    Adam , I want you to know you are inspiring. I'm a 20+ year auto painter that recently got into bikes. End of May I finished a memorial paint job for my nephew on his street bob. Followed your water transfer video with the globe and ship. I did a portrait of his mother that passed from cancer when he was young on tank like the ship was done. Did lotis petals, sun rays and lace as a tribute to his mother. Club style bike with quarter fairing.. Unfortunately August 7th we lost him in a accident on the same bike. My life will never be the same. But by watching your videos helps me keep going. And inspired me to test my skills. Painting is what keeps my mind straight. Thank you for the time you take for your videos.

    I took a fascination in this art style when I impulse bought an old harley. Had Ryan Mcquiston paint my tins, id like to learn myself. I have a good compressor, just need to get a gun, paints and a few random objects to practice.

I look forward to sharing pictures with you when it's ready. You make it look so easy I shouldn't have to redo it more than 10 or 15 times, about then you'll see my first? attempt. Keep well.

    Lots of good info and a real nice finished tank design. But with all that talent you still can't record a video, without blowing peoples ears out. I'm 63 and care for my 87 yo handicapped mother. I can't sleep due to back injuries, so I wake up at all hours, take my pain and muscle relaxer meds and watch some videos on cool stuff like this. while my meds kick in. It sounds good while someone is talking set at 1/4 volume, but they crank the music up when they stop talking and it sounds like 3/4 volume or more. Doesn't anyone preview there own videos, or maybe they don't care, that the viewer has to either mute the sound or wake everyone in the house up at night, by just watching an art video that sounds like a rock concert.

    Love your channel! So, you don’t measure or anything? Just eyeball it? Your lines look perfect (I realize this ain’t your first rodeo), but should a noobie be measuring or anything to get it near your quality?

    i’ve got 2Questions for you on tip # 5. whenever you say if you’re not going to go straight to painting use some tape how long of a time window are you referring to? because in my experiences where I’ve left a tape on for longer than a few hours. whenever i remove the tape there were always a few spots that lift the under coat. 2nd question. How long after your flash time do you begin to lay your tape?

    • @TimeWarpCustomPaint
      @TimeWarpCustomPaint  2 роки тому

      No problem with using the lime line tape brand

    • @TimeWarpCustomPaint
      @TimeWarpCustomPaint  2 роки тому

      Do you wait for the clearcoat to dry and sand it was 600 right then you lay down the tape

    Can you help me learn how I messed up please? I peeled up my limeline 1/4” tape and my base coat came up!! What did I do wrong?? I used the practice hood panel limeline sells. I skuffed the panel with the 600 grit sponges limeline also sells. I first sprayed Createx hot rod sparkle white, then I sprayed Createx sealer silver. Sanded again with 600, then started laying out pinstripe tape. My 1/4” centerline I peeled off after laying the smaller 1/8” border on either side of the 1/4”. Was i supposed to use the sealer silver first? I’m 100% water base. I did add some 4030 to the mix. Now I have to do the whole panel over again. Please help!!

    Sunovabish! It just loves to scrunch up when I make tighter turns... Do I need butter on my finger, or should I light a candle at church, or maybe there's some contract signed in red paint, near some crossroads that'd fix the issue!? I even tried jumping on one foot, rubbing my belly clockwise with one hand, patting my head with the other hand, while circling, and singing a perfect "Rubber baby buggy bumper" in C sharp, but....
    Wait a second... I keep forgetting to put the sticky side down... Nevermind. I think I got it. Nope, I still suck, but now I feel stupid too.
    😂😂😂😂jk... But not really. Thanks for the teaching.
