I raided a guy recently with a couple hundred viewers and he immediately shamed everyone because I was streaming the same game. Then he said he was going to ban me for promoting myself. I'm like... Why would I promote myself to someone that has 12 viewers... What? He went on for 30 minutes about it and everyone left. I think some people are allergic to generosity. They are just too full of hate.

I am aware of who this is from the setup. Obviously won't say the name but I have to say I am very disappointed at their behaviour. Having been raiding other streams myself on Twitch for years too I have never seen such a sad response! Sorry you had to go through that Man. There are SO many other streamers who are always so grateful for a raid so please don't let this guy put you off doing it in future.

Dude you have the nicest folks in your community, like i said in chat in the Friday stream, you have a great community that i love to the the depths of my heart. I have never just trolled like that, and I've always supported everyone, even if they hated me and/or trolled me, and I've always seen everyone on your channel do the same
I've been around your channel for a while now, and I've also been on Twitch for years so I have experience with all different kinds of streamers and communities... and I gotta say, your community is always great. I haven't seen anything toxic at all besides maybe the occasional troll that every community gets. People are always chill in your stream, you yourself are always chill and don't promote any toxic behavior. Which is one of the things I love about the music community, especially the metal community, on Twitch. Most people are super cool.

I hope you see this, but I'm late to this party. Thank you for choosing to remain positive and taking up the role of a mentor. No one can watch this and not understand how frustrating this must have been. But instead of losing faith in humanity, you turn it into a lesson on multiple levels. That's the definition of leadership, and we are better off with you in the world. You have my respect and gratitude.
The only thing I would add, if you find yourself making a similar mistake, don't ignore this issue (ban someone who pointed out your mistake), own up to it and if it was public, make a public apology. This kid, if talented enough, will probably recover. But no where near as fast, and now his future enemies have more ammo, ammo that never expires.

Not to insult him but he needs to have more of an open mind than a close mind, and he was acting like a well... a pile of all the shits on the earth. Negative people who are close minded and that are ungrateful have no place at all. I'm sure some of that user's followers saw this and his attitude and left his stream and unfollowed him after that fiasco. As one of my military friends have told me this quote which I'll never forget. I think he was also insecure. If you look at the one part of the video where someone posted that one comment literally saying "trash can snare" he sat there and said it in a mocking tone. Hey Samus I can't catch many of your streams due to time differences but i did catch some, and was a part of some decent raids, i remember one dude that was practicing the piano, didn't know many metal songs but he was really good and i stayed for over an hour with his piano in the background and everyone was super supportive in chat, don't let one bad raid reaction get you down, just steer clear of that one dude and spread the love to others

I’ve never seen such wild behavior without warning like that in any of the thousands of streams I’ve had to watch. I can’t believe a video like this had to get made.

Sorry this happened but glad you showed your side. I had one incident similar to this a long time ago where evidently I didn't bring enough to their channel (8 people) to be considered a raid and they just drove all the viewers away. Ya never know what mood or attitude a stream has. I know who this guy is and I doubt he'll be around for long with this attitude. Keep on cav'n
