- The rear motor mount is on the driver's side. Just raise the motor a little to remove weight from the mount and that gives you enough play to take the bolts out that secure the mount. Be sure to remove the little screw that holds the oil filler tube out of the way.

Someone Ikmow failed inspection. The mechanic said the mounts were bad.

I have no idea on how to attack this installation. I'm going to add purely off your video which was so much information that was helpful in it. I just barely started working on my car myself two months ago because I did not have to financial needs to take it to a dealershipto get it done
I have a floor jack so, making sure the jack is on solid ground, I placed the jack under the oil pan.with a block of wood between the oil pan and where the jack makes contact with the car. That stops the jack from denting the oil pan because the wood will give before the steel. It's like a cushion. All of the bolts are under a lot of weight so I jack the engine up a little to take pressure off the bolts.
I need to install a new rack and pinion is there a way I can use a floor jack to hold up the sub if so how would you go about it? Thank you so much for the info
i wonder does this motor mount have any oil or grease inside them? i have what looks to be a black oily substance around that exact mount on my 2010 journey
