I still do think that Shippuden was somehow less dark than OG Naruto tho, but it was probably the over all tone and not so much the violence.

Fun fact: everyone but shikamaru and Naruto was susposed to die during the Sasuke retrieval arc but kishimoto's editor made him change. Which imo ruined the perfect chance for Hinata and Naruto character development and making them push themselves further to become stronger enough so they can keep their friends safe. But if kishimoto didn't have a editor Sasuke would've existed in the first place so they have made some good choice's.
There's always a price to pay
Kishimoto obviously didn't know what to do with Choji, Neji, and Kiba after they were retconned back into existence and it shows. Sure they all got a little bit of spotlight in the war arc, but it's two moments each, tops, for a massive arc that spans almost the entire latter half of Shippuden.

True... But it's only 100% true for the manga. Pierrot didn't just change things through censorship, fillers and flashbacks. Pierrot even influenced the canon material.
@@Fatalis_Legend I agree. Eg Sakura not respecting Naruto was till pre timeskip, but Pierrot makes her so mean in the movies. She wasn't that character anymore post timeskip.
Pierrot really fumbled everything with what they did with Sakura man, she was very refreshing in the manga even though her character was yet to undergo character development, the anime made it impossible to watch even a single scene shes in.@@Rthym_
@@kamadothorfinn8166 ikr with all sasuke kun rant! She wasn't doing that in manga. Lol they even deleted minute details like sasuke blushing 1 2 times when sakura flirts or naruto red cheeks when hinata motivated him before neji fight. These adds layers to the characters.
@@Rthym_ Yes, but as I said, Pierrot didn't just influence things with external media. The best example is Hinata. Hinata's declaration of love didn't even consist of a whole chapter in the manga. Despite this, Pierrot made an entire anime episode out of it, even though an anime episode usually consists of the content of two manga chapters. Even though many people don't want to admit it, the fact that Hinata has such a big fandom in general is because of Pierrot. Hinata's character arc in the anime consists mostly of fillers. And as I said, even her declaration of love wasn't as big in the manga as it is portrayed in the anime. There's a reason why a film was needed for the couple with her after 15 years and 700 chapters. Because her role in the manga wasn't that important. If you just look at the manga, she's not even one of the most important supporting characters. There are several supporting characters who had a much more important character arc for the story than Hinata.

Naruto isn’t the only anime with that censures. And responding to 10:36 u actually might see it if u see MHA manga, but in the anime it’s going to be a bit difficult, and not only MHA or Naruto, probably Demon Slayer should get a bit of censure in the final arc.
But yeah, spoiling a bit, Deku actually loses control and gets brutal from season 6 to the end of the series

Seriously,when is naruto going to get rebooted with seasonal,better and constant animation,no filler,ni padding for time,no censoring,just pure unadulterated manga accurate high quality animation? One of the biggest reasons i avoided it and keep putting it on hold every year (still on the killer bee kidnapping mini arc) its because the pacing is atrocious (even with a no filler guide) and it makes me skip entire chunks that feel made purely to strecth the episode duration,the fact that filler is mixed with canon material dosnt help.
