Totally was at The Planetary Duality tour in Atlanta. No idea that was you drumming with Abigail at the time. So awesome to realize that today. Great idea for a video.
you said in the devy empath video "lets do the ziltoid thing" daddy must know what you freaks are doing together.
So wait, do you still play for Decrepit Birth cause Wikipedia says you do.
where in jersey are you from? ocean county here... toms river to be exact 🤘🏼🤙🏼
Im in Jersey & would snatch up that drum kit!
One love for you Samus ♥️
KRIMH Drummer holy wow its KRIMH! Much love and respect to ya!
Sup Krimh!
joseM
Hi Krimh
The Queefing Process is quite possibly the best band name ever.
x fucking d so hard
🤔😵😱😲👍😀😁😂
66samus:"It was just bass"
*Davie504 deathstare*"I AM ANGRY NOW!"
Man, don't worry about losing the tour pass for Canada... Instead of a pass you got the ultimate gift from this tour: your wife.
Man, I was at that Lamb of God show in Jersey. I remember I just found your channel and your Abigail Williams play through. I've been a fan ever since. But saw you walking around that show, and was too nervous to come up and say hi because I wasn't sure if was you or not haha. Fuck bruh.
05:29...had me tearing😂 whew! Did not expect that.
I went to see Decrepit Birth last night in Omaha and you weren't there. Singer said you got married and were grounded lol.
SAMUS.
BEST VIDEO YET.
CONTINUE VLOGGING.
I MEAN IT.
Love,
Susan.
Funny to hear you say you were struggling back when you started with Decrepit, because I'm pretty sure I saw you back then and took note that Decrepit had a legit drummer. And I remember a lot of hair. ;)
I remember first finding Samus in his Abigail Williams audition video.
I remember in 2008 when I was an aspiring metal core kid and I went to this Parkway Drive/Darkest Hour tour. The bill was massive and had an amazing lineup but...very different bands on the bill. The crowd in NC loved Stick To Your Guns and Winds of Plague....but when this band Abigail Williams played people stood in shock as if they were all about to be taken to hell after witnessing the rapture. And this is where I saw Samus and was just so stoked to finally witness real death metal drumming in person. Been a fan ever since and love that you do UA-cam now. #havesex
OMG I FORGOT TO ADD Winds of Plague drummer fucking QUIT on the Raleigh Show...and they still played 3 songs BECAUSE SAMUS IMPROV'D ON THE FUCKING SONGS LMAO! You killed it.
Dude I remember this. The big ol’ “Fxxx You” from Lincoln Theater to the departed drummer of winds of plague 😂 glad Samus stepped up though. Ahhh gotta love my high school years 😅😅
20:41 I was dying, and then the shot of the most metal slippers I’ve ever seen! Hahaha!
8:13 whenever I saw VoM live with Brandon on vocals, I swear his Phil Anselmo impression got better every time. :D
Awww I’ve known the guys in goatwhore forever…good guys! And Jeremy Saffer is an amazing photographer! Thanks for sharing your tour stories!
Woke up on the day of the show with a drumstick in my left nostril and the grips completely unravelled and stuffed in my mouth. I was totally hammered and as a result played the set with the taste of used stick grips in my mouth worst migraine of my life which somehow helped me blast harder lol
I'll never forget, being just a senior in high school, my old band Phocian Gate opened up for Decrepit Birth in Nashville at the Muse in late 2009. Even though I never got to live out my dreams of going on world tours i still feel like that one show made absolutely everything worth it for me. You guys were my favorite metal band at the time and it was a dream come true for me. After the show we spent all night smoking and drinking back stage with you guys. I'll never forget, it was some very nice bud you guys brought with you from Kentucky.
18:29 *NO ONE* can beat my uncle's collection of mountain dew cans
"I'm quitting my job to advertise for mobile phone games". All the best dude, I think you gotta get a major gig to go on tour. I guess you are going to be on the DB tour?
This video made my day. Man where do I start! From the tour stories to the vlog at the end. Thank you for this Samus keep being awesome!
Holy crap what a kick-ass video. So cool to have so many memories and so much tour experience. Metal is a way of life. The best way of life.
Cheers Thamuth
Never a dull day with 66Samus! I love how you never seem to stand still, it's truly awesome how you live your life, keep it real buddy!
I love how your dogs are just unphased by your antics.
That’s awesome you got to tour with a lot of those bands. Most of whom I grew up listening to and admiring.
Dude you toured with the Faceless on the tour for the absolute best album they have ever made, that's metal as fuck. Big Sex.
Awesome stories, man. Seems like you were constantly touring with and running into friends all the time. :)
Dude I remember this stuff! Thanks for the nostalgia. Great video!
12:25 if weed is the devil's lettuce, jägermeister is the devil's soda
Conducting from a grave
absolutely love your vlogs man! keep them coming, could watch your shenanigans for hours XD
Hey Samus! This was great to see! I listened to Abigail Williams and Born of Fire way back then (still do occasionally) and your playing stood out in a big way, and certainly stood up to Trym Torson! I also hope Devin asks you to tour one time, that'd be GREAT!
13:29 yeah man I can really hear the struggle lol
always been a fan of sammy duet,,since his acid bath days,, that must have been cool playing with him.
I've done local tours with my band good times. I remember one time when I was touring for October fest and the event was amazing.
But we got there like 20 minutes before the place opened up and it was 45 degrees out we decided to stay in the back of the van and do acoustic songs while people waited to get inside.
I've seen this video like... 10 times or so.
It's just now that I realized that "The Queefing Process" is not the actual name of the band from the first Abigail Williams headlining tour.
No wonder I couldn't find them on Google.
Probably never laughed so bad for a "shitting story" and someone getting mild psychosis 😂
Dude I totally agree on the Cookout! KILLER food AND they're open super late. A no brainer for after-gig grub in NC!
Yeah you gotta be drunk because their food went downhill 5 years ago! Have 0 desire to order them anymore. Rather grill my own. Cheaper and tastes way better than their shit now.
20:40 Sam momentarily experiences week 4 of Quarantine.
10:30 woah, that sounds like Spirit Crusher
Hell yeah, saw you at Thrash and Burn and the Planetary Duality tour in 08. So good.
Ahhh yes...Conducting From The Grave. 'Revenants' is still one of my fave metalcore/melodeath discs. Killer stuffz!
I’ve fallen down the worm hole. Subscribed and liked! This video in particular is great, love the tour stories!!
Oh shit! Top secret mission in a top secret location. I like the sound of that!
Loved the tour stories. And the return of the 2 fur babies. Cool stuff. 30 minutes was extremely necessary
I knew this guy was one of the best drummers ever as soon as I saw him blast away. Probably my favorite drummer now.
Jack Thuston try David diepold
Very very entertaining and funny stuff! I love vlogs and such story's. Keep it up 😊
Also played dirtfest 2008 on the local band stage. Was a great festival all the way around. Wish it was still being held at the same place...that is only 20 minutes from my house!
Yep I saw you with Decrepit Birth in Portland, Oregon. Rings of Saturn as well. I knew nothing of Decrepit Birth until that gig. And it was pretty rad.
Randomly found your channel.
I went to the last date of the AW RF tour to meet with conducting so I could ride with them to start the All shall perish tour with Suffokate, then did Merch for Abigail at Soma not too long after. So random.
66samus and Aaron Stechauner (Rings of Saturn) in one Tour? Ohhhhh Yurrrrrrr!!!!! 👍👍👍👍
Aaron wasn't the Drummer for Rings at the time.
I played with you on one of the 2008 dates! You were clean!
OMG Jared Dines??! LOL. Great video dude - love the insight into the tours. Great stories
I was at that bamboozle show back in 2007! I was working the event. Panic at the disco was there senses fail underoath linkin park a bunch of awesome bands. Don’t think I got to see you, but I was there none the less.
So I just realized I definitely saw you at station 4 in St. Paul on that Kataklysm/All Shall Perish tour. That line up was great.
Dude!! I was at that thrash and burn!! In Baltimore!!! I remember watching you guys!! I loved that your and the next year they did a second one!
2010 summer slaughter and survivors in phx, was the best time of my life
Awesome channel man! Glad I found it.
This was an awesome watch dude! I was at the Wrexham show on that UK summer slaughter tour. My band at the time opened up the second stage, and I did spot you having a look around HMV but as a nervous kid at the time I didn't have it in me to come say hi xD
This guy is such a character 😂
Oh dude! I was totally at the albert in winnipeg for that one with Three Inches of Blood and you dudes! Nailbrick also played that date too. That whole night was insane!!! Those little plastic skulls floating through the crowd, everything. What a great freaking night!
I remember the Origin show in Lawrence, KS in 2012! Every single band was great! I remember Rings of Saturn covered Crystal Mountain by Death! It’s pretty great knowing I actually have seen you perform before!
I love this kind of content!!!
More Story Times like this would be amazing
This is awesome man
Holy shit, amazing tours you've been at! Love your dogs btw. :D
I was at the Albuquerque Thrash and Burn show, the Las Cruces date of Summer Slaughter 2010, and the Occupation Domination tour in Albuquerque.
Looks like you toured with some awesome bands! I still hope that ATB comes to EU at some point. Great stories, you were already mischievous back in the day XD. The vlog was fun two ;)
Oh crap. I must have seen ya at First Ave in 09 for the summer slaughter. Was a killer show (Animals as leaders) Krimh definitely nailed all those decapitated songs. Awesome stories and great vid. \m/
so many cool histories bro really proud!!!!
We're from New Jersey I'm from old bridge NJ but now I live in Baltimore city I lived in every state but there's nothing like NJ the most metal head's you'll ever 🙈 see... peace..
Nick pierce told me like 10 years ago when he was drumming for the faceless that adam from ASP had a super cheater/tapper setup with those axis e-kit triggers lol
Saw you on thrash and burn....I remember the stuffed drums haha
holy you toured with so many bands I love
I was at a couple of these shows!! You're such a badass dude 💖
Bro U really r the man!!.. Ur vlogs are quality laughed my ass off.. cheers 🤘🤘🤘
21:12 this part threw me off 🤣🤣🤣
Man, you got to tour with KC Howard and Lyle Cooper, getting to see those guys play every day would be absolute euphoria for me.
Youre the Man! Impressive, amazing and funny as always!
I was part of the local talent at Java Jazz in Houston for your The Faceless show. Silly me forgot my bass and you guys let me use your backup Warwick. Best bass I’ve ever played on and ended up buying one years later once I got my shit together 💚
whiskey a go go is where metallica had one of there shows way back in the day. i read it in a magazine
And IT WAS THE FACELESS PLANETARY DUALITY TOUR!!!! AHHH! So awesome. Cook Out is also in South Carolina. Lol
“Here’s the last one from lamb of god”
*doesn’t elaborate about the time with the one band I didn’t expect to see and was happy to see on the list🥲 my eyes got all wide and excited I said out loud “noooo wayyy” right as you put the laminate away and cut screen😭😢
SAMUS WAS IN GLASGOW??
That hurts my souls, never got to go see the Biggest Bahabee
Holy shit dude the thrash and burn tour was amazing. I was at the Rochester NY show and to date that’s one of the sickest shows I’ve ever attended. Suicide silence played that date too if you remember.
Love you Samus❤️
Thanks. Fun vid. I liked the fast slow drums vid too.
All Shall Perish was dope.
what !! i was saying id like to see you play at a show sometime and you toured as the bassist of goatwhore before i knew of you. Thats sick. I seen you play bass now i need to see ya drum in person
I have SEEN YOU BEFORE! ABIGAIL WILLIAMS!!!! I probably sang loud enough for you to hear me from the front row in Houston, TX. I LOVED AW.
27:36 to 27:43 "Weee! Olive Garden! SEEEX!" 😂
Dude, I think I saw you play with Abigail Williams in El Paso TX. In the Shadow of a Thousand Suns is still one of my favorite albums. I love your drumming in it.
Texas metal heads are in a class by themselves. Respect.
I was at that the summer slaughter show at the Rave in Milwaukee. I got tickets last minute and drove 3 hours.
21:02 is the cutest sound ever!!!
I remember being so pissed that the Summer Slaughter Tour in 2010 didn't make a stop in Winnipeg... Great vid, thanks for the stories. Do a drum play through of Black Seeds on Virgin Soil from Old Man's Child. k thnx bye.
I spit my water out laughing at 00:18
Awesome dude!
My fav non drum samus vid
🤘
I think I may have saw you at fuel. We opened for Goatwhore several times in Jacksonville with the band I was in at the time Cystic Dysentery. Good Times!
We also played with Dicreped Birth!
This video is legendary 🤣
Amazing to see some old school Samus!!! I enjoyed this video very much :) 🤘🤘 22❤
