It is very interesting and helpful to read/hear why you think a shot worked or didn’t work, what would have made it better, etc. It makes for a lot more engaging video. Thank you.
Cheers Mike, it’s Sean in Atlanta! I really, really liked this video! London is one of my favourite cities in the entire world and I miss being there at this time of year, so thank you for showing me all my favourite bits! I have one little suggestion for you, please. You started doing this at the beginning of your video and then it kind of tapered off… I really like when you take the image and show it in the SOOC image and then the RAW filtered image. And I hope this will not hurt your feelings, but a lot of the SOOC images I enjoyed a little bit more than the altered RAW images! You obviously have the touch when it comes to setting up your cameras parameters! Thank you again for an awesome video, and I look forward to watching every one of your upcoming videos! Happy Holidays! Sean
Great video and great images! London is Awesome. I know you have been to my home town of Southend and leigh on sea and for street photography too. Might sound strange but Im still not too confident in doing street photography in my local area. Something I will have to work on 👍
did you try to crop out the people at #6:37 by any chance and used the shadows only? maybe with the lady on the right as the only real person in the shot?
Discovered you through Jeremy's instagram post of your 85mm vid and I have to say, some of the scenes in this video would have loved an 85mm lens... :D
Love you videos, I've learnt a lot. Seeing you out in London makes me wanting to go, as photography really helps my mental health. I am planning going London tomorrow if it's not raining to much. Merry Christmas.
At 9:23 yes I think it’s a bit too much going on. While the leg on the left is interesting, I think it needs to be sacrificed for the greater good, and the frame cropped to center the column.
You any time shooting with other camera’s to.? Streets i meen then. I love my lumix G9 but on tje streets always walk with the X100T 😅 maybe you know how to change it up ones every 2 weeks or so.
Good video. Tried portrait mode. For me, it seems to be very "dead". Not much action or communication. Sad. Would love a media only with Street Photography. Right now, I enjoy VERO. Instagram is too busy with other things than Photography. But still there, like so many others. Keep up the good work 🤩👍
I went from X100V to a Q2M. While it is an upgrade in most aspects, I find there's a shutter lag when using continuous very high speed (even with a high speed £120+ memory card) and I do miss the flip-out screen. The image quality is superb and I don't regret the 'upgrade' but just because it's a Leica it doesn't mean it doesn't have its faults!
Hi Mike, I like the idea of your sponsor Portrait Mode, but confused by some aspects. Why are they called “Portrait Mode“ when I think the majority of photographers would like to be able to view images in Landscape style - I know that landscape images can be viewed, but unless I’m missing something, it’s impossible to get them to “fill the screen“ of my iPad. Also, when I’m looking at a particular artists images, I can’t scroll through them with a single swipe, I have to go down and individually click “more from this artist“ rather than just an intuitive single action, to see the next one. Why overlay the shooting information - Shutter Speed etc. I’d sooner be able to view the uncluttered image. Hopefully some of these issues are down to the site being new - I’d like to sign up to it and contribute, but currently frustrated by these aspects - your thoughts will be appreciated - Peter.
dude the rain drops in the begining were amazing to capture cool photos
The shadow figures at 6.34 are brilliant!
loving it all mike
Another amazing video with stunning photos! For sure I will try out Portraitmode!!
I like the honesty of this video. It shows the reality of what we do!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
That was a day of some bloody good light 😍
Great work Mike, as always. Thanks.
Great video Mike. Keep up the good work.

Note taken, I’ll do more of that!
Cheers for sharing good to get a trip down memory lane miss London 👏
Really good pics! Love to see more!
OMG! The places you walked into throughout the video. I was just there last week 😍 I really wanna go back to London 😭
The lady in the beam of light at 7 dials is 👌👌👌👌
Maybe not ground breaking but that pic of the three ladies’ shadows, absolutely my favourite of the day.
09:01 AMAZING !
I’m very lucky to work in London and have a Fuji X100V on the way. Thanks for the inspiration.
lovely images! london is definitely near the top of my street photo bucket list :D

Great video again 👍🏻😄
Photo at 4:18 made me smile. Great video 👍
There might be a mistake here. I can see only 15 minutes of content from 8 hours that were advertised in the title
😂😂😂
😂 wow

Canon r6 or Fuji x100v for travel photography?
X100v
Should I clarify - photo only street / travel = x100v
If it’s landscape travel or video too then definitely r6

Hi! Preferred focusing technique?
Which film simulation are you using here?
Pictures were all shot on the x100V?
Great snaps, I hate it when the lighting is completely flat and there's no contrast or shadows. Only option seems to be to shoot in B+W
9.25 not messy as such but you could crop that right down the middle and use the RHS? Enjoyed this :-)
