the audio quality of this channel is just phenomenal, far exceeds most of studio albums
I agree
Don't forget that everything is compressed in UA-cam (sound and images). Nothing will replace a good studio recording, but nevertheless, it's always good for any channel to upload content in "HD".
video quality too
And video as well)
Many of Voice of Music's music are actually 24-bit, so ya
The main violinist is playing with no notes in front of her. That's the level of confidence one should strive to achieve. Pure Brilliance.
I didn’t notice this, that’s awesome
That's totally normal for us violinists.
But sometimes when you're playing at that speed, you really have to just memorize everything because there's no time to read notes. That and the number of times she must have practiced.
Musicians usually use muscle memory to memorize their tracks, it usually ends up making it easier for us that way.
I always see this take in the comments under mainstream popular classic music videos, and it honestly unreasonably irks me. Often, even beginner musicians are expected to memorize their pieces for performances. Go to any piano recital or violin performance and you will recognize this. It is completely normal, just like how you are supposed to drive a car or a plane without having the manual in front of you at all times.
The sound engineer deserves a raise!
A beer 🍺
@@Kooooooooooootz That's the whole part... you can't just get rid of someone breathing just like that. Noise gates and dynamic compression could be used but it would make the reverberations and dynamic range suffer horribly. Classical pieces are performed by humans, that's the whole part of listening to the piece, it's like you are there. As for discounting the skilled people who set up the Decca tree for this and high quality equipment for you and for FREE none the less, I think you should give them more credit...
@@Kooooooooooootz how dare they breathe
@@Kooooooooooootz I actually like that in a recording, especially when the virtuosity is this level
✨❤️❤️
It is said, that Vivaldi composed more than 400 concerts and 40 operas and that finally, he died poor and his music was nearly forgotten. A lot of years later, millions of people all over the world can enjoy his beautiful music thanks in part to videos like this.
Thanks to contritibute to keep his music alive.
Being poor was part of Vivaldi's job description, he was a Catholic priest after all. But his music was neglected after his death only because the preferences of the audience had changed (Baroque period had ended, Classical had begun).
他是怎样死的?
❤
Well said!

That Cynthia smile. She knows this performance is perfect.
Vivaldi would be delighted.
7:38 you know what moment this is.
Neo Wakeup funny but not really the point of the comment. That is the moment when the most famous part of this concerto plays.
Alas, his fears were justified
The Heavens thunder and roar and with hail
Cut the head off the wheat and damages the grain.
3rd presto
Ah yes, the storm
Don't regret. Remember.
p. 28
the audio quality is just unmatched, hearing the breath of the musicians adds a whole human layer to it that just touches my soul.
I was wondering about the sound between the notes, so it is really her breath.
impeccable
the commitment to baroque is incredible
Cynthia Freivogel is an extraordinary concert performer, the best Antonio Vivaldi interpreter I have ever heard, they all have their style, but Cynthia is from another world. A thousand congratulations to her and also to Voices the Music, without them there is very little that can be done when playing Vivaldi.
I agree.
I watched other version of Vivaldi's Four Season over UA-cam, and Cynthia's playing is not only more clearer than others, but also the way she played it (with the whole voice of music team), interpreting the piece, is for me, much better than others
She’s excellent and gracious applauding her fellow band members, very humbling!!
Would love to hear the other 2 seasons.
@@hieronymuswiesenkraut3628 they’re all in the channels video library
Cynthia Freivogel...and Fabio Biondi!!!
Wonderfull performance. No ego, no adding showoff gimmicks, just exactly what Vivaldi wrote! Thank you.
Thank you.
wow, I'm italian and I know vivaldi 4 seasons like my pockets. I tell you she's the greatest interpreter of this work. and also, the other musicians are amazing.
C'est superb...!!!💙
John Smith i was thinking the same thing lmao
@John Smith This executon are the best I heard in my life
This execution is the best in my live
@@stellario82 I'm Italian and I agree with you
The best version of Vivaldi summer on youtube.
YES absolutely this is perfection
Lady Cynthia Freivogel's skill is beyond comprehension. An entirely different galaxy
I. Allegro non molto (in G minor)
II. Adagio e piano - Presto e forte (in G minor) 05:23
III. Presto (in G minor) 07:36
I thought I couldn't listen to the Four Seasons anymore, as I heard it too often already, but this ensemble gave me the feeling I sort of heard it for the first time. So pure and such amazing sound quality.
❤️❤️❤️❤️✨
Absolutely the same! I don't even know how I ended up here initially - normally I would just skip past Four Seasons video's- but something bought me here! And I am absolutely blown away by these Seasons performances - notably those ones with Cynthia. 🙂
after 3 and a half years of violin practice i can now play the piece i dreamed about 3 and a half years ago (yes i learned violin just to be able to play this piece)
Bravo!
I’ll never get tired of this
Its my favorite
Me too.
Me too
me too :))
Only fools would!
*That breathing and the music are both intense*
I don’t know why this performance make me cry. The sound touch my heart, beautiful !
❤️✨
It's called Stendhal syndrome
It's very moving indeed
The most beautiful season for both Vivaldi and me ... light.. light... message of life, just like that...Cynthia Freivogel ... respect...!!!!
Absolutely beautiful and incredible. No conductor, first violinist who is the lead. Everybody is on the same page it seems rhythm, tempo, Feeling. Beautiful. Thank you.
Thanks!
Holy shit that crescendo at the very ending always gives me goosebumps and eargasm. Sound quality is so insane even my low quality cheap headphones sound crystal clear. Bravo.

Ok I am not the only one then
This, is 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘿𝙀𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙄𝙑𝙀 performance of "Summer" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons! Cynthia Freivogels’ musical direction is masterful to say the least ( as Salieri might say "as if God Himself .." was directing her" ! } Her performance as the soloist is unequivocally exemplary , leveraging an outstanding performance by the whole orchestra ; all of which is easily discerned in vivo by the superb quality of sound & vision. This, without exception, is the yardstick by which ALL performances of this concerto should be measured.
Wow, thanks!
This woman plays so well - I could actually feel Vivaldi's music.... and her soul in it.
It’s one of the most beautiful music that I’ve ever heard.
Thank you.
I love how the poem is in the subtitles as the music plays.
What poem is it?
@@adrijac When Vivaldi writing this amazing masterpiece, he put little notes all of these notes. The purpose of this is; just make it easier when playing with enstruinment and a little bit feeling about song.
@@PowerTheBoy Wow amazing! I see. What an amazing concoction of the music and the beautiful imagination of his mind. Truly Art! 💫❤
This piece is spectacular, I never get tired of listening to it.
Vivaldi was a genius
Stunning! Stunning! Stunning!! Absolutely mind blowingly stunning performance! Cynthia's stupendous virtuosity is beautifully accompanied & complemented no less by the rest of the orchestra, making this a holistic performance of such ineffable magnificence! 😄👍👍👍👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much!
My god this woman is just incredible! Just absolutely amazing and indescribable with words!

you deserve it. great job :)
You guys play beautifully 😍
By far and away the best performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Incredible playing by Cynthia!!!
The violin is very sad in the hands of this wonderful artist. She is a legend. If Vivaldi was alive, he would have been amazed at the way she plays. They are all great
The sonnet subtitles really do add a whole extra layer of joy to these incredible recordings. Thank you, thank you.
You're very welcome!
One of the first, if not the first, pieces of program music.
I bet this is how this beauty originally sounded when Vivaldi was alive!!! It's perfectly interpreted, it's like being in heaven!!! Bravissimo!!
I realize that this is Vivaldi's "Summer" movement, but I picture it as a Winter blizzard in my mind.
This well executed.
Every time I listen to this version I fall in love with it again. Stunning.
Thank you, Sara.
It's so strange that someone disliked this music😔
It's completely universal, no worries.
Super complex classical instruments played by professional can only be appreciated by equally subtle and rich person
Alaa Saroukhan it’s bots
Just think the heat wave was so strong their phone screen was distorted and the like button was actually the dislike button. Then they pressed like before passing out. :)
you dont have to be so extravagant
I feel that my life at the moment becomes richer whenever I listen to this.
Am i the only one who thinks that four seasons sound much better here? or i haven't listened enough on other channels?
This peice is so lovely and played with such sweet care and grace. I have wept just watching the violinist pour her sould into the music. Lovely.
I admire the sound of this recording. Warm, detailed, clear and beautiful reverb. Great
Thank you, Koen.
I agree. Such a privilege listening to this.
Absolutely
Orchestra teacher told the class to listen to u guys. Now putting this on repeat for 10 hours
9:31 They realise they are perfect and they are proud of it. A woman interpreting Vivaldi is the most beautiful woman in the world in my eyes. And I admire them once again. And finally, the stage and sound acoustics are marvellous! Magnificent!
As Voices of Music passes the 400K subscribers mark, we thank you all for listening to our channel. And our fabulous musicians!
The quality and importance of your channel cannot be overstated. These videos are almost like a glimpse into a parallel reality of pure elegance and beauty, timeless and uplifting.
Thank you so much!
I died and resurrected thousand times while you played... Bravo!
Pure Heavy Metal
This one is the gold standard for me.
Cynthia playing like an Angel...no, better than Angel. Phenomenal soul
I must have been listening to crappy recordings because I've never really heard a the notes so clear before. Absolutely beautiful!
10:09 Listening to this for the first time as thunder and lightning roar outside my window is an immaculate experience..
When you your audio is so phenomenal you can actually hear someone breathing.Unexpected but hey it just adds to the intensity of this masterpiece!!
The mics signal to noise ratio and low ambient noise but very sensitive nature amazes me. This is the true work of an experienced audio engineer.
@@electricflixproductions agreed,no other channel matches the sound quality
ok I hear well like you but nevertheless it poses a problem for me when listening to this fabulous music with headphones
I’ve got tears in my eyes... fantastic

This deserves at least 100M views
Maybe....
No. It deserves 10billion view. Every single people on Earth should watch this.
wo calm down!
@@VoicesofMusic don't sell yourselves - this deserves millions and millions of view - I can't imagine the multitude of choices you had to make to try to honour Vivaldi's original artistic vision. I think Signor Vivaldi would be very honoured by your rendition.
Call me an elitist but taste like this is only for select crowds.
Vivaldis Summer is just an explosion of senses. vigorous
Best performance I've heard so far, I don't know why but love it
For me personally, I love it because it’s probably close to the version that Vivaldi heard in his head while composing it.
Making of Vivaldi is far better than other channels..
No matter how many times I watch this, I always get chills.
Of the 6 million views , I think I'm responsible for at least a million! 😄😄👍 By far the best performance of Vivaldi ... ever ! Even Nigel Kennedy "Mr Four Seasons" pales into insignificance by this rendition. Cynthia & the orchestra are just out of this world! Even Vivaldi himself would be blown away by this performance!
At least a million times?
Let's assume that you have rewatched this exactly 1 million times and the length of this music video is 11 minutes 36 seconds which is 696 seconds. A million times would imply that you have spent 696,000,000 seconds on this video. This translates to approximately 8,055 days which is about 22 years and since UA-cam has only been around since 14 February 2005, your statement is impossible (assuming you only used one device to play this video).

There is no word to describe how beautiful this performance is from Cynthia Freivogel. I particularly like janine jansen's concerts, it was difficult to find better or equal until now. They're both EXCELLENT🎻.
Also the sound quality is wonderful 🎤🎵💯
the lead violinist puts all into it, it shows the life long dedication .... respect
Probably one of the finest interpretations of this piece
Thank you.
After 7 minutes, all the hairs on my body stand on end. It's indescribable. What comes next is of an almost divine potency. I have to thank this channel and all these musicians for allowing us to listen to such songs in an odd way! A thousand times thank you.
The best of 'SUMMER' ever made,,, only by her Baroque violin... I LUV IT !

Cause that is in baroque tune. So there is difference with others I guess. And of course if I will listen Vivaldi~Four Seasons I open these perfect videos played by Voices of Music.
I played violin for 10 years as a kid. The first chair violinist is absolutely phenomenal.
I showed this to my friends who are not fans of classical music and they were amazed! 😁 Thank you thank you so much for this performance, I get to show them a glimpsed of why classical music is by far more superior than any of the boy bands they follow 🥰
One of the best visual and audial representations of the Four Seasons I've ever come across! The crisp, pure quality of the period instruments is like musical candy to my ears. I thoroughly enjoyed this performance!
Thanks so much!
