I have the Python and Anaconda reissues. Thinking about the KC as an addition to my collection of snake guns. Love the other two, but at $1,500 bucks a pop, what's not to love, right?
@@OBNXS1 I'm not really sure how new they were they were at last year's Great Outdoor Show in Pennsylvania midnight range was showing him to me and they had the trench rear sight which I didn't like at all but the one you have I consider buying that one that thing is beautiful
Colt is superb in single action pull, but d/a reset as you demonstrated has always been less satisfactory than with a S&W or Ruger, which is why after the 1950s they lost favor to those until revolvers were being supplanted by semiautomatics in law enforcement use by the 1990s. During the 1880s a Frenchman named Galland invented the lockworks used both by 'Smith and Colt in their competitive swing out cylinder double action designs, and Bill Ruger in the 1970s set out to improve over both, which he arguably did. The King Cobra line is a fine modern choice. And Kimber K6S merits consideration as well as Rugers and Smiths.
For fucks sake.... we watched him take the fucking cylinder block out of the fucking gun... and on top of that, who gives a shit if he’s making a video with a loaded gun? ffs if you can’t handle a firearm loaded... I do not for the fucking life of me understand why everyone in every video has to be all “and we’re clear”. I don’t give a flying fuck.
what is the impression of the trigger? I've never fired a colt double action revolver. Everyone seems to rave that they're some of the best built revolvers (obviously speaking about the old ones). So curious about impressions on the new one, do you feel it's a better revolver that say one of S&W's ?
Brandon Vignando the trigger is OK, it’s really nice in single action. I don’t care for the Reset though; there’s 3 distinct clicks during reset. I have a 686 Plus Deluxe that has an INCREDIBLE trigger. It’s probably the nicest trigger in all my revolvers. I wouldn’t call the Colt trigger butter smooth, but I would that 686.
@@OBNXS1 thanks for replying. I love colt and the history that comes with the name and it's iconic status but I sort of had the feeling with companies like S&W continuing production and having so many lines it'd be hard to really stand out with a revolver unless it was really something special. From what I'm seeing of the reviews popping up is that it's a great gun, but it's not "the best" and people seem to be saying they think some of their higher end S&W's are better (and likely at a lower cost). Hopefully if they bring back the python they can really bring something that stands out.
I have a 629 Talo 3” 44, the Colt King Cobra Target is waaaaay better and buttery smooth, especially double action, I chose this over over the python and another S&W revolver, prices are going up because people are realizing what a prize this particular revolver is! Cheers!
OBNXS1 yeah I don't know why they don't offer them on every variant. A nice revolver like these king cobras just aren't the same without the nice wood grips
Why? They stopped selling guns that no one was buying. The AR market is saturated and no one wanted their mediocre rifles at premium price. Don’t buy into all the clickbait shit from people that can’t bother to read the articles they post with it.

Sweet, that's one I've been waiting for. Maybe for Christmas I'll have to get myself a present.😁
Beautiful piece... Thanks for the review.
Feels better than the python, a lot smoother, especially double action!
Sweet! Have put one in my hands, the size looks interesting.
I liked your holster test.
It's not bad. It's definitely smaller than a GP100 but it's a really good carry size.
What a nice looking piece! Can't wait for the shooting video!
That's a really nice looking revolver the cobras that I saw at the gun show born as nice as that one looks like you got a winner
Were they new models? This is the first one they've released with target sights on it.

@@kingpin7673 Yea, they released the gutter sight first. These just came out with the target sight and 4" barrel.
Mine is the older model from the 90s it does the same thing with trigger resets
Thanks I was curious about that.
Sweet pistol. Can’t wait to get one. I’m in Canada and we’re not expecting any until February
I had no idea they were out in the wild until I stumbled on it at the LGS.
I'm so jealous.
Nice gun dude
Does it take glock mags?
Slim Cowboy yehsh
Yes
Nice 👍🏻
Very nice
Nice
Is this the gun that" Rick" from ( the walking dead) uses... But longer? Or was it the python 6" stainless
Rick’s is the Python.

The K6 DASA is still on my short list. Especially if they release a 4".
It’s a great thing to hear “we are empty” as when he was talking about loaded weight I got a tad nervous.
You notice I checked it every time too.

Sorry im late,cz owns colt .
Not when I did this video.
@@OBNXS1 sorry! Love what you do,
All good, it was kinda cryptic so I wasn’t sure how to respond.
Move the camera closer so we can see it...looks 50 feet away...
Bryant Gill I’ll keep that in mind from now on. Thanks for watching.
And no Hillary hole!
Super stoked no Hillary's butthole
Dude you pointed that thing at me well it was loaded with orange ... Lol nice Revolver and good review.
not the same frame as the original. Looks tiny.
It's essentially an L frame. I don't have an original so I don't know if they're a little bigger or not.
Just bought one, much closer to a K frame. It’s based on the old Detective Special.
First!👍🏽👊🏽🇺🇸
Fiber optics in a target gun, really 😆
People seem to like the fiber optics in target pistols. I can’t stand fiber optics, they always come out.
Can you buy these grips directly from Altima with the Colt symbols? I'd like to have those grips for my king cobra 2 inch
I don't know if you can buy the exact ones but I'm sure they have something for the Colt.

So is this a T&E gun, or did sugar mama get a new job
Sugar mama is employed. I don’t get T&E guns.
