The FF theme was used in almost every mainline game, I believe with the exception of VIII which only slightly references it in the Game Over theme. Not sure if the MMO installments (XI and XIV) use it.

Now that I grew up, I also played... the beginning of the 7.
Dropped at Shinra tower cuz I got burnt out from obsession to not miss anything (I stopped at the dude who gives you a rare materia if you guess the code first try), was checking the wiki like every 3 seconds.
I'm def gonna get back to the 7 tho. I think this game does nothing right, and that's why it's so good.
Like how you go through all these "meaningless" moments (the train, Corneo's house, the staircase), which, while boring on paper, really feels like I'm part of the adventure, and not just being shown only the good stuff like a random spectator.
Plus there're these cruel moments, like when the pillar is about to explode, and you even beat the dude who can prevent that, 99% of games would go "omg phew, defused on the last second".
But FF7 says "no miracles in life buddy" and you're forced to escape while the whole district gets nuked, crushing familiar places and everyone still in.
Even the way Aeris gets slapped when she gets kidnapped in the copter, like idk I rarely felt something that violent in a game.

Heisenberg's fart at 7:08 is literally the best fart I've ever heard, it sounds like a polyphonic synth
As one of early Yamaha DX7 synth programmers, I programmed 2 different farts, one that raised in pitch, and one that fell in pitch. Took a long time, but well worth it! I wish I still had them saved.
