do have yelan and xq as well but both rely on NA to apply hydro. Dont have a good hydro dps though.
it seems like you already have plenty of dps characters. if you already have yelan and xingqui you don't really need neuvillette imo. getting Kazuha would boost the damage of your dps's by enabling swirling and triggering the virodecent effect

Wriothesley is my best and prefers to have a Kadzuha in the team. Might be on another Neuvillette's rerun I will pull this man (more chances that I would like to pull C6 for Wriothesley).

If you're into clearing the abyss, the current one. I don't think kazuha can be that useful since you need a very well built characters for your kazuha team to shine while Nueve on the other hand from what I've seen doesn't need that much high investments supports. I could be wrong and I stand corrected.
As Shark said farming VV with EM is tough. Coincidently while farming for Furina; I happened to pick up perfect pieces for Nuevilette, therefore I will be picking him up while also wishing for Kaz.
Also, VV is in the same domain as maiden, which makes it not very resin dependent
