You are not a musician of any kind are you. The spike helps but you kinda have to crouch down and if you are a musician OF ANY KIND you know crouching and playing is very uncomfortable
To my understanding, this piece of music is describing what the storm look like in nature. I personally think that this is the only version that I heard so far can truly express "The Storm".
Something about the way she plays 0:53, the crescendo specifically just makes me smile all the time. Its just a simple crescendo but she does something in her sound that just makes that so thrilling. Maybe its the particular sound of her instrument specifically, Its not the slur between the d and c# but its just something and i love it ❤
Dear everyone saying this is too fast: You're boring Lighten up. This is not the fastest it's been played This is a different take an an incredible work. Enjoy it.
If everyone would just play it like the others that would be really boring! So why can't all just enjoy the difference in this masterpiece and the master (Anne Sophie Mutter) herself🤗
Wow, I’ve been coming back to this interpretation again and again over the years. Music can be, to me at least, an expression. It’s a way of making you ƒęęɭ the emotions, the story, the vignette, the play. Listening to this version, I’m transported in the center of a summer storm. The intensity, the wind, the exhilaration, the thunder, the lightning. You feel the energy, it’s an actual physical feeling, it courses through the body. The rhythm of it, the surge, the power. The waves, coming and crashing into the ship. I find myself holding my breath at the end, just coursing through this like I was on a 🎢 roller coaster. This is art, true art. Played masterfully by true artists. Brava, bravo, bravi!!!
A.S. Mutter playing Summer Presto Is the greatest rendition of Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons in the past hundred years; this is the opinion of my grandmother who was born in 1897 and myself, both of us of erudite ears...The gods sit in awe when when she plays this piece and her spirit soars even beyond Their realm ...
..wunderschön, danke sehr. (das ist einfach genial !! ..ich habe so eine präzise Schnelligkeit noch nicht gesehen, Chapeau !! )... das ist wahre Musikalische Kunst.
Good lord that was AMAZING, they were rocketing through it I haven’t heard it played this fast or this right except by the master Adrian Chandler of course
I like how the cellists look like they're thinking "please, kill me" at some points. Bowing the cello that fast must bee extremely physical and tiring.
If I have one wish: being able to play a part in this work of art. Can only imagine the kind of joy one feels within this magical sound. Composer and artist, never felt such a matching perfection.
I’m back here for the n-th time, and it feels as fresh and energetic every time! I’ve been to rock concerts, that are quite loud and full of power. Yet this? This performance, this virtuoso performance, it crackles with such energy, such contained, focused power. You see it in every second, every look of taut, intense focus in all the performers’ eyes, the rhythmic, contained swaying motion. And the almost superhuman precision and harmony of their playing together. This is what power looks and sounds like. Not raw power. But contained, channeled, perfected. I have nothing but total respect and awe for these virtuoso musicians 🙏🤩🙏🤩🙏🤩
Turbo prestation.Maestria, maitrise, excellent, harmonieux, disciplinaire sinchronisé,pour ce qui est des autres artistes accompagnateurs.Très bon destressant,même plus 1 medicament pour l'esprit.Bravo Anne Sophie.!!!!! !!!!
Just superb. Love the theatre of it also. (And the editing. How many performances loaded on UA-cam have that totally boring prelude where the performers walk onto the stage with long applause. The editor of this clip decided to start with the music)
Perfect tempo, right on the edge, can hear each note soaring with just that tight fit before the next one is perceived. I would love to see more pieces done this fast...
Yes, it's fast relative to the old renditions but having listened to it several times, I've taken to her rendition. It's refreshing. She's an accomplished violinist and this rendition shows her elasticity and creativity that can only be afforded by those who are as accomplished as she is, at the apogee of her skills curve, deservedly so, because of the years of experience under her belt.
Sure it was fast, but it was more articulate than most versions I've heard- all the more remarkable. Good sound-recording quality might be part of it. Not only articulate, but Mutter was more on-pitch than other versions (still haven't found one with perfect intonation). The fact that the video editing focused much more on the attractive female 2ND violin rather than the older, male 1ST violin did not go unnoticed.
holy shit. I was listening to this in another tab while doing something else and when the first solo hit I had to switch over just to see how fucking fast her fingers were going. godDAMN
The cellists in this are spectacular; they actually get off their chairs!!!
cellists are going wild.
That's Kian Soltani!! He's been in couple of TwoSet videos. Good soloist as well

@@cooikemint Interesting...who is your statement referring to?
Rafa V ?
The most amazing thing about this performance is she was able to play it so fast even though she doesn't have a shoulder rest.
I don‘t get how people can play without a shoulder rest
Not sure why that would matter in the slightest.
@@SkepticalLlama lol i know im alwayx confused by these comments
Huh? That's not relevant 😄 I most often preferred to play with a sponge till I found a shoulder rest I like to mix it up 🤣
She doesn't need it, her body bacame one with the violine.

Diese Frau ist ein Geschenk! She is a gift!
It's in a faster tempo, but you can still hear the clear diction of the notes she plays. A true virtuoso.
How lucky are those who play with Anne Sophie. I just learned about her a few weeks ago and I am fascinated by her skills. she is a legend.
this is real presto, i love it
dmgs540 this is WAY ABOVE presto
@@cooikemint Prestissimo indeed lol
One of the greatest living violinists. Superb performance.
I would LOVE to be a neighbor of any of these musicians and listen to them practice...
40 hours a day? yeah, me too
Then you will be listening a lot of scales lol
Lol my neighbors are not always to happy with me playing my violin
Haha funny comment :)
dont be so sure, practice is not a concert, well depends how advanced a practitioner is, but i am sure that it can be quite annoying
One of the most impressive things I have ever seen and heard.❤
All this wouldn't be possible without VIVALDI! Grazie Maestro!
I love anne sophie mutter and the way she play .

IKR?? THERES SO MUCH ENERGY IN IT

It's like a drop. You can hear her spirit (for lack of a better word) move through the crescendo, launch itself off the edge of a cliff and fly.
🤝👍👏
WHAT A PERFORMANCE !!! That was nothing short of FANTASIC ; BRAVO in triplets, you've just shown your audience how Vivaldi really kicks ass!!!
Ling Ling is proud! *"When you can play it slow, you can play it fast"* 😌
How elegant does she look in canary yellow? And she plays incredibly beautiful.
This is the best version I've ever watched.

Please tell me the recording that does it quicker; I would LOVE to listen
Wow.
Its fine and im okay with is but this is NOT IN THE WORLD the speed you play it
This is amazing. I can't stop playing it
I just watch it over and over again
String players: So how fast are we talking this?
Soloist: Yes
Ann Sophie Mutter, what a beautiful first name, even more beautiful middle name, and a bad last name. They just don't match, there is no harmony.

The best of all interpretations by one of the best violinists in the world.. I am sure this was Vivaldi idea when he used the name "presto" !
Just by composing this piece, Vivaldi is the greatest!
0:17 - She's looking toward bandmates, like, "Hell yeah. We got this. It's time to throw down on these strings!"

ok
i like this kind of dialogue between the soloist and the rest of the orchestra, makes it feel more like a collaboration that an accompaniment :)
This made my eyes fill up, not the piece but the skill and and passion these people displayed.
The best version I've ever heard, full of passion and joy of playing, I had shivers, thanks!
