Honestly I think the scene of Harry completely decimating Oscorp and then getting revenge on the board members should’ve been used showing his insanity and how unlike the Rami version, this is a Harry that had little to no relationship with his father which meant his character was driven by mainly himself rather than his father’s actions

This movie had way more potential than people think, while the plot is messy, it suffered from cutting a lot of scenes from the movie that would've tied it together, just like what happened to BVS, and although it is a flawed movie, I still love it for what it is, Andrew Garfield and Marc Webb (and other people) were done dirty by the studio just like Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi were screwed over. This movie absolutely deserves a directors cut, hopefully the studio realizes they could make a lot of money by making an extended cut and release it on the 10th anniversary of TASM 2.
Honestly, when I was a kid, I was kind of speculating for this to happen but then we didn’t get it so that’s why I like I feel like this doesn’t feel like a movie. This feels like a set up for future movies instead of making it a movie with a plot.
In 2014, Sony got hacked and we had A LOT of information abt the sequels. TASM was supposed to have, plus the spin-off, 9 movies for the future. TASM3 would be about Black Suit andrew garfield (symbiote), VS. the entirely of the Sinister Six, alone. Venom wouldn't be present, possibly, its just Symbiote Spidey the whole movie. This universe would have also, two Sinister Six solo-movies that would prequel TASM3. Green Goblin was gonna be the leader.
I’ve used the alternate goblin fight as inspiration for my own entire version of the sonyverse moving forward from morbius I’ve got plots for Kraven, Venom 3, TASM 3 and all the way from a Silk project to one about Captain Zero
I think the most intriguing part and that actually killed this movie's entire plot was all the Oscorp deleted content. The trailers told a completely different story, which I actually wanted to know more about, but then it was pretty much gone in the movie. The most we get are Harry turning into Goblin and Gustav Fiers passing by the Sinister Six room scenes. Imagine how cooler 'Venom' could've been having Eddie infiltrating Oscorp and that's how he got the symbiote, or how the Sinister Six was going to be this private military squad that goes around the world doing secret illegal missions. If I was Sony, I would've ran with with these plans. Sure, Garfield and Spidey probably wouldn't be there, but it would be a lot better than the setup they have now.
It's now wonder why TASM 2 feels so incomplete and rushed compared to the first film. So many scenes that would've expanded on character roles and make the movie darker in tone were cut out just so Sony can have a safer film that sets up more movies. It's a real shame cause the first movie was so good while the second one was another culprit of more studio meddling just like Spider Man 3 was.

9:57 Doesn’t this look like Richard Ayoade?
Just give us TASM3 I beg of you Sony please😭😭😭
What the piano music in the bg I wanna sample
Warping fist we are going to get the amazing spider-Man three I think and the film will include venom, and the sinister six
This movie is another victim of having deleted scenes which could have made the movie better
There was supposed to be a 2099 film but it was scrapped along the webbverse
4:28 I KNEW IT WAS HER
spider-man game of the year edition
bro why a rope is tied to his neck at 9:17 lol
Will you do X-men movie unused concept?
probably
I feel like they made so many extra scenes because they wanted to make a tasm 2 director’s cut which would give more money and enable people to feel way more excited for a supposed sequel but in the end TASM 2 was a flop.
But I do love spider man so I would’ve loved to see another one
Director cut's weren't popular back in 2014
