"The only time you will accept to make your life worth while is... Forever?" I love this sentence so much! Moreover said by the wolf, the incarnation of death, of the end. More than anyone, he know that the fact that something end isn't meaningless. And it cyrcle back with the 4 most important words for the wolf "once upon a time".
I always loved that Ylfa’s arc seemed very straightforward: a traditional coming of age story. It is in a way, but more so it’s an arc about learning to accept reality as it is, especially Death. So freaking good! (Whoops, sorry for cursing, lol)
WELL. DONE. They are so richly expressive, more so than some more experienced animatic makers. I immediately felt empathy for Red when I saw her face, from frame one. Great job.
I love the way you've done the wolf. The mix of softness - the fur and the steps, the sharpness of the teeth and the angles of the eyes, to the way when sitting it, he, towers over Ylfa. The red outline on the blue-black also works really well.
This was paced nicely! I especially liked the shot of the wolf's face getting sharper when he talks about his,, mission? Purpose Thanks for posting this!
This is awesome! I love the art style, or medium, I'm not sure what it's called, but it looks like it's done on paper, which adds to the entire animatic. Good job!
:Spoiler CW: Ylfa is my favourite character ever! (and the big bad wolf ngl) And, I don't want to say this is because I'm a therian, but it is definitely one of the driving factors. Ylfa's theme is kinda about nature and "monstrosity" as humans describe it. _(I got distracted halfway through writing this trying to hunt a hawk fly TwT)_ To me, the big bad wolf represents death, yes, but I believe it also represents nature in a way. Brennan has to be at least subconsciously knowing this too, seeing that the big bad wolf's antithesis, one might say, was a pig that loved industry, machines, smog that kills planets, greed, and more. All stuff that is usually seen as antonyms for nature. Of course, I bet the other character's are interesting as well, but none of them connect to me in the same way that Ylfa does. The closest to Ylfa might be Pib, but it's just not the same. Grandmas's quote, “The real friends, the ones that make miracles happen, the ones greater than any treasure you could find on any adventure, they see the wolf in you and love it too.” Literally made me cry. I bet part of the reason is because that *I* have found a friend that sees the wolf in me (really I'm a fox, but I'm continuing the metaphor) and indeed loves it too. And for me, them. I guess the other part is just that moment was filled with emotion and meaning and I may have been feeling a little bit sentimental. In conclusion, I love Ylfa and the big bad wolf and I'm a therian and uhhhh, I really love the Neverafter. The only terror I find in the neverafter is the sleepless nights I have pondering the ideas and themes within it,
I love the way the wolf circles around Ylfa when saying “him too”, it’s such a cool visualization of the scene

comment for the algorithm gods! look at this and WEEP for it rules!
This was definitely nicely done! 1:27 when the Wolf is sitting so upright like that is a very cool way of animating that scene.

Monkey's paw curls another finger and grants your wish.
AI art creates it all for you and it's both disturbing and The uncanny valley.
