Such a good point. Failure is important. We should focus more on being great failures in order to be better successes instead of ONLY focusing on success.
His best piece ever-the little girl and the duck. He asked her "When did you know?" She said "When did I know he was a duck?" It was absolutely hilarious.
@@janedoe1229 hi...just bring up Steve Hartman in UA-cam...and watch the whole episode...you have to watch the video...it is sooo cute...girl and her duck...where the duck is laying on her sleeping..😁
Someone told me that we learn more from our failures than successes. Makes sense. It’s fairly easy to accept your reward/trophy when you’ve won. Let your ego/pride stride on up there to fetch your prize. But for failures, we need humility. With a heaping dose of acceptance for whatever derailed ya. Owning mistakes and not blaming others for your own shortcomings. It teaches tenacity. If you fall down you don’t physically stay there, right? Get back up there with a new plan. Cuz repeating the same mistakes is insanity. Failures should be our launching pad. So yes, teach kids how to gracefully fail. It’s never a permanent indictment on their little lives. Nor anyone else.
awe thanks....growing up in Baltimore public schools and being a late bloomer with dysgraphia and not atheltic I played lots of sports and such though none well.... our soccer team though we did have some good players were the totla bad news bears and once it was clear the year we got the Bullet (loosing every game) once it was clear we would loose the game often to private schools and off season lax players, coach would put little me in with one of the brothers who played thru having CF... I say with pride I was the worst member of one of the best school bands around.... many of my band mates are proffesional musicians now....i was the worst produly but i never quit.... ditto for sports and tho i could swim well i wasnt built to win...i got cut at first....my brothers friends boycotted...i swam all four years...the tema shrunk in numbers joined the bigger league and even won ...i once swam against, one lane over even, Anita Null who was the worlds fastest woman at the itme..... as lowest seed in tennis tourney i played pro Reed Cordish who obviously was easily beating me....i vomited in baltimore summer humidity they asked if i wanted call the match i said bleep now....i pulled off one ace then Reed carriedo n winning the tourney....my point is i appreciate the idea of not quitting and not emphasziing winning....only one person or team win...... many people win simply by doing thanks! - SJOCR
Interesting.. because the culture in the USA gives a trophy for everyone... School, the last 2 decades, the students have been awarded for not being successful only for trying...
Too broke from pharma hustling covid fears and insane gas prices to muster much kindness. May the kids survive the nukes as the US pushes war to practice their courage.
I hope Steve has his kids continue as his side-kicks. Dictionary desk is a great idea
This is just beautiful! Exactly what we need to see right now. The unlimited POSITIVE potential of the human spirit!! Thank you so much!
Such a good point. Failure is important. We should focus more on being great failures in order to be better successes instead of ONLY focusing on success.
Absolutely, especially with children so they realize that "failure" is part of learning. Blessings.

Your collarbone. I’m an RN. I had to look up the general term. 😁
There’s a good book called Failure is the back door to success by Dr Erwin Lutzer.

What and why? Your agenda is way off base. Try to listen and learn and apply the lesson.
