Definitely put your iso/ss/aperture labeled with your photos, I learn and am interested in seeing what settings you use for the specific shots you take. Thanks. I watch many photographers on UA-cam but I must say you are my favorite when it comes to your style and editing. So cinematic and film like. It’s amazing.
first of all, we shared the same name. Secondly, I was hoping I'm a street photographer like you. 4 years ago I really had a big enthusiast in street photography but I need to give up and working from 9-6 now. I don't have a camera right now, I only have my phone which is a Nokia X6. A few weeks ago I watched your video, and damn you triggered my old dream and I really want to dedicate my weekend to take pictures again. I'm starting my medium account and want to talk about street photography as well. You can check my medium in this link if you have time : faizalfahmibaelul.medium.com/hometown-project-remember-the-old-dream-24afc3bd24bc Thanks for being there and inspired me again on what I used to love even though I really not a good photographer back then until now.
These last days I've went through a lot of street photography channels. You're on the top 3 ! Great eye, no overtalk, nothing but cool (or great) photos ! Keep it up mate !
Hey man, just wanted to tell you, I throughly enjoyed this new format :) Keep at it man!! Thank you for being one of the Street Photographers on UA-cam that is always keeping it real
Great video Faizal! I agree with trying to find the right format for your audience but i think you nailed it. I started a channel just for fun a couple months ago and its hard to find the right fit. Keep up the great work.
What I like about these types of videos is that I usually think about what photos I would get if I were faizal, because I always see other scenes that I would take photos of.
I love how seeing photographers embracing the rust. Sometimes you have days where its a bit of a struggle. Especially if it's been a while. I haven't shot in probably a year now with everything going on. I'm afraid I'm gonna be starting at the beginning once i start again 😂
Re: the image of the couple with the masks pulled down. The crushed milk box is also the same color and shape of the dude’s mask creating even more parallels between that billboard and the couple in the foreground. Yeah, really cool shot.
I have been watching and studying your videos for sometime now and I just want to thank you. Studying street photography fulltime and moving to a city called Brisbane City here in Australia. Thank you and keep up the great work Bless x
You're an inspiration with these POVs. I did POVs during my trip in Seoul, South Korea earlier this year but never had the energy to edit the clips. Only got into editing now because I keep watching your vids and I finally posted my first episode. Much love from the Philippines! 🙏
Heck that 13:34 photo is nice as!! So many layers. That technique also sounds cool - raising up the camera in preparation. Kudos to you, you sound so chill and not scared of people at all, I need to learn that for street photography! Loved the video :)
hello i like your shot at 13:30 anyway i feel the empty space on the left of the picture is sort of disturbing to me. Did you think to reframe it a little? maybe in square?
Omg I love that shot of the old couple so much to say about it! I'm currently studying photography A level and these shots really inspired me because I never considered trying street photography but maybe I will now.
First video of yours I’ve seen, but loved it. Hearing your thought process and knowing what you were wanting to achieve was super helpful. Have a new subscriber
I can do that! They're made for fujifilm raw files since it uses the "classic chrome" color profile in lightroom so I think it should work with the X100T! Let me know if you have trouble though
No reason to apologize - was good video. Im pretty sure it get better in the future. I miss New York so much. And hope I can visit it again when this pandemic is over (or almost over). And it was nix to take a walk with you in this video. My favorite photo is with the billboard Love is the answer. .....Greetz from 🇩🇪
Fascinating walk-through in Times Square, and interesting shots of people. I like the lady coming from the Subway and the couple where the gentleman has his eyebrow raised. Thanks for your analysis. Do you use zone focusing on any of your photos? It's incredible what you are coming up with in your photos using the X100V.
You probably dont give a damn but does any of you know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I love any help you can offer me
@Ian Jadiel I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hey man, just starting off and I love your channel👌🏽 Just got a Sony a7iii and I noticed you have one. Any tips or websites where I can find a good lens on a budget 😅
Excellent video! I’m a street photographer living in the NYC metro area across the Hudson River in New Jersey. I was just in Times Square four days ago shooting.
mannn you really like silver fuji versions. Can you tell me how's your silver x100v holding up with scratches and dents? I really want one too sooo neattt!
Hi there ! Just to let you know that I'm from France and I juste loveeeee to watch all of your videos ! :) Would you think it be possible for you to make a street photography video again with your x100f and try to comment how do you feel about it (about the differences with the 100v...)
amazing work! I noticed you have a portra 400 preset, but have you experimented with a portra 400 film simulation settings in camera? was wondering if you notice any difference.
I mirrored the Portra 400 simulation alongside multiple Portra presets that I’d purchased over the years AND genuine Portra shots I’d taken myself. It’s alarmingly close. The JPEG’s are just incredible especially in the correct light and with the correct exposure. I even import the JPEG’s into capture and Lightroom (don’t judge me) and tweak them about 5% if that as there’s nothing I need to do with them.
Another really good video! Would you ever do one, where it was like looking at all the gear/cameras etc you take out with you when you go out? Think it'd be an interesting video!
I don't bring too much gear with me when I go out shooting, usually either the gopro and whatever camera I'm using, but I can do a What's in my Camera Bag type video where I just talk about all the gear I use
Explaining your thoughts as you go along looking for photos is just a great way to grow as a photographer... We are really all learning together...
This may be one of your best videos. Keep on doing this kind of content, amazing pics and also great comments. Cheers from Argentina.
Loved hearing your commentary and the thinking you put into your photographs!

thanks so much for your support!
Awesome! The photo with the curious eyebrow killed me haha! And the last shot with the kids and the steam is wonderful! Good job!
Great video Faizal! I agree with trying to find the right format for your audience but i think you nailed it. I started a channel just for fun a couple months ago and its hard to find the right fit. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for your support and feedback! I think this format is here to stay
love this format bro!
Thanks! We'll keep it going then
Can you make a “what’s in my camera bag” vid?
Love this new format, excited to see more like it!
thank you! more to come!
What I like about these types of videos is that I usually think about what photos I would get if I were faizal, because I always see other scenes that I would take photos of.
"Keep my finger on the trigger" Haha 2020 in a nutshell.
exactly lol
oh yuh new faizal upload
This kind of format is really nice for videos. It's really relaxing with you talking over what you're doing
Good to know!

I really enjoyed this new commentary format. It’s cool to hear your thoughts on that photo of all of those elements coming together was excellent 👌
Raw and authentic ... love it. Its great to hear your thought process as you approach each attempt. Keep it up.
This is the content we need. Goood stuff bro.
Thanks for the love!
Listening to your voice is like drinking a milkshake...smooth and soothing.
I simply loved the voice over, your thoughts about the shots, amazing work, Faizal!!

Wow, a lot of nice shots! I hope you make more of these videos!
Love this format, and as a street photographer I love your eye!
One of my fav vids now

So many beautiful color photos Faizal. NYC is really a heaven for street photography 💯
New York street photography always unique since ever .

Couple photo at @12:49 is killer. Good work.
I love the new format and that Portra simulation!
Thank you!

Awesome shots! Would be interesting to see your edit workflow with your analog presets! Btw are they compatible with the x100t sensor?
I can do that! They're made for fujifilm raw files since it uses the "classic chrome" color profile in lightroom so I think it should work with the X100T! Let me know if you have trouble though
This was awesome! I learnt so much from your thought process. Thank you
Glad you liked the new format!
Great shots! Love the colours.
Great as always
I love hearing your commentary

thank you, helpful and great quality. Man you are the best advertiser for the X100V ;)
Take care and cheers from Luxembourg
Haha, if someone wants to send me more cameras to use....lol appreciate the love!
Geez, so I guess the longer you shoot the faster your walk gets too. Hopefully one day I'll get there. Awesome video as always! Love the commentary!
You are so good bro.. Crazy shots..
What are your settings plzzz? And what lens you're using?
Thanks, enjoyed watching. You did good and your photos were easy going. I liked that.
If you don’t mind me asking, what find to you use for your text in these videos?
Fascinating walk-through in Times Square, and interesting shots of people. I like the lady coming from the Subway and the couple where the gentleman has his eyebrow raised. Thanks for your analysis. So glad I came across your channel, awesome video such a great format! You’ve made me want the x100v even more so!
Smartly done. Great video. Thanks.
amazing shots
great photo editing, did you use your presets?
Dude! All your shots are amazing! Very impressive! I loved it!
New York is such a beautiful city!! And this camera is great 🤙🏽 definitely gonna keep an eye out for it
Nice colors! Could you make a video on how you edit your digital pictures to look like film? That would be really appreciated. Cheers!
Nice photos, have you tried the film recipes from fujixweekly? His portra recipes look really good.
Did you use the same settings the whole time? Or do you tend to change settings while to your out? Great videos btw.
Hey man! Great video! Which strap and thumb rest do you use?
loving the new analysis and the super funny bits in throw in the middle 🤣👍
glad you enjoyed!
You probably dont give a damn but does any of you know a way to log back into an instagram account??

@Ian Jadiel It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass :D
love the pictures😍😍😍☺️ what film simulation your using???
Really enjoyed this, thanks!
Hey man, just starting off and I love your channel👌🏽
Just got a Sony a7iii and I noticed you have one. Any tips or websites where I can find a good lens on a budget 😅
I feel like detailed analysis while shooting is distracting. That isn’t to be confused with narrating, or doing a voice over. Great stuff!
I agree, your videos are relaxing. Keep it up.👍
Awesome video as always! 😌❤
Excellent video!
I’m a street photographer living in the NYC metro area across the Hudson River in New Jersey.
I was just in Times Square four days ago shooting.
Nice! Were you by any chance photographing a certain demonstration happening there? haha
great images man keep up the good work! you really got some great ones but as always keep shooting. The best image is the next one.
the eagle shape at 10:00, you missed it, it could be nice juxtaposition frame
Love this faizal
mannn you really like silver fuji versions. Can you tell me how's your silver x100v holding up with scratches and dents? I really want one too sooo neattt!
Really dig the simulation you are using here. Would you share it? Also do you shoot wide open or is that at f8?
What neckstrap are you using for the x100v? I don’t think I see the exact one in your gear list. Thanks!! Great photos btw 😁
Good try Faizal. Love the couple photo with the cartoon background. That one is a keeper.
Yes you have been walking very fast today🤣great shots 💖💖
Both impressive and inspiring images Faizal. I must say 42nd st. certainly has changed since the 70's.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
what neck strap are you using in this video? I love how low profile it is
Would you recommend to get a Fuji x100v when I have a Nikon Z6?

Hi man! Thanks so much for you videos. May I ask what video camera you use while going around?
Love it!!
Just curious on what you are using for AF. Single dot in the middle or what?
You really should check out the engineered garments store in the garment district!
Love your colors in the pictures. What Kind of filmsimulation do you use for it? Greetings 🤗
Always using Classic Chrome, but then I do my own edits on top!
that's shooky with the raised eyebrow hahaha! amazing photos!
You should contact insta360 to test out the x2. Pretty sure you’ll let you test it out.
I'm still trying to get that gopro sponsorship 😞🤦♂️
@@FaizalWestcott why chase one brand when you can have multiple options. They have a gopro style rig also.
what's the deal youtube? why didnt you suggest this channel before. 😒brilliant work mate. love the commentary.
the eyebrow shot, and the one of the little girl, were they shot in continuous mode? or were you pressing the AE button in single point mode?
i love videos like this! :)
If you had a lav mic and a recorder like zoom in your pocket you could do hybrid live commentary and post commentary perhaps?
I think you're on to something there
Love this video!
Which one of preset you use on shot of preview to this video?
MINT
amazing work! I noticed you have a portra 400 preset, but have you experimented with a portra 400 film simulation settings in camera? was wondering if you notice any difference.
