true but Hera + t90 already won a 2v5 with no gold and the map was rigged against them. they'd have to be against like 1300-1500s for it to be somewhat close
@@andrewstanford4071 Coop doesn't mean 2 players/civs. It means 2 people playing one player in the game simultaneously, being able to control the same units (not sure if its' possible in AOE2 though). So they wouldn't have more res/2civs/more pop this way, just more micro potential (if they properly comunicate on who uses which units)
Side note: it's a bummer that so many people are focused on Arabia... Of the water civs are really cool. ie. Vikings, Japanese, Koreans, Byzantines, etc. Of so many fun maps out there of Islands, Continents, Hybrid type maps.
I think the gold advantage goes away over time, seeing the scores and populations. To me 5 players booming is better than 1 player booming with 5 tcs, 5 times the apm and 5 times the population. I think Hera will eventually find a way to win this kinds of matchups, and it will involve early aggression.
You know what might be interesting in this kind of situation, Hera? "Unlimited" pop but you limit yourself on 150 vills or something similar. Thus the emphasis on keeping your army alive is greater and not just throwing it to the meat grinder :)
hey hera, a bit of advice from a noob that might be useful ! personally i think going ghulams is what killed you, reason i say this is because you can justify 100 vills if you have a mass of handcanons that don't die. so for example 40 handcanons that you keep alive are never gonna cost you rss again. so your 100 vils will be enough to fund the remaining 60 pop of camels / siege. ghulam felt good initially because they do provide the spike they did but at the end of the day they will keep dying nad getting replaced. having 200 pop imo means you have to think of your population more strategically than a typical game where we go with 120-140 vills cuz it's the natural thing. especially against less experienced players, you can bet on your hand cannons not dying and so be able to live 40 hand cannons as permanent mass. so the idea would be in conclusion 40-50 hand cannons 100 vils 50-60 camels/ siege.

Probably take out green first, vikings was melting your units quickly. Probably get Hand cannons earlier to counter the viking push. The extra range on shatagni is beneficial. And hand cannons benefit from additional armor technology with this civ. But yeah well played.
I think even one player makes it to imp untouched, it's extremely hard to win. Even if they're making wrong units, they take away 20-30 of your army to deal with them, two players untouched mean 40-60 of your army needs to deal with them which gives rest of the players a chance to come back.
Great game, 5 on 1 is a bit difficult when your opponents are that strong with a collective 1,000 population. 5 people all clicking and watching different parts of the screen vs just you. Perhaps you should get a 10,000 gold at the start, then every 20 minute mark - Great fight though.

Sure, he gets ahead to a really strong boom, but even if he has a sick 5TC boom, he remains even with his opponents even if they are on 1 TC. Even just adding in some light cav (especially with Hindustanis) to pressure someone while going into a boom yourself I think would lead to better results for Hera
At the start of the match, I thought Hindustanis would be a strong civ for this setting. Part of the reason for this is the fact that Grand Trunk Road improves market exchange rate to 10% (better than guilds, not quite as good as Saracens). Hindustani double gold comps are also quite strong. But it probably would have been better to go hand cannons (which can do well generally even if they're strongest against infantry - as I understand it, Hindustani hand cannons trade well against jannisaries) over ghulams (which are more a dedicated anti-archer unit than a generalist). So seeing Hera avoid getting grand trunk road seemed like a mistake to me. Also missed getting two-hand saw (though that one is more reasonable to miss imo).
i think that it could be a great idea to put for example a 3v3 where you control 3 civs at the same time against 3 players (I dont know if that is technicaly possible) i think if that is possible it would be so entertaining because at least for me is not that interesting when noobs win for ur population limit or for faster development anyways is just an opinion I love ur content
I think a better strategy would have been to idle to get to Feudal faster and spend those resources, or at least like 18 pop Feudal then buy up to castle. If that 5 TC boom started a few minutes earlier it could have been really devastating.
too slow ... the advantage is really the 10k gold, buy your way to imp, fast boom, 100 cavalry units, hit whatever is strong. while booming, semi wipe out 3 of the 5 players before they even reach imp. the other 2 , mass invasion as soon as they hit imp, no time for them to develop. Once you got at least 3 players imp and developed their eco and military, very hard to fight simultaneously. You dont have the resource. Gotta take out at least 1 player early. Take over their market for trade. Hopefully enemies dont know they can delete players market lmao
